@ECSOrder66 They are made to follow every order no question. But they still didn't realize it was a brain chip deal that could make them kill their own friends with no sympathy about it. Without that chip even tho they are still made to follow orders they would have never turned on their generals with no reason to. Some clones would have and a lot would need proof of treason
That scene set up the entirety of the Clone Wars Series. Its what the show is mostly about, the clones, the war, and the struggle. If they didn't want that line in the show, I think the Clone Wars Series would be a lot different
As a man, there have been many scenes that have forced a tear. There have been a few that have brought more than one, but nothing has ever made me audibly cry... except the words,"you were my brother, Anakin. I loved you."
The reason I didn't cry was because Obi-Wan was not a brother to Anakin...he never helped him on the stuff he needed the most, like getting closure with his mother and during the time he had nightmares/premonitory dreams about his mother and Padme. The Jedi failed Anakin, they neglected him when he needed them most.
Bruh if Shaak Ti was actually watching over him instead of letting him get drugged on the Shuttle, he would’ve been fine. Well it’s not like things turned out well for the Kaminoans anyways. Another example of Sidious burying the past after someone’s usefulness to him is done
The fact that she found and buried all the clones she could find really shows that she still cared for and respected the clones of the 501st and knew it wasn’t their fault.
@@thomaskeen3324 throughout the show she acted like an egotistical sосiopаth, never respected her superiors, and generally acted like a sith, and it's all with her being the most standart jedi, and when she was accussed of a crime (horrible writing btw), she couldn't just stay in the cell, she had to make the situation even worse by escaping.
It did the same for me, too. When I watched the series finale, I shed a few tears, because it felt like one of the last parts of my childhood were dying as the show ended. Which is why I feel so overwhelmingly happy when I'm watching The Bad Batch. It's more or less a continuation of The Clone Wars, which was one of the last bastions of my childhood memories.
“Hold your fire, we’re all clones!” “Take off your helmets and show them!” “wait, what?” “…but…but it was, *cough and tear* y o u…” This whole episode hit different…
@@noturmum7967If you're asking for context, in one episode of the Clone Wars, specifically the ones in the Umbara arc, Jedi Master Pong Krell commands two legions of clone troopers to fire on each other out of his own malice, and so the two legions are shooting at each other, until one clone in the 501st realizes that they're shooting at each other, and that Pong Krell intended for them to kill each other.
@@noturmum7967 and they shot at each other even though they could see the clone armor, because krell told them the enemies were droids wearing their brothers armor
bro that scene is so perfect. just everything about it was on point and i really teared up. pretty underrated and overlooked when it comes to sad scenes in star wars
Bruh legends cry at the video "anakin remembers" *looking at luke being tortured, one of the last remnants of padme* *thinks back to padme on mustafar saying come back to me, i love you* *goes sigma male quintillionaire grindset, picks up boss, throws boss down Ion Reactor* *looks into sons eyes* "I want to see you with my own eyes + you already have" quotes *dies like a boss and gets literal viking burial despite being space hitler*
The clones had such a hard life man… it’s sad what they had to go through all the time. I get chills when I hear some of the things they say. They were people but were not treated as so
@@BatmanSmiling it’s not meant to be the same. Clone Force 99 (or of course more commonly known as The Bad Batch) is a group of other “defect” clones, only the “defections” of these guys work in their favor. The 99 in their name is to honor the predecessor who sacrificed to help his brothers
This part gutted me, watching Ahsoka take Rex’s helmet off and I already knew he’d be in tears because he can’t do anything to save his brothers… rips me apart every time. 😢
Han is still alive in most peoples canon because Disney’s sequels aren’t, but every time I watch clone wars through again, needless to say tears are shed on more than one occasion. 99, umbara, Ashoka leaving the order, Fives, the last few episodes of season 7, all of it…
MasterPlo Koon's death in RotS was really sad as well. It's such a brief moment in already a very sad (but very good) movie. However, as I'm watching Star Wars in timeline order, after getting to know him and seeing his interactions with Ahsoka all throughout the Clone Wars, this probably 10-second death scene hits so much harder.
Where men cried: “YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE! IT WAS SAID YOU WOULD DESTROY THE SITH NOT JOIN THEM! BRING BALANCE TO THE FORCE NOT LEAVE IT IN DARKNESS. I HATE YOU! You were my brother Anakin I loved you.”
