I had to reload the game over and over till it gave me sonic boom so I had the same bug. Now with the second enemy skill I've completed the combat trial twice within the time limit and reloaded my game multiple times but still no enemy skill materia in my inventory

Rebirth is the same for all enemy abilities we found. You just complete the challenge in Chadley's Combat Simulator. You reach a new region. You have to assess enemies to unlock the challenge. Then you complete the challenge and get the Enemy Skill as a reward

i dont think we can. i was hit by the beta while wearing enemy skill and it did nothing to it... i guess the enemy skill materia mechanics in rebirth has a different approach from the ff7 og.

Unfortunately, you don't learn enemy skills in the wild like the original game. They are all learned in the same way. Chadley's Combat Simulator. When you reach a new region, you will need to Assess X species of that region. This unlocks a combat challenge that, once completed, gives you the Enemy Skill. I was really disappointed with this, to be honest. I loved the discovery and exploration of finding tough enemies that use the skill on you. Throwing it all in the Combat Simulator is just meh.

@@WateringDNami i completed the grasslands 100% and the snake was supereasy. I am over powered. I beat titan with his full strange. Question: will we keep materia from nibelheim flashback? You get the aplicattion ( all) materia there and the next time we find that materia is in endgame. I am afraid i miss it couse i skip the first chapter

Not that we've seen. Honestly, most of the skills are meh anyway.

Wouldn't refer as "meh" but I would use hmmm instead

You need to keep using the Enemy Materia in battle so you level it up and unlock new Enemy abilities

@@bigmurda2487 really? That’s odd? I’ve scanned all the enemies in both grasslands and junon as well

@@Nonlifting_breezy when you get the enemy materia it allows you to use an enemy ability, so equip the enemy materia on one character and use the the ability that it has so you can upgrade the Materia and by upgrading the Materia it unlocks the next Combat simulator challenges and new enemy abilities.

@@Nonlifting_breezy I’m on Junon as well and My Enemy Materia is already level 3

@@Nonlifting_breezy So just equip the Enemy skill Materia on one character and upgrade it by using the first enemy skill which I think it’s called “Sonic boom”
