Where Is Your Chassis Number/VIN Located & What Does It Mean?

In this video, I will be showing you the locations to find your chassis number/vehicle identification number (VIN) for your car. There are 5 places where you can check it out.
The chassis number is 17 characters long. Also, every character in the chassis number has a meaning to it. I will be explaining what each character means and it signifies in the second half of the video. So, make sure to miss out the second half.

Kudos for the Video clip! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried - Saankramer Vehicle Statement System (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for getting paid to drive without the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my good mate called Gray after a lifetime of fighting got cool success with it.

It is a good one of a kind guide for learning how to check used car history minus the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my friend got cool success with it.

It is a good one of a kind product for learning how to check used car history without the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my mate got astronomical success with it.

In Ertiga's VIN 10th character is 'L' and 11th character is 'H'... Then what is it's manufacturing month..?

Hi , during delivery how many months back manufacturing date is fine for ford ecosport considering waiting period they provide is 4 month ? I am getting a delivery of ecosport in June 2021 and date of manufacturing is Feb 2021 .is this fine ?

It is perfectly fine. Waiting period was 4 months and it adds up to the actual delivery properly. So the moment you book your car they block it for you. Its still a 2021 car so not to worry.

Toh gadi ka original colour white hain. Yeh blue colour baad mein change kiya hoga aur gadi ko wapas register karvaya hoga. Toh documents abhi sahi hain jisme apko blue colour likha hain.

what is the diff bet chassis no and the engine no.. because there r two separate nos in the RC..

The chassis number is the frame on which the engine and the gearbox are sitting. The frame has its own number so that when you mention that the dealer can find the relevant parts based on the number. The engine number again is to identify the specific engine that fits your model and find the parts for that specific one.

Vehicle is pronounced as if the 'h' in vehicle is silent, it's pronounced as 'vei-cle', and not 'vehi-cle'.

You can also check it from vinwiki.com and get a full vehicle history of the car. You can Google 'VIN Check' and find a lot of other sites that give you the vehicle information. Hope this helps!
