Underworld Goddess not being able to be summoned in this case aside, you wouldn't believe the amount of times people in Master Duel doesn't read Psychic End Punisher and starts wasting resources trying to out it. I had Magic Cylinders activated on my PEP... I was like "yeah... won't work"
I assure you... it's not just Master Duel. Duel Links, with its VASTLY lower amount of effects per card, suffers from "anti-reading" players just as badly.
I'm remembering the painful things I've had to do to make sure that I could kill that dude. Just crashing my monster into it and taking over 3-5k damage. So I could pop.
What does work though is Bye Bye damage. I love catching PEPs with it. Oh your gonna hit me for 6000? Enjoy the 12k back. As its an effect on my monster not PEP
I had a judge call at the regional I went to because a Branded player activated Albion the Shrouded Dragon’s effect from the Graveyard and attempted to draw off of it. I had to physically pick up the card and read it out loud word for word for both the judge and the player to understand that he could not draw because Albion’s effect was being activated in the Graveyard and not the hand. I love Yugioh honestly.

I once saw a player that want to set branded in white after they use albion in HAND. I explained once again to him that it can't be set unless albion is in the gy, so that it become albaz, albion in hand isn't an albaz monster

If you’re playing casual and your opponent doesn’t understand what effects are in play, it’s good manners to explain exactly what it is so they can learn and not burn their turn. Otherwise, well… they’ll quit out and nobody has fun.
it happenes in all card game, sometimes you explain it and they still dont listen so you tell them again then they complain cause they didnt know after burning their turn and want a redo on the turn -_-, i basicly made it a rule that if you redo a turn cause you where not paying attention or listening multiple times you then lose the game after you end the turn, cause in magic CONSTENTLY redoing your attacks after blockers are assign and redoing your turn after every card cause you dont listen kinda makes it unfair for everyone at the table so we made that rule a must now ( mostly only affects 1 person and he is about to be kicked out of the group after we mentioned his attitude multiple times a session every session
@@jacob3988in fairness, the whole targeting concept can be pretty confusing if you don’t know that targeting specifically means it has to mention the word target in the effect. Otherwise, of course you’d think dark hole targets monsters
@narkreean6490 kaijus allow for more precise plays considering they only need 1 tribute. You can always use Fairy tail Luna or Alpha Master of Beasts to bounce the Kaiju back to your hand.

We live in a time where people only read and care for their own card effects. They want to just autopilot without caring what their opponent's card say. To the guy that taught me how to play Yugioh, thank you. Always encouraged me to read the whole thing and the importance of it.
this is me when I summon psychic end punisher and then my opponent desperately tries to remove it with effects when it clearly says that it is completely unaffected by activated effects while I have less LP than him
My dinomorphia opponent: goes into battle phase to reduce c62s attack to almost 0 My opponent: switches his monsters to defence mode because he didn’t read
I love playing wimdwitch. Seeing people trying to destroy my crystal wing, a big pause when lighting impermanence or lightning storm doesn't work, and then a surrender
I love when players in master duel either target something and nothing happens and there is like this long pause of nothing and then them leaving or when they misplayed and there is like this awkward silence till they put their hand on their deck
The most annoying things are, seeing the exact same monster every time like the Baroness and somehow never drawing the out about her... This in itself makes playing with and against themed decks much more interesting, since it skips most of those cards, just like the 10$ and 5$ challanges did.

I love your channel I'm a recent subscriber. I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh back whenever I was younger I think I got out around the time synchros came out because I couldn't afford playing the game anymore, it was costing me way too much money. I'm now playing master duel for the past week trying to grasp all this new stuff to the game and as somebody coming back to the game I got to tell you I cannot read every single because my opponent plays literally like a dozen or more cards on their first turn. It's kind of demoralizing a little bit I feel like I'm not good enough at this game anymore... Any tips would be greatly appreciated I love your channel though, very funny skits!😂
Was in the same boat. I suggest playing one of the structure decks in the store and play solo mode to get the feel of it, the overwhelming text will fade. Don't play against people right away because the ratio of wins is so low, if not 0, after being away that it can get disheartening.
Me, and my friends who played old yugioh official deck (I'm US mind you) never had to run into much issues when it came to yugioh. Older Decks were slower to set up to the point you can always have a back up plan Newer Decks "Nah fuck yo shit I do anything, and everything whenever I want to!"
In master duel, I've had a player spend his whole hand trying to kill a charmer that stole his boss monster. I had two backrow, one to prevent her from being destroyed by battle, one from card effect. No, spending their whole battle phase with every monster, nor whatever destruction they had left in MP2, didn't change a thing.
sad thing is its not only in yugioh its also in magic, idk HOW many time i had to tell my friends it wont work cause of reason ( of card ability ect...) and they keep forgetting that some cards are on play. WICH result in them saying : oh well i wont do that now.. ( does something else ) wich now i just dont say anything if they try to destroy my shit and cant and let them resume their turn before they realised it didnt work and its too late to redo their move OR i will say nope its done now just pay attention ( im very hated for being petty over redos mostly cause they keep doing it atleast 3-5X a game)
in masterduel I just hold up the interaction until they summon a card with a fancy intro animation. I'm not reading 2 paragraphs of text 5 times a second. 50% of the time it seems to work out

As an MTG player i feel this waaaay to hard. Our cards be like " Scry 4. Draw 2 card." Average extra deck monster lookin like its ripped straight out of the fucking king James Bible xD

me and my cousin were playing yu gi oh And he was trying to activate Kaiba man but I said that he can’t activate the effect, because (get blue eyes from your deck and special summon it on the field) not from your hand he got mad and said he didn’t want to play no more and let’s redo the whole game I got mad he got mad so we redid the whole entire game He got kaiba man again so he activated the effect again but I didn’t say anything And let him special summon blue eyes and he won the game he EVEN HAD A EVEN Synchro CARD WITHOUT ANY TUNERS I was really mad because I am really good but I don’t really care anymore PS.(THANK YOU FOR Reading this
I remember i had an opponent like that, and i don't mean someone who tries to destroy UWG with card effect but someone who tried to summon her with just 3 monsters too
