@@Sol-l4i4d first of all, what does that have to do with anything? This person just wrote a lazy comment using a line from the VIDEO word for word. Second, it’s a typo
Not true, there IS a best switch. It's switching to a different hobby so you can buy food. I haven't been able to find this one yet though, so lmk if you see a group buy pop up.
@@gerrycave nice! I went backwards from arduino, to coding, to keyboards. I was typing all the time for the code and became unsatisfied with my keyboard, which lead to the whole hobby.
Out of pure love I will let your treachery slide Linear gang is forever Also the amount of people that have told me NK creams are the best because TFUE uses them is innumerable.
@@hermit3129 nah you get blues if you like the clicky clacky if you genuinely wanted blue you dont get tierd of it. Source- im an average mx blue enjoyer
I love optical switches! I have Gateron silvers as my WASD, Gateron browns on most of the other keys, and Gateron Black on the keys I accidently press too easily like space, esc, alt, tab etc
I once saw a ted talk about marketing. The guy sighted a researcher who was working for several brands and i believe one of them was coke a cola but i believe he was also working for a company making spaghetti sauce. They tried changing all different ingredients but they had spikes all over the data and he couldn't make sense over what people liked. Eventually he had an appifany, "there isnt a perfect coke, there are only perfect cokes!" Which probably both means that you cant satisfy everyone with one product but also that there might not be just one product that satisfies a person. Many different formulas may satisfy a person and it can be hard to quantify which type or the amount each form of satisfaction is the greatest.
Had to watch it twice it was so good! Even the music you have in the background I feel like I’m watching an actual short film with 2 different people playing the characters lol keep up the good work bro!
Everyone Else: Gateron Black Inks, NK Creams, Lubed Gateron Yellows, KH Box Silent Browns.. etc. Hamaji Neo: spit lubed mx blue switches modded stabilizers with no stabilizers at all to begin with no springs at all for maximum instability no sound proofing and completely raw hollow case and to top it all off, AHEGAO KEYCAPS RANDOMLY ASSORTED FOR MAXIMUM VERSATILITY.
The best switch is the one you feel the most at home using. That's LITERALLY the only valid answer. Now, you can give ideas on switches to TRY, advice on switches that they might like based on use case/their typing style, but there is no objectively best switch. Also, linear is king of smooth, tactiles are icky, clickies are just noise pollution version of tactiles.
I'm thinking of getting a tactile switch and finding a software solution to adding sound if/when I want it, so as to have one less personal preference that's permanently locked into hardware, and one less variable to consider when building my keyboard. But it doesn't seem like anyone else is doing that. Why not? I suppose it could be somewhat complicated to set up. Or maybe a lot of people just haven't thought of it?
I don't have enough time to invest in this hobby, nor have I ever attempted, nor do I partake in any way shape or form.Yet for some reason I keep getting recommended keyboard builds and RU-vidrs. *And I ain't complaining*
