I am at the store praying about every item that I put in my basket. I ask God, "Do I really need this, or can I wait until I really need this?" I am checking out the clearance section in every store I shop in. If I buy "name brand" it has to be something I really, really, really like. Big Red soda taste the same in the off-name brand. And I refused to pay $3.00 a pound for turkey necks to season my greens. This is crazy. But we are blessed. We got a problem someone wished they had. We can still go shopping at the grocery store. We just have to use wisdom, pray for sales, clip coupons, watch how we spend our money, and don't be wasteful. I hope this helps someone.

Here in Michigan, a man told me in the store, that Everytime there's a strike in the Auto industry or settlement from a strike, the food prices go up. It's beyond ridiculous. It's criminal.

Chile, I stopped even paying attention to prices when I’m doing grocery shopping. I chose the oblivious route. 😅 When my sister, who’s feeding a family of 7, told me she spends about $400 on groceries. I started to count my blessings as a single person! I can’t even fathom spending that much money. I spend about $100 every two week. And that’s going between Trader’s Joe, Whole Foods, and Target.

Since when is apple juice five dollars?! I gonna have to make my own apple juice.😂 I've had a Jack Lalang juicer for about 12 years now, that I've used off and on. I use it more now than ever. I hit the farmers market up every year and buy their big bags of seconds apples, and juice those. This time I bought me some freezer safe plastic bottles from Amazon, juiced me a bunch of apples, bottled them up and froze them. I'm like, I'm gonna have me some fresh apple juice during the winter.🤣 Tip: If you google and find the nearest Amish grocery store near you, you'll come out wayyy cheaper than going to Walmart. I mainly go for their meat, bulk items like beans, oats, sugar, potatoes and fruit. Hopes this helps someone.😊

I’m so happy that at one of my jobs they let us get free food . They send so much stuff to food pantry’s and once a month we can get grocery carts full of food . Last time I got around 3 carts

This is why we we all started growing a garden. Peppers, onions and tomatoes are free. Even got chickens now cause feed is cheaper than eggs, but i live in the south. I make all meals from scratch.
