I've lived in China for 4 years, and ohhh boy has been difficult for me. Yes many locals are friendly but I've been scammed countless of times. I even got used to it, people just need to be extra careful for these scams that's all. Overall China is an amazing country.

I'm a foreigner in China. I have found Chinese people are very kind and helpful to foreigners. If people really are afraid of being scammed by a driver, they can use the apps on the phone to get a taxi. They have apps in english. China is a very modern and provides a very convenient lifestyle.

This is someone who was invested in your culture and put a lot of effort to experiencing your culture and country. Wouldn’t you love if someone was interested in your culture and came to your country? It’s an amazing thing.

Today's Japanese have not participated in World War II. It is cowardly for us to hate today's Japanese. This also includes countries such as India and Vietnam.
i love seeing the elders are super friendly and honest with foreigners. Mainly because some people say that the Chinese people don't help anyone and they don't like foreigners, this channel makes us see that it's not true.
Lmao I can tell that "Chinese people hates foreigners and don't want to help them" is a BIG lie. I was in Suzhou for 8 months and I can tell that people are so friendly, they are willing to help you! Even the elders are so friendly.
I think the issue is that people tend to generalize things and others. Not only in China, but everywhere one goes, they'll always find kind hearted people and others that are not so kind. In China, you will find elderly people that are hella racist and bad tempered. But you also will find the kindest, most helpful elderly people that make you feel like you're part of the family not some foreigner. Personally, I went to study here and one of my Chinese friends invited me over. I had the fortune to meet her grandmother and I can honestly say that she truly was a wonderful woman. She would tell us tales, things from the past and though I didn't understand everything my friend would translate back and forth whenever I had issues understanding. It just was an amazing experience. Or like, another friends family would always call her and ask her about her day and such, and they'd never forget to ask about me as well. 'How's X doing? Is she missing her family? Did you share (homemade food) with her? You can't help but feel warm inside. But I did have a few bad encounters as well. Like for example while travelling, old grandmas or grandpas just staring and sneering at me, muttering insults thinking I'd not understand those and such. Or like when I'd buy something. I had cases they either scammed me (asking much more then the original price) or they'd refuse to sell something because of their dislike towards me as a foreigner. So moral of the story, don't generalize. Every country, ethnicity, race, religion etc has all kinds of people in it. Some are good, some are bad. But you should never put everyone in the same shoe, because everyone's different.
It's so nice to see how each one of them wanted to protect him. Yeah when you are in a foreign country specially by your own It's so hard to manage.....this kind of amazing people surely makes you feel more secured 🥰
I visited China with my partner and this is so true. There are so many nice and accommodating Chinese. One of my most memorable trip. It's not the place, its the people that makes it memorable. ❤

I used to travel in China, and when i lost my way… The Chinese will always be helpful to help u find your way I might not understand somehow but they make sure that u understand them. As a foreigner, that’s really helpful. Yes every country has its good and bad people, as for the latter it’s always the minority… there’s still warmth and humanity in this world that we are living in.
OMG Those who tried to help him are such loving and nice people! This video remind me about my trip to China, i consider myself a very lucky person cuz throughout the trip I met a lot of nice people, like a Guangxi girl that I met in excursion to Yulong Snow Mountain (sorry I forgot to ask her name), she kept giving us snack through the excursion 😂, in every resting stop she looked for a food store and bought us something (eggs/ Chinese hot dog) and saying "we need to recharge it'll be very cold as we climb up ". When I want to give her some money for the snack, she just smiled and denied it, saying "don't mention it. We all are like brothers and sisters". I still remember that warm-hearted memory.

What was the main part of your job? I have always been so curious about the workers on board, if being at sea for so much more of the time than not makes anybody quit or if it doesn’t bother most. I could not imagine being at sea for more than only a couple weeks, I think it would drive me crazy
I have a friend who got lost in china and he stopped a random Chinese lady. She didn't speak English, so she stopped many people and one of them spoke English. He translated to her that he wanted to go a hotel, and she didn't know the location. So she went and stopped other people like 10 people and then 1 guy gave her direction. She took him all the way to the hotel. He actually left his job at one of the big4 companies, went to china to study Chinese and teaching English for living.
I visited China four years ago and explored cities and towns for two weeks. My mandarin wasn't the best, but I tried to speak the language. Everyone in China was so helpful. I appreciated the generosity and kindness, especially when I got completely lost and my GPS failed to work. People went out of their way to help me, walking me to my destination (well out of their way) and not accepting money as thanks for their troubles. It was sweet and refreshing. This video makes me happy to see, as I also experienced this and strangers dropped in to help.

I will still remember this sweet young couple who took me where I was supposed to go when I was waiting a taxi but during rush hour, it's not easy to get one 🥰 It was in a red Mazda 3, the girl asked me where I wanted to go, I showed her the paper with the address and she told me to get in. I just told her "Wo ting bu dong" and "Xie xie" and their english was not so good but it was still fun to talk with them. They was shocking when I told them "Faguo". My wife was waiting for me in a stadium place and they call her for me and they was shocking than she was actually chinese because they thought she was foreigner too 🤣 I wanted to pay them but they told me no need 😘Ok, I know it was dangerous to go in with strangers but this kind of thing, you can feel it 👍
When I first arrived in China, I got scammed like this for 1500 yuan. To be honest, these kind of scams are everywhere. One shouldn't make judgement just for some bad experiences, nor should they care about 'image' like those ladies did when they tried to lie that actor was trying to 'help' him, that's disgusting.
The lady with the white bag who walked him to the location has a wonderful smile. She was kind and gentle and was fair enough to say that you'll find all sorts of people no matter where you go.
