Sabretooth is dead in Logan. You can see that Wolverine is wearing his brother's long coat from X-Men Origins: Wolverine in the scene when Logan is chilling out in a graveyard and drinking whiskey. The symbolism is pretty obvious.

He is dead because in the deleted scene Wolvie tells the boy who asks bout Sabre tooth that "he WAS real." KEY WORD: WAS

I think he is looking for his brother and was still looking in Logan.

How about an "Old Man Creed" movie where Laura and the others are found by Weapon X using Sabertooth but when Creed learns who Laura's dad was, he protects her? Daken can be introduced as a villain and Creed can tell us what happened to the X-Men.

This theory actually makes a lot of sense. In a deleted scene of Logan, one of the x-kids asks where sabretooth is. Logan replies saying that he was experimented on " just like me " and " a lot like you kids and Laura ". So it makes sense he probably died at weapon x. Btw the scene is on the DVD and I'm sure it is online somewhere

In the comics Wolverine had a Katana that nullifies mutant abilities such as healing factor. One thing led to another and he lops off Sabertooth's head. Comics are violent.

Sabretooth's physical change from X-men 1 to X-men Origins seems more like a cosmetic choice to me rather than a change rooted in the plot. If Sabretooth did actually make an appearance in Logan, I'm pretty sure the director will still opt to have Liev Shreiber reprise the role. And I honestly don't think he would look too different in comparison to his Origins look. Overall, I felt that the first X-men movie was trying to portray him a little more closer to his comic book appearance--that of a large hulking beast. Whereas in Origins, there were a number of artistic liberties taken with many of the characters....like Deadpool and, of course, Sabretooth. Since much of the X-men 1-3 timelines have been retconned, I don't think it's safe to assume that the comic book death of Sabretooth is canon. Keep in mind, while Logan and Victor have similar powers in the comic books, Sabretooth has never devolved in the way that Logan has been shown to. Wolverine's power seems to have its own nuance unique to himself--in that without adamantium Wolverine will slowly become more and more feral. Sabretooth's power seems to have an altogether different dynamic. It's been argued during a couple of points in the comics that Sabretooth is actually a good and honest man. However, his mutation infects him with irresistible murderous tendencies. This is primarily why Sabretooth has been able to maintain his high intelligence throughout his many appearances in the comics most of the years. While he has some physical qualities of feral animals, his cunning and wit remain unaffected by his mutation. So to say that Sabretooth is also prone to devolving to a feral animal like Logan may be an erroneous assumption. In the end, despite the similarities, Wolverine and Sabretooth's powers are nonetheless different. In addition, the retcons of Days of Future Past make it impossible to say whether or not the X-men 1-3 movies happened at all. And given that the director initially felt free to add Sabretooth to the story, it's safe to assume that Sabretooth is alive and well during Logan. And I would assume, with no adamantium in his body, Sabretooth would look close to the what he looked like in X-men Origins. Not to mention, the one reference to Sabretooth in the deleted scenes offered no conclusive evidence of his death, I would say it's not so strange to imagine that Sabretooth is alive and well--albeit long estranged from his half brother. An additional argument, the X-men Origins plot takes place lifetimes after the births of both Logan and Victor. They both participated in the Civil War, both World Wars, and the Vietnam War. And in those many decades, Sabretooth was able to pass for human all that time. By the time the main story of Origins takes place, it's past 1975. And Sabretooth still looks quite human. In approximately 130 years and more, Sabretooth has hardly mutated. Thus, I doubt he would look drastically different in the next 100 years that pass.

I always assumed Sabretooth died in the first X-Men. But then when I thought about a character like Sabretooth with regenerative abilities similar to Wolverine, it's silly to think he would die from being kicked off the Statue of Liberty.

I think XMO:W is awful as a film, but Liev Schrieber's performance as Sabretooth was, if inaccurate, awesomely terrifying.

Wolverine and Sabretooth have similar healing factors. This takes care to repair and keep health their bodies. What most people don't realize is their minds are also part of that healing. When they experience massive Psychological trauma that would have devastating PTSD and other problems to the average person the mind protects itself. The reason they forget is not some external factor, but the mind dealing with a Mental Health issue. Yes, Psychological trauma is a real problem and kills many people every year. Someone else experiencing what they do would drive them to suicide in a very short period of time. I have lost loves ones to PTSD and living with them having night terrors and hearing them screaming while fully asleep it is a real disease.

