I think Phoenix built a decent enough bench with how little they had to do that, but choosing Beal as the last piece of this big 3 was a mistake. And not because he isn't good, but because his contract is awful, untradeable and leaves no room at all to build a solid roster every season, and because he's not the perfect fit with KD and Devin Booker, there's so many weak points in Phoenix's team with this trio, and Beal isn't worth 50M+ a year

JJ, I don’t know who those two gentlemen are, but they are AWESOME. Great analysis, comments, feedback, thoughtful.

I think they need a point guard and maybe consider convincing Beal to come off the bench to balance out their lineups. If they add decent ballhandlers/tablesetter, either through the or free agency, add another big wing for defensive purposes, bring back guys like O’Neale, Eubanks, and Bol, they might be better equipped to compete and maybe be more consistent. Also, certian egos need to check themselves as well( I’m looking at you, KD)

The Suns, and in. particular KD, like ISO ball. In Golden State, KD wanted to move away from a ball movement offense and run more ISO. If that is what KD wants, then there are consequences and the Suns won't be as effective scoring the basketball.

KD should've never left the Warriors ..... all he did on Golden St was score which we all know he loves to do. Curry is probably the most unselfish super star that doesn't dominate the ball and is willing to defer if it means winning a championship. The Warriors was the perfect situation and environment for KD. Sad to him flame out in Brooklyn and Phoenix but that was his choice

Suns mortgaged their depth of the "big 3." And when those Big 3 can't stay healthy, this lack of depth is CRUSHED. Particularly in the playoffs.

As much as Phoenix is stuck with Beal I feel like a team as Orlando would need some scoring aside from Paolo. And they have draft capital to offer Phoenix. Both teams win. Then they can built properly around KD and Book. Otherwise start rebuild like Jazz did 2 years ago when they noticed Rudy and Don and Royce and Bogey wouldnt win anything. They’re pretty much locked into this core for the next 3-4 years. Really the only thing they can do is trade KD. If Book demands out first than KD will also demand out. Probably keep Booker and just check the market for KD to get some picks back.
