0:59 tip: for every 1000m in altitude, the r-60m can (usually) reach 500m further to a target. don't recommend if the opponent has flares but you can catch some players off guard that way.
decompression can be solved in two very simple ways imo. first, make uptiers and downtiers only go .7 rather than one whole br, the time it takes to get into battle would not increase too much this way. second, gaijin could make a .5 br (which is weird i know) so you would have X.0 X.3 X.5 and X.7 which kinda goes back to the first option for uptiers as more vehicles would be spread between these.
They "solved" BR decompression once and for all by adding 12.0 and pushing some tier 7 and all tier 8 to it, fiddled around with a few aircraft BRs, and called it a day. Hooray! We no longer have to worry about Battle Ratings ever again!
my mate and I tried to fight this thing against the F-4E and it could out energy my in the F-4 while on low fuel, Oh he also got an all aspect lock once at 8KM, we couldn't re-create that one but still, it has WAYYYYYYYYYY to much thrust. another mate said he was flying the Mirage III E and the Su-25's were out climbing him. I also looked into the IRL stats and it seems (in my 10 seconds of searching) that the climb rate is heavily exaggerated by Gaijin (20 m/s higher than it should be), probably to boost sales.
@@Stupidlyrice couldn't beat the F-5E (thank god), but the F-4, we were surprised with that, and I have kicked the teeth out of MLD's with the F-4 in 1V1's, and this one nope. It has an unrealistic thrust to weight ratio. And we did it more than once
@@_Joob btw to counter r-60mk on Sabre you should bring rockets. R-60mk baits like from one rocket launch and already tracking rocket not plane. Yea, r-60mk should only baits for fliers spam, not like from single rocket launch. From internet it says that r-60mk should have better noise immunity then r-60m, but nope, it can be countered from single rocket launch

Gaijin doesn't want balanced matchmaking... ever. The instant they do that is the same instant the incentive for people to buy over performing premiums goes away.
U cant even kill thig think whit the .50cal sabre. Why its facing it ? Plus it has some what same top speed,same acceleration, and better climb rate then it... very balanced
@@fishbones8698 I decided to spade my Japanese f104 after this patch. I did it in one game of sim lol. The enemy team was 3 su 25 just brain dead flying at my airfields dumping bombs trying to destroy them. Anyway once I figured out their flight paths I was finding and killing them every other attempt they made at my airfield. So after 3hr I accumulated ~40 kills and 4 deaths. 150,000 modification research.
@@fishbones8698 I wish you got more research for using the smart munitions. It’s fun flying the a10 in sim and using the screen to lock targets but it’s so much more efficient to just take 6 2k pound bombs instead. If you drop 3 on a base it kills it. So you can take out 2 bases and maybe finish off another if you bring 2 500lb bombs before you have to rtb
I’ve noticed that, despite how CHONKY the SU-25 is and it’s ability to just… semi-consistently eat rounds/missiles and not give half a f^ck, its flight model is very prone to spinning out from damage, paired with it’s surprisingly snappy roll rate for a cinderblock.
Better than br decompresion will be to change the matchmaking from +/- 1.0 to +/- 0.5 games would feel a lot more fair and gaijing wouldnt have to change the br of almost every plane
Oh man! I really feel your rant about 9.3-10.0 BR state right now. I've bought mig-21s and was terrified about what happens there right now. Extremely unsatisfying.
Played a good 15-20 matches with the su25 trying to spaid it today. The stock grind mixed with the whole team of su25 vs F5s and harriers made me rage and use GE lol.
1:55 it is possible, pretty easy once you practice it enough, was able to dodge r60's with f4c before not sure now with missile buff, more than likely could still do it in mig21. I will explain r60 back shots. Before its even fired you want to turn slightly to keep your energy but at the same time make missile work even at the start, then pull hard into either left or right, once you see the missile is leading your path dive down while also going slightly in the other direction.
Been fighting these things all night in the sps-k. The R-60ms should at the very least be nerfed to r-60s. What I do is use my superior speed and climb to out position them. That said, the su-25 has a lot of flarss an is crazy tanky
Try zero throttle with landing flaps extending from combat at about 500-550 KPH. This plane turns ALOT faster than the A-10 if you do it right, ive won dogfights with my 5 cannons vs F-5Cs, Harriers, and Mirages/Milans. Excellent Multi-role fighter if you can live with being non afterburning and subsonic.
Don't know if its flight model is bugged or not but I hit 1,000 kmh in a straight line and it didn't break apart. Wings were hardly shaking too. Haven't ripped it yet.
Just got mine on sale. Still learning how to use it. So far if I take a little bit of everything I can find success. I measure success on my score if I can get a thousand points I am Gucci
The Su-25 is simply a better plane than the A-10 and its at 9.7 instead of 10.0. I know the 9L is a better missle with longer range but the r60 is equally cracked at this teir and combined with its flight model being a literal tank and its speed being suprisingly quick it can just outdo the A-10 in most categories. gotta love that OG russian bias
@@molstad182 For the last few weeks there's been a hilariously high chance that my sidewinders will stop tracking the target and veer off in any direction that they feel like lmao. Idk if we're even playing the same game at this point but at least flying the A-10 I have no consistent way to deal with birds anymore

I think the Su-25 spam is worse, cuz unlike the a-10, which is rather easy to stay away from, given it's very low top speed for a jet, the su-25 can actually pick up some respectable speed for it's br, allowing it to run down and missile the flare-less planes that try to keep their distance

You should fly out the mig 23bn I’ve been having fun flying it and killing su25s it can put speed almost everything and at low speeds can out maneuver most aswell
Man, im currently on the german grind for the mig 23 mla and i just recently purchased the lim5p and im shootin down every plane at my br? its so easy XD but i do have the entire american tech tree for planes done so i guess just experience?
Try a test flight in arcade. It can literally fly backwards for a second or two. Yeah yeah, IK, arcade. But I've never seen a more made up flight model.
All rank 6 and 7 jets is super unrealistic. Everything has ace combat flight models at that BR range. Fly props or first gen jets if you want to experience flight models from a time when gaijin actually cared a little bit about realism.
Day 12 of asking to play the yak4 at 2.0 Start by a dive directly at q base that has another base clise to it ( 2 bases beside each other) 4 bombs for each Go straight to your base killing some ai on the way with your 7.62 Some planes will come on your back going in a straigh line with minimal evading is recommended and try to hit their engines with ur turret since they have weak engines a damaged one will lead them to crash i return to the airfield with 2 bases with 4 to 5 ai kills and 1 or 2 planes after taking off i go for bases if left but if not i will focus on ground targets cuz aa is the bain of this plane so bombing airfields is not recommended Bonus:do not forget to have smoke always on to piss the enemies 🤣

I bought it today, played a bit before work, and yeah I landed on my side at speed, ground to a halt and capped the runway, thing wouldn't die lol I had to bail out
while yes, R-60s are good, it CANNOT go above 9.7 because everything above will just devour it in a swoop. (more advanced jets.) it's not about it being good at its tier, its about it being constantly downtiered because everyone is in rank 5 trying to grind it

such BS. planes like the hunter got thrown so ridiculously high on their BR just because they had a missile even though the plane itself cant handle that shit, no flares and no decent flight performance. but non brit planes with flares and great missiles dont get the same treatment. a10 and su25 get thrown suuuuper low BR because their "flight performance" despite having amazing missiles AND flares. just BS
