I was very impressed by this interview (and others on the The Dispatch) so I went and signed up for a monthly subscription.

Great interview. If journalism is the first draft of history, is it time this country moved on to the second draft to assess 2014-2024 against the larger backdrop of US history. Could you have a program in which you interview several historians to begin to assess the last decade with BLM, woke, anti-racism, etc.? Could they examine whether this period is a common pattern with variations? For example, Mr. Packer mentioned the disillusionment with Obama's more perfect race relations that was shattered with Trayvon Martin's death. Could this disillusionment be compared to that of 1968 and the Tet Offensive and LBJs "lies"? Are there other periods we can assess in conjunction with BLM: Know-nothingism, Labor movement, Progressivism, McCarthyism, etc.? In short what can we learn about the US based on the last decade and BLM?
