What I’m thinking is that since Hiya announced Evolved Godzilla and Shimo close together, they’ll probably do something similar for Beast Glove Kong and Skar King, especially now that Bandai have teased their own version of the latter.
I find it funny how Hiya and Monsterarts both revealed Godzilla and one of the antagonists each, and still no mention of Beast Glove Kong. What do they have against Kong smh
Its just a matter of timing. Creating a brand new toy takes something like a year. There's a reason why we've only just started seeing new GxK molds from both Hiya and SHMA, and why none of them are releasing until end of this year and even next year. You also don't want to announce a ton of figures upfront, you want that excitement and momentum to carry on throughout the year so that people keep buying the new exciting thing. So its just a matter of time; both companies have revealed their Evolved Gojis, Hiya revealed their Shimo, and SHMA have teased their Skar. I doubt that it was a coincidence that they revealed the opposite main antagonist. We will likely see both of their Kongs next in the rotation by the end of this summer and they will likely have a Q1 2025 release. But I also wouldn't be surprised to see a few repaints before brand new molds are announced - that's also how they continue to generate easier/faster profit while they work on new molds.
@@cfighter95 Yeah, exactly this. It’s just simple business, and both companies are likely knee deep in trying to engineer BEAST Glove Kong. It’s a combination of time and logistics.
*IF* we do get a B.E.A.S.T. Glove here right after this gets posted... Can you do us all a favor and do the same for Behemoth, Skylla, MechaGodzilla, Male Muto and Warbats. Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase.
Like I said before. To hell with B.E.A.S.T. Glove Kong. Hiya should give us a green blood covered Kong (with proper butterfly joints) and a wart dog accessory that splits in half.
probably the reason why hiya toys hasn't showed the figure yet is because they are working on a new sculpt cause remember Kong looks more grizzly and looks much older and there are some flaws with hiya toys 2021 Kong
I predict that before kong and skar king, they will do a fully powered evolved Godzilla (as he was in the final battle) and comes with an atomic breath part
I really hope they make a BEAST Glove Kong because I also don’t have a first Hiya Kong because I liked my SHMA Kong. But I’m still waiting for a dang male Muto to go with the female Muto
I'm hoping it will be revealed soon but also that it will look right proportions and all. Also that the glove is removable or something. I want a definitive kong from them. Also we're waiting on scar king as well and a potential mothra.
The funny thing about this is that the KSI Kong is scaled more accurately than the GxK Kong. Godzilla Evolved-393ft/Figure Height-7.04 Inches= 55.82386363636364 (55.8 for simplicity) Kong Height-337ft/55.8= Figure height of 6 inches. Hiya Toys KSI Kong-6 inches Hiya Toys GxK Kong-6.3 inches (351ft).
I just double checked the numbers and you are right! KSI actually is closer to being properly scaled. That being said, I still want to see some adjustments and hope that's not the mold they use!
@@kaijucanuck4492 Looks like you got your wish! GxK Hiya Kong has just been revealed and it looks to be the definitive Kong figure. It’s also 6 inches, same as the KSI figure so it scales properly.
I swooped up the GvK Kong from Hiya. It it is limited, but I'm still able to get most of the poses I would want. I'm skipping the Skull Island version, so I'm with you in that I hope the new Kong is another step closer to becoming King😆
I’ve always wanted to pick up SH monsterarts figures but they’re way too expensive for what you get. HIYA seems much more promising, but I’ll only consider them if they do Kong and Skar king, as I’d want to have all 4 main titans from the movie. Also wouldn’t it be awesome if Skar king came with his throne?
The thing about Kongs scale is that he is much shorter than Godzilla in GVK and GXK. Godzilla seems to stay about 393/394 feet tall before his Evolved form. Kong in the later films stands 337 feet tall so the KSI figure mold should be perfect for the older Kong
So at the end you asked what do you want from the figure I think he should come with not like a sh## ton of accessories but a good amount for what you’re paying he should come with like a 3.5 inch suko and a hand to hold maybe a upcoming skar king and the shimo crystal blast effect from when suko destroyed it and a axe and a few hand and a hand for suko when he was using it plus a stand for him oh and how the he## could I forget a roaring face and a relaxed pair of hands a pair of fists and a more aggressive open hand and as I already said a hand for holding a possibly upcoming skar king and his price should be around $55-$60 USD
Glovy monke Now really, with the movie doing great i think they might be redoing the sculpt to make them more accurate and use the articulation from ksi. Mostly because both their kongs have some flaws
Hiya : You know the rules, and so do I... But tbf, I would be ok to wait a little longer for the definitive '24 Kong figures. I dunno how toy producion works, but wouldn't it be cheaper to produce the ultimate '24 Kong, as suppose to making two seperate releases? I personally would still buy two if that's the case for both looks, but I know not all would do so. But then again, ppl already know how Hiya operates. Some even skipping Shimo for the inevitable ice blast ver. to come. So ppl would still just buy one or two either way, right? Might as well make everyone happy and just make one ultimate Kong. It would be a dick move, in a bad way, if they release '24 Kong with axe, then '24 Kong with B.E.A.S.T. Glove, then after that ultimate Kong with both axe, glove, Suko and H.E.A.V. II. Well, if they do that, they're basically digging their own grave . Rather than what I would want with Kong, cuz it's the same as you do the ultimate Kong, I would want accessory/creature packs like what Neca did . I feel like that's the only possible way to get Suko and Doug . Imagine 2014 accessory packs include that nuke train, the boat Ford was on, the submarine the Hokmuto attacked, the building Goji smacked Hokmuto into (with sculpted detail to match the inevitable Hokmuto figure), and the optional hand attached to the Femuto severed head . KoTM accessory pack include the jet fighters Rodan destroyed, USS Argo (the huge plane), USS Scorpion (the submarine), Mothra cocoon, Mothra larva, Mothra silk attack effect part, optional Goji head biting Ghidorah's head, in-the-middle-of-regenerating head for Kevin . GvK accessory pack include Doug, Rock Critters bitten by Doug, Rock Critters, H.E.A.V. 3x, Kong's Throne, Hellhawk, and Mechagodzilla's severed head . GxK accessory pack include Suko, his rock, Doug with those canine kaiju meat (I dunno what they're called), 2 of those canine kaiju, meat of that serpentine that Kong shared with Suko, H.E.A.V. II, and that carrier that Trapper used to bring the glove .
It would be a better strategic move to have two Kong '24s. Make the first one that absorbs nearly all of the tooling costs, then have a second one that requires a little bit of new tooling but you make more money on it per figure. I don't know if they would do a third release with all accessories, but Hiya is still new and fresh and full of surprises, I'm sure! I, too, would love accessory packs! Maybe not beams since they take up a lot of space, but things like the train from G14 would be great. I was really hoping the S7 Minus One would have a head with the train bite, but I guess there is still time for a "Ginza Attack" version. Perhaps the third Hiya Kong could have Suko as his weapon hahaha