When obi wan last saw Anakin he was saying good bye old friend may the force be with you. He came back to find his apprentice gone, consumed by this Darth Vader. He watched one of the strongest Jedi with a good heart who cared deeply for his friends. That same man he saw murder younglings and kids no older than 10. He had to fight him to the death on mustafar. His brother and friend reduced to nothing but hate and anger towards his old master and friend. That is what Ewan McGregor portrays with amazing acting.
I always found the whole "Bring balance to the Force" thing odd for the Jedi to want when the scales seemed pretty tipped in their favor. I thought a rising of the dark side would be balancing at that point.
@Shamiul Pervez no when the CW movie came out everyone disliked her cuz ani disliked her cuz she was a loudmouth and screwed things up for them and folk feared she was just some jar jar to draw in kids and girls to the show.
True - the boys in us died when we saw a third of our childhood get killed in a bad sequel trilogy. We as adults cried at Ahsoka leaving the order and Anakin
@tom gu He actually wasn’t. He was the best of them all and was taken from the light not by his own design. Sadly Anakin was manipulated his entire life and was never in control of his own destiny. He was torn between what he wanted to be and what he had to be. Yet he was so good and strong that in the end he was able to defeat the dark side 1 last time, not just for his son, nor for himself, but for the Galaxy. That’s why he was the chosen one, he was always meant to serve the will of the force to bring balance ✨
In the Ashoka tv show she says that her master was the only one who never gave up on her. I immediately thought of this and almost broke out into tears. My wife didn't understand.
@@IncitefulHomoeroticEncounter the point was that the jedi didnt know about the chips and the only case they knew of a clone killing Jedi was tup but they still didnt know much until order 66 happened
Jesse's helmet got so many lore in it. A person who doesn't know star wars would say: "it's just a dirty stormtrooper helmet on a stick." But it's not it represents a long, sad and great story about the clonetroopers. Rest in peace all fallen heroes
There’s no singular saddest moment in this show. Masterpiece of storytelling and emotion. No matter how many rewatches I give the show, I never fail to cry at Satine’s death
But do you realise that it only hits this hard because you have multiple seasons and way more time than in a movie to understand and care for the relationship between these two? (not defending the new trilogy just saying you can't really compare it like that and call it a 20 minute episode )
“I am no Jedi” Ahsoka is the goat from the CW. I cried when Ahsoka left so bad, at the age of 11 and now I’m 13…and still cry.and trust me I never cry during movies.
@@benjaminwilliam6643 TCW season 5 episode 20 - The Wrong Jedi. Anakin in a room with the council members inviting Ahsoka back to the Order, after they cast her out when she got framed by Barriss for bombing the Jedi temple. "I did it. Because I've come to realize what many people in the Republic have come to realise. That the Jedi are the ones responsible for this War. That we've so lost our way that we have become villains in this conflict. That we are the ones that should be put on trial, all of us! And my attack on the Temple was an attack on what the Jedi have become. An army fighting for the Dark Side, fallen from the Light that we once held so dear. This Republic is failing! It's only a matter of time."
When Rex was firing on Ashoka and a tear was going down his face was the part that got me. Especialy since just a half hour before you see the entire 501st happy to see Ashoka back, and so excited of her return that they painted their helmets to commemorate her
That was the first time in rebels I actually felt anything for the characters…. I know rebels gets shat on for its Disney level storytelling but damn that scene hit like a truck.
@@BlueSoulGamer the part when Ashoka was talking to Anakin during rebels, and Anakin said she failed him is so sad considering that there was a deleted arc in the clone wars where there was a scene with Anakin in a sense saying that Ashoka failed him, kinda sad.
The scene where Ahsoka walks away from the jedi order was literally the first time I've ever cried to movie or a series. Yet today, after so many years I still can't sleep well after watching this scene again. Just hits so hard in my heart.. unbelievable how well done these characters and the story telling are.
@@huiclan876 yea I struggled through the first season but told myself “this is Star Wars, they can’t possibly fail at this” *Proceed to make sequel trilogy*
Like the whole scene is heartbreaking. Imagine seeing your best friend, you knew almost your whole life, turn evil. Trying to kill you and seeing him burn down infront of you. And then he says that he hates you, while you are walking away. That hits me...
Just listening to the "Ahsoka leaving" theme is enough to make me tear up. That was either the saddest or second saddest moment in the whole show for me.
I don’t think you noticed but they don’t care This ship is going to crash and those soldiers my brothers are willing to take me and you down along with them
