I played Midnight Club 2 for the first time this year and this was such a challenging game, especially during the Tokyo section. The Savo races were such a chore, especially the first race in Paris which was very unpredictable and no matter which route you take,the opponents always reach first somehow... But you get such satisfaction after finishing first and after I beat Savo,it was such a relief. It was a pain in the ass,but I definitely had an amazing experience nonetheless. Also,the soundtrack slaps
During the final stretch of the Paris race, I made sure to stack my nitrous, thought I was home free with an almost flawless run. Nope, I either got hit by a random ass NPC vehicle or the other racers just gained an unreal amount of speed and passed me up. Happened multiple times until I FINALLY managed to beat it and my goddamn game froze after the race. Never touched it again. Over a decade later, I recently just got a PS2 from a friend and bought it again and I swear I'm gonna beat it this time. 💀
Savo is such an interesting character I wish we got more of him, a badass in an S7 with 5 bottles of NOS, and a will to die while racing, that's what makes him the world champ.
Plus, he's died twice before and it makes me wonder how. Severe car wrecks in the past? How did he survive two similar incidents? This man is hard core.
This game made it super fucking interesting by adding small cutscenes and personalities to each person you raced against. Wish they'd bring this back. I wonder what MC3 dub edition remix would look like
that’s what makes this game the best street racing game in my opinion, everything just felt so alive they did a good job on mcla too, the characters feel very genuine and not cringy like need for speed

I remember going up against savo I almost broke two controllers because his races were so hard, especially in Paris, the checkpoints being spread and the traffic swerving against you is just traumatizing
I was happy when I beat Makoto. But, when World Champion Street Racer came. I was so pissed. Cause, I had 6 Races to complete. But, I beat them. You should do a video to where *When you beat the World Champion in Midnight Club II*

when i first played this game and beat makoto... damn i saw the world championship and i shit myself xd beating Kenichi and makoto was rough and this stupid savo comes and fuck me hahaha, the third race.... shit i spend like 3 days to beat that race, my favorite game of all time hahaha i love it