To be honest if I had to choose I thought the xmen version of sabretooth was crap compared to the origins version he just looked dumb in xmen much more formidable in origins

We're going to get a movie called Victor in a few years about an aging Sabretooth and a super-centarian Magneto going on a roadtrip to discover the meaning of family. Tyler Mane and Ian McKellen will get rave reviews.

I wish to see a form of sequel to Logan, called Wolverine: Legacy, with Laura exploring her past and seeks out Sabretooth. Then something happens and etc!

I think they missed a great opportunity. They could've had Sabretooth in Logan, and it would've been a badass send off for the characters. Spoilers below... seriously if you haven't seen the movie don't read on... Okay so in the movie Logan could've gone to Victor for help, to which Victor refuses, However in the Final battle against X24 Victor shows up to help Logan, just before X24 slams him on the tree. Saying either "Nobody kills you but me" or "Brothers lookout for one another". either would be a cool reference to their history. So anyway Logan would still be too wounded to heal and still die, but Victor could watch over the new wave of mutants and eventully mentor them. Which in itself would be a cool refernce to the age of apocolypse comic book series.

So if the "official" comic has hydra and Deadpool's big battle was on a heli-carrier in a junk yard, is it safe to potentially say Hydra and Shield are in the X-Universe? We just don't see them on screen but "Hydra" Bob was in Deadpool... food for thought.

Actually, its possible that Saber Tooth was affected by the same thing that the other mutants were. Even then there is no real way to tell what happened to him.

It would have been AMAZING if V. Creed was in Logan. I picture this...the farm scene: Logan and X-24 and battling it out. X-24 has Logan on the ropes and is about to deal the killing blow, but something stops him. He catches a familiar scent out of the air; something from his cloned past. He scans the scenery and sees eyes, illuminated by the fire, glowing from the dark (like a lion's). Before he can react, Creed (in full feral form) pounces on X-24 and blah blah blah. Sounds kinda dumb but would have been dope on screen, I think.

After listening to the Online Podcast I just have to say that im so sorry to you and Auram for going through such a sad time. I know its not all bad, but I feel so sorry. I got bullied too so hearing someone else talk about it makes me happy. I hope the both of you are better off now then you were at that time. Maybe we can talk about it if we ever meet. I dont know. Sabre tooth was captured by Ryce and he did to Sabre Tooth what Stryker couldn't, namely succeed in putting him through the weapon X program. They initially failed and ended up killing him but then managed to revive him after having fused him with Logans DNA. Enter X24, yes X24 is Sabre Tooth modified and hence why he doesn't have the same healing factor as Logan, but a slower version.

I believe that Saber tooth. Is dead. Probably over the years before Logan . He searched out for Logan and fought him head on. Maybe the scars and markings on Logan's body when in the film. Is a memory of those days before and he had to leave the Country to Mexico.

Remember Days of Future Past...that timeline your working with in your video doesn't exist anymore in Logan

Sabretooth's status is really unknown during Logan, so I'm hoping out hope that maybe an X-23 spin-off film (come on, you all know you want that movie too!) will maybe have Laura and Sabretooth teaming up. Wouldn't it be cool to see a redeeming story-arc of Sabretooth helping Laura out as a way of honoring Wolverine, now that he's gone? We already got a father/daughter story, I'm up for an uncle/niece story.

Victor is one of my favorite characters, he is always on the evil side except when he was in the team with Mimic ( Exiles). He is a beast , litterally and figuratively.

Sabertooth died of neglect.

Even if he was a big part of wolverines life he shouldn't have been in the movie. It was a small film about Logan's inner struggle, and we shouldn't have been reminded of the goofy mess that was Origins.

Do I *think* that the Sabretooth from X1 was actually just Victor Creed's son because who's stopping me from thinking that? No, not genuinely. But is it an explanation that I think would be kind of fun and also means I get to continue in the hope of seeing Liev Schreiber reprise his role as Old Man Victor one day? Absolutely.

Much as I like Stephen Merchant’s Caliban, I think his root was best suited for Sabretooth. With the themes of family in the movie, it’s Charles as the grandfather, Logan as the dad, X-23 as the daughter and Victor as the crazy uncle, with Logan and Victor having come to a very tense, reluctant truce that eventually sees Victor sacrifice himself to save the others.

The evil clone of wolverine looks like it had some sabertooth in it,including moving that tank that was kinda the closest thing to having him there.

My goodness...they never published that comic in my country, and as a result I never knew - until NOW... Sabretooth is my favorite Marvel character, and to learn that he (kind of) had such an excellent and honestly, tragic development like this...? My day is made! Now I must go try and track down that comic.
