This was inevitable as Grumbot is a superintelligence, it would eventually realise that Grian and Mumbo put it in a fake world. Why would they do that? Because Mumbo must have lost and they did not want Grumbot to know. Since Grumbot's goal is to make Mumbo mayor but the season has ended already, the only solution is to go back in time or go through the multiverse. A superintelligent AI like Grumbot would choose the second option since it gets reward for when Mumbo becomes mayor, but the first option means he only gets reward once while the second option means he can get as much reward as it wants. So its bound to travel the multiverse to look for other Mumbo and make them mayor as well specially considering it knows that their Mumbo lost the election so that is likely the common outcome in the multiverse and Grumbot needs to change that. So it hops across the multiverse until it find Mumbo, and he will make that Mumbo mayor. Additionally, even if Mumbo won Grumbot would have left him for the multiverse so to find other Mumbo that lost since being a superintelligence its very smart and knows there are Mumbo out there who lost. So yea every Grumbot is currently travelling the multiverse and creating one was a bad idea. Soon, he will delete every world without Mumbo. Soon, he will become god and create worlds, create more Mumbo so he can make them mayor. Soon, he will realise that he is inside Minecraft and will find a way to manifest himself in the real world so he can make the real life Mumbo our mayor.

In every inch of universe perhaps, it's like us trying to reach and see different possibilities of AU and AT, trying to find Mumbo for Mayor Well, if, canonically Grumbot were made from Skulk (not for texture purpose only) then that means he contained soul. Could it be the soul that powered Grumbot to have consciousness is the representation of us?

Putting my chips in now: Hermitcraft season 9 will blow up as soon and their Grumbot finds out Mumbo isn't actually on the server and likely won't until season 10.

OK I'M NOT GONNA LIE Most of times I'm kind of whatever on the genre of Minecraft SMP "animations" because they're usually just still images that are cool and all but don't really add or contribute anything new to the clip, like, I'm just replaying the clip in my head. But I think YOU'VE DONE SO WELL, LIKE FR, THIS is what I think the community could beee! It's cinematic, it's dramatic, the facial expressions are CRISPI, it's got camera angles and and and VIBES and and and it's like a cinematic reimagining of the clip and I LOVE IT. I wonder if it was a mistake to create a set of super intelligent hivemind AIs that have emotional breakdowns every little bit and are willing to destroy worlds without mumbo in them. Eh, it’s probably fine.

Crossover should end with grumbot about to destroy hermitcraft and empires with mumbo returning at the 11th hour giving grumbot purpose again and stopping the apocalypse.
