When Our Confidence in Our Knowledge of God Blinds Us From Truly Knowing Him 

One of the troubles many in the church face today is being far too quick to believe we know God, we "know right doctrine", we "know what His Word is commanding", and we are too sure that we understand the ways of God. Yet this attitude works to blind our minds to having a truly humble frame before God. Instead, this frame of spirit works the opposite of true religion in us - becoming a source of hard heartedness and self deception.
