In most home music studios we are working in conditions that aren’t ideal. This video is all about setting up acoustic treatment in your studio. With just a few tools you could get started today and it’s easier than you think.
After investing so much money in speakers, analog gear, and instruments I wish I knew the importance of setting up acoustic treatment earlier on in my studio journey. It’s all Physics and at the end of the day you can’t fight physics all you can do is better understand it to create a studio environment that will work for you, not against you.

You should checkout Jesco from acoustics insider. His course is amazing and he teaches how to build your own panels, speaker placements and also talks about rooms like yours and how to deal with them. It’s a wealth of knowledge. 13:01 this is great advice. I just ordered panels from Music City Acoustics in Nashville and I’m super excited to get everything setup. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve seen a couple of his videos and they are super helpful so i may definitely refer back to his vids when i start making my own panels. So glad to hear the vid was helpful for you and hope your panel install goes smoothly. Setting up treatment can be a bit of trial and error but hopefully you notice the impacts right away i know I did!
