This was such an eye opening video! I agreed with so many of your opinions and loved the respectful and eloquent you discussed each and every topic, because this video definitely reached me. As I was able to resonate with so many of your points, as a privileged white person, I acknowledge that I will never understand how racism feels, and I was so moved by hearing your experience, and open to understanding new things, thank. you for speaking up and letting us have a space to hear everything from your perspective.
You literally took the words right out of my mouth during your black lives matter section. It has been such an emotional journey for me as well; tons of self-reflection on my experiences and just thinking of my family in general. Add to that, the ignorant, racist remarks of previous high school friends and even my in laws has been beyond draining. You are so wise and I wish I had that awareness at your age. Stumbled upon your college videos (even though I’m already in an MBA program lol) and I plan on sticking around. I am rooting for you!
