Where is Windows Movie Maker in Windows 10
Windows Movie Maker for Windows 10 you can still Download Movie Maker for Windows 10. Windows Movie maker is a video editing software that still runs on Windows 10, BUT a word of warning, remember it was first launched in year 2000 and Microsoft have stop supporting Windows Movie Maker for Windows 10 and is not added to the installation of Windows 10.
But a lot of people have got used to using Windows Movie Maker and use it for video editing to make movies, it is compatible with 64 different languages and you can use man different file formats. Its still compatible with different operating system like windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 10.
Important: The Windows Essentials 2012 suite has reached the end of support and wouldn’t be available for download from Microsoft’s servers after January 10 2017. The Windows Essentials suite includes Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Windows Live Writer, Windows Live Mail, and OneDrive.
Looking for a alternative? try DaVinci Resolve Free Video Editor or try filmora video editor windows

Dear Microsoft, Please stop taking away features people like and replacing them either with nothing or crappy condensed versions that can't do one eighth of what the old feature could. Sincerely, Everyone seriously considering dumping Windows because you keep taking useful and popular stuff away.

Daily Fortnite I never had any sound problems. When exporting check if sounds are enabled or there is some soecial settings going on there. Again, never had any sound problems with it, check for updates or reinstall the whole thing if the problem wont work itself out.

Thank you so much! I've tried editing with other video editors that I quite frankly don't understand how to use. I often use Movie Maker to create animations by stringing short photos together, and I have not ever found another program which is as simplistic as Movie Maker has allowed me to create those animations. For anyone wondering, I animate using a mouse and not a drawing tablet, which is why I can't easily use freeware animation softwares like Krita.

This is one of the greatest videos I have watched in a very long time! I'd be lying if I said this video didn't help me out immensely, because movie maker was my go to video editor because I didn't need something too complicated but now I can go back to doing normal video editing, so thanks!

For all saying the page is gone, go to internet archive, the place where you can download discontinued software for "educational purposes" for free and with no malware. It saved me couple of times and it saved me again now.

Its now completly removed from Microsoft for download sometime in march 2018. Everything has limitations or watermarks. Movie maker was good quick video editor. This is so annoying.

Thank you very much Brian for the link.I was shocked when i tried to install Movie Maker a year ago and was told it wasn't available.Yes there are better software options available but i like this program. Those of you saying the link doesn't work are wrong.I've just reinstalled Movie Maker to my 3 Windows partitions and they function just perfect.

Story Remix SUCKS compared to what Movie Maker was capable of. It's been such a pain in the ass trying to edit my guitar videos (combining audio and video and lining them up correctly), plus it doesn't even offer things as simple as transitions. It is the worst replacement, a "fix" no one asked for

2 years later, I STILL have not found an editor that was as easy to use, free, convenient that offered all the features I need like Movie Maker did. I will FOREVER be mad at Microsoft for getting rid of it, in the least preventing us from downloading old versions. This is exactly what I feared about upgrading to Windows 10 - how about you let people do what they want?

Works on Insider Preview Build 14367.0 as well. Adds Start Menu/Programs entry. Have a few Win 10 clients that still use it for videos uploaded to YT. Hope you have a great weekend mate.

Must admit I use movie maker for my you tube videos. (may be something better out there) but its easy to use.But still using good old windows 7 .I like windows 8 but cant get away with 10. ace video cheers for sharing.

It blows my mind that in 2016 an OS actually does not come with a movie making app or program and you have to download one from 2012. This is the "future"? I don't understand why anyone is their right mind would be running Windows 10 anyway seeing as how it's super buggy, a privacy nightmare, and malware prone. At the end of the day I almost always end up telling my clients that unless they play lots of games they are much better served with MacOS or Linux. Stability, security, usability, features, price, Windows falls short in all of these compared to MacOS and Linux Mint.

yeah ... macOS is so fucking stupid, the PC's are built for nothing but buisness, i mean you really cant do anything else on them other then type up some docs, send out a few emails and edit some things with their shitty software ... i would never use a macOS comaired to windows, at this point in time windows 10 is now running great no issues

Great, the first link worked for me. Thank you for the upload Brian. You do need 7 zip to open it up. Download 7zip and install on your computer. Then right click on the downloaded file that Brian provided then go to 7zip and unzip, you can then install (open with), works a treat. You can also use WinRar.

Dual boot with a hard drive switch...windows purchased through Kinguin on one drive for the stuff you need it for...and another drive for Linux for a secure OS...still cheaper than Windows at a retailer and 2 PC's in one

THANK YOU I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS EVERYWHERE!!! 😁😆😆🙀. EDIT: The microsoft link doesn't work but the mega one does. I scanned it with emsisoft anti malware and virus total and both declared it legit and malware-FREE. It had a community score of +72 on virus Total. BTW if you just want movie maker run the essentials installer and click on the manual install and deselect everything except movie maker

It may have worked for a time post the initial release of Windows 10 but subsequent updates to Windows 10 has rendered movie Maker completely inoperative. I keep a Windows 7 computer around with it on so that I can use the feature I'm adding lyrics to music videos which I can't find any other Editor to do as easily
