No matter where you get them I suggest taking them to a vet afterwards for a check up to deworm them or treat them for hidden diseases. I learned the hard way when my hatchling suddenly got sick and died from parasites which symptoms didnt manifest till it was too late.

When I got my Three Toed Box Turtle that I got several years ago, I made sure to do my research before I got the Turtle.

I have a new baby red slider and it’s going pretty well it seems really happy!

Also, if you like Snakes like Ball Pythons or a small Reticulated Python, I HIGHLY recommend that you get it from a place called The Reptile Zoo! I've been there a few times & my Family, Friends & I get the VIP Celebrity Experience whenever we go there. They're famous for breeding & selling their Reticulated Pythons. I got my turtle Shelldon from Petsmart. I think I had a pretty good experience, they made sure I had a big enough tank before I could even buy him, which I respected a lot. As of right now I've been trying to find a diamondback terrapin turtle to add to my turtle family, but they are so hard to find.

I got all 5 of my different species of captive bred aquatic turtles from the turtle source online. They provide great information and have shipped me nothing but vibrant healthy turtles on all 5 occasions

I just got my first trutle. She is an sideneck turtle. I saw her at a pet store and I had to get her. Because she wasn't taking good care of. And me being an animal lover. I knew I could take good care of her. I love all of your videos. Im going to try the Tuna water with her food. 😁

Where I live u can only buy turtles from pet stores or craigslist. State doesnt allow them to be shipped here and there's probably like 1 or 2 breeders here of RES. I got me and Mississippi map from the pet store.

I have 4 red ear sliders, I got all of them for free 😂 my friend's turtles had babys and he gave me one but then other irresponsible people gave me their turtles because they were tired of taking care of them and saw I was a good owner they kept them in one of those tiny plastic temporary tanks with no basking

Hi Turtle Girl, Buba and Bonnie have both grown 2 inches in one year. Bonnie is Huge and I’m actually enjoying them both. Bubba seems to be behaving and my 13 fish are alive and well. Weird that my black and gold gold fish are now changing to solid gold fish. I didn’t know these little guys changed color depending on what the lighting situation is. Hey I'm new and well I'm trying to gather as much information as possible and i have some questions about Leopard gecko care well here I go with the questions. 1.Humidity Chamber:Can I use like a Medium size Glass pot something like the ones you use to put plants and so I can use Moss that it's selled on pet stores right and if is yes then how deep it should be? Also I wanted to know if it could be glass im a bit worried that the glass can o overheat(that's a question from your gecko setup video very useful tough I wanted to know a little more) 2.Substrate and Terrarium: Can I use Coconut substrate could this be brought from a pet store too? Also how deep I should put it and other thing is what other kind of substrates it will need for now I know there's the coconut one and if there's another substrate Should I put the coconut substrate first or it will be for last? Also does the leopard gecko needs the substrate or not? I keep hearing they don't but I heard others they say yes they need it. And for the terrarium what I should do? I want to buy all it needs including terrarium thing is I don't know what terrarium I should get because I don't know if the gecko will be a baby,juvenile or Adult (kinda a dumb decision if I buy the terrarium first but is my only choice because where I could buy the Gecko maybe a long way till getting home and I wouldn't know what size is he till I get him/her also there's the thing I don't want it to keep it waiting till it's terrarium is done I don't want it to be fatigue the way to home since here is tropical island ) 3. Feeding: I am clear I should feed it with Crikets and give the worms as a treat because i don't want him to be spoiled and be a picky eater right? Also I hear if they are babies I should give to 5-6 small crikets adult 5-6 crickets too also Since they are nocturnal I should feed them only at night right? And if so after feeding it let's say 8 or 9 PM Should I wake up at 5 or 4 of the morning to feed it? What is a good hour to feed them? I'm trying to know more about this. Since it will be very active during night right? 4.Light bulbs and heat pads: ok the substrate and the heat are what worries me. Talking about the heat I hear I can use a normal bulb of 40 or 100 watts depending but not sure. Also I keep hearing the leopard gecko doesn't need the bulbs do I was wondering then it doesn't matter if I don't give him the Light bulb? I hear is better if I use ceramic Light bulbs, Also I hear the heat pad is very important and that I should use the light bulb and heat pad at the same time till is night where I should turn off the Light bulb and leave the heat pad on, also I hear is better if I just use the light bulb and not the heat pad because the heat pad can overheat the gecko and can be dangerous, also if I keep the heat pad should it be on all night, does the gecko need a red light bulb for the night or not? Also I must clear that I live on Puerto Rico a tropical Island so I fear the gecko may die of overheat in a summer if I'm careless because of the heat pad and light bulb (will not happen just a little worried) also I'm worried of blackouts sometimes we got them and I'm worried that the heat system could be damaged or the gecko dying in the process if the power doesn't come for an entire day could there be a backup plan if this happens ? ( Wich I will not let it happen but still worried) the things that worries me the most is the heat system and what I should use or do (Not going to get a leopard gecko till getting all the info I need I may wait for a little more I want to be 100 sure and not making mistakes Hope you guys can help also your videos are very interesting looking forward more of them and the geckos
