I think I have finally figured out what I love so much about this musical. While the setting is grim and even perverse, the atmosphere is happy, fun, and good-humored. (But it's Douglas Sills that really steals the show).
I LOVED THIS CAST!!!!! This is such a good show! Laughed my head and butt off! Gomez was hilarious, Morticia was so perfect, Grandma... just awesome! Wednesday was breathtaking, Pugsley was cute, Lurch was so good, and Fester was so... perfectly cast and was so awesome!!!!!!
just saw the show today in pittsburgh with this cast....Doug sills and sara gettelfinger as gomez and morticia....every one came into the theater with dread....and the show IS A COMPLETE AND UTTER RIOT....if it hits your town....RUN TO SEE IT....
We saw it with all the orginal cast on Broadway and it was really one of the best plays we've ever seen. I'm sure Brooke and Roger were great, but Bebe and Nathan were incredible! I wish it had a longer run.
Every time I watch any performance of this great number I find it strange that the sound of a big explosion doesn’t follow Pugsley pushing his detonator.
this is wayyy late, but does anybody happen to have the full version of the us tour? i am playing alice beineke and would like to do some character study!
really not so bad... its an exaustive opening number and they do it quite well.... nothing can compare to the nathan lane cast and some of those performances.. but i mean its nathan lane... who was the berries in the producers remake
In the part where you cry during Just Around The Corner and then you run to Morticia, when she is singing during that moment, look at her with sadness and longing for her advice. I know this isn't a lot, but I hope it can help in some way. Reply back of there is a certain part you really want help with. (:
Alcmene Undertaker I only ask because this was from the first tour run. it says it's from 2011, and Jesse sharp didn't play Gomez until the 2013-14 tour.
