He said "Phuket", which is an island in Thailand, not "baguette". Still not right but much closer. Edit: According to wikipedia there is also a city named Phuket, which is the capital of the Phuket region.

Interesting fact. The capital of Thailand is not called Bangkok anymore. Now it's Krung Thep Maha Nakhon what means 'city of angels - great capital'. And I am not gonna even try to remember this name.

It's also in Thailand. It isn't one of the biggest cities there by any means, but it is located on Thailand's biggest island (also named Phuket) and is a really popular tourist destination. So it is one of the most well-known cities to non-Thai people. Can't blame the guy for quickly saying it as a guess
