Claas has introduced a new Class 7 combine model for those looking at a new combine with modern features, but a lower price tag.

The Trion features the same hybrid technology inside, but in a simpler package than the Lexion, says Claas product supervisor Jeff Gray.
Lexion is very robust, with heavy duty drives - the Trion 740 is for those that aren't pushing the limits of productivity, but want to do a better job, at a lower cost, says Gray.
It's a different philosophy when approaching harvest. Gray explains it's about optimization, not necessary maximizing what you can do in a day.
As a Class 7 combine, the Trion features a 402-horsepower Cummins engine, so it can still handle 12-row chopping corn heads or draper headers up to 40-feet wide.
