Idk how were they nerfed? no single og characters from Naruto were relevant in Shippuden which by your definition is ''nerfed'' Naruto lost to pain, Madara and kaguya.. Sasuke lost to deidara, Itachi, Madara, and others who only secured victory by the other one letting him win or a random plot armor thing now in boruto where they faced momoshiki an actual galaxy buster (he legitly did it in the novel) and they flexed on his ass and jigen who's basically isshiki massively stronger than any of them, despite him being severly nerfed even the author taking all his power away still managed to beat them now your disappointed at this bcos they lost to him? idk if y'll wanted them to be treated like gods or something bcos even boruto himself was nerfed to the core he wasn't sarada or mitsuki lvl and took weeks to make a rasengan who can break a small rock compared to Naruto using kurama to knock down building and defeating chunin+ characters with no effort but it's suddenly a problem when boruto does this after 9yrs now 🤦
naruto and sasuke were not rusty considering they just came off the fight with momoshiki. The timeline between the jigen fight and the momoshiki fight isn't huge so this isn't actually true what is true though is that jigen had a counter to their entire bag making it impossible for them to win thus naruto's statement saying they couldn't beat him "right now"

Firstly sasuke was never rusty only naruto was because sasuke was actively engaged with missions and exploring kaguya's dimensions and finding more about the otstsuki. So remove him from the entire equation. When I said came off it doesn't imply its in the same week however its not in a big enough time frame to make the argument that naruto is rusty because in the manga right after that fight is the start of the kawaki arc in where prior to fighting jigen naruto engages in a fight against delta. So no he's not rusty and its never implied that he is post momoshiki fight and sasuke was never rusty to begin with

@@edd8914 you’re perspective isn’t wrong, but a lot of people don’t like that it’s not as important. Think about that my hero arc about the music festival. A lot of people called it mid but it was necessary character development for a lot of people. Or if you haven’t seen MHA, you can also think about any other anime that spends extra time fleshing out characters in flashbacks etc. Lots of people hate it. For me, I didn’t have a problem with it but it’s hard to defend when Boruto is constantly compare to OG Naruto. Only the manga holds up in that regard. And if Studio Perriot didn’t run out of bandwidth because of Bleach TYBW, some things would be better animated.

In their defense, Jigen had absorbed some Ten Tails Chakra and was in full power and was breaking down by the end, while that regeneration overtime and being out of chakra was affecting Naruto and Sasuke's brain cells...
Watching Naruto and Sasuke now, it’s like pulling an 5 star in an gacha game than years later more powerful units slap them with ease…. It’s so sad to see, almost 20 years with characters just got them to get knockout by more powerful characters 😭

Bruh, people just saying jigen/Isshiki stronger, ain’t no way they were ever OG Naruto or sasuke fans, they didn’t need to do them dirty like this many other anime’s that have had sequel series didn’t nerf or do their main characters from the last series like this, they need to end the Otsutsuki saga and create some more original villains for the Naruto and Boruto series
First off gonna clear you delulu by saying the series as order Shippuden, boruto and two blue vortex are all sequels to OG Naruto which's the original works said by the author in an interview. Secondly what nerf are we talking about? Sasuke lost miserably to killer bee a random ahh character out of nowhere and Naruto and others lost to Madara too even kaguya the woman they needed extra gifted powers for only best thing they did was to seal her while she was off guard and in boruto you immediately forgot about the momoshiki fight who has better feats than anything from the other sequel (he legitly destroyed solar systems for fun in the novel) Naruto base rasengan blew him out of the planet and turned him to dust but now it's an unforgivable sin when they lost to isshiki who dwarfs the others in power? the Sasuke and killer bee fight was impossible to defend because it didn't make sense and we were getting slandered for that now they lost for an actual difference in power it's an unforgivable sin? and are we gonna talk about how boruto himself is constantly being nerfed throughout the first show? atleast let it make sense 🙄

The reason they are so called nerfed is the loss of sage power. If you remember the symbols on the inside of the hands during the end of the 4th Great War they loss that when they both loss their arms during their clash :/ in their final fight. I wondered why naruto wouldn’t go six path mode during boruto but that is sadly the reason they are weaker. They literally were at their prime during their final fight and and got nerfed 50 % lol
You're right about them losing their arms, but they still have the sage chakra, If you look at Naruto's eyes, he still has sage of six paths sage mode and Sasuke can still use rinnegan abilities, they're actually much stronger in Boruto to the point that if a Kaguya level threat appeared, it would only take one of them in base to beat them, in Boruto, before the Isshiki final fight, it's just that Jigen is much stronger than them and Isshiki is much than that, Naruto and Sasuke are stronger than Kaguya, Momoshiki and fused Momoshiki, also Naruto doesn't have the truth seeking orbs because he use all against Madara, Kaguya and Sasuke, Naruto can't create truth seeking orbs because he only has the light half of the sage of six paths powers.
