This was a good episode. I love Nate and Lawrence, but this zero-Brits episode was equally good and brought the energy. These two are are always welcome back!

piastri has still quite a lot of way to reach lando in driving quality. Especially for race pace. Lando seems to hold on to his tyres quite a lot better.

Question: 'Is this what you expected from the Mercedes team? As far as Gr is concerned ; a resounding 'Yes' as he has been driving beyond his capability and has proved that he is not a team player. As for the LH engine failure? That was a totally unexpected mechanical problem.

The current Max pairing is the best option for RB at the moment as they work well together.

Also do not see Mercedes winning the war with George,. I think Carlos is a hardworking and talented driver, but not sure if he is world champion material. He could become world champion with Redbull if Max leaves in 2015, and it maybe his only chance to get this title!

There is no number 1 driver, that is only determined as the season progresses. If several teams are close to each other and have a better chance of winning the championship due to team orders, that is the number 1 at that moment.

In Australia, GR showed his driving incompetence when he ignored Alonzo's different approach and deliberately barrelled 'full tilt' into the most dangerous sequence of turns on the Australian track...... losing the team valuable points and destroying the car. No matter how you look at GR, after 5 seasons in F1, he has proved that he is definitely not good enough to be an F1 driver as he is not a team .

Mercedes are trying to find the sweet spot since 2022. You can listen to George’s and Lewis‘ interviews through all those three years and you won’t be able to know which season it was. Always the same „The car has potential, we just have to understand it better“. Well, there is clearly something wrong there at Mercedes. Tools might be off, mindset might be off, knowledge might be off. The underlying tragic is that they guys at Mercedes even does not know what of these things is off, actually. Devastating.

The strongest driver pairing 'on track' is, with out doubt, Charles & Carlos driving a Ferrari. In addition, they are , without doubt, the best looking driver combo in F1 history. ha-ha. It's a pity that prestige & money are going to destroy their unique legacy. hmm

The Sainz Sauber atraction I never understood. Sainz is to young to give up his WDC dream just jet. Sainz Mercedes is not likely to happen. Mercedes does not show progression what Red Bull, Ferrari MCL and AMR are showing. Red Bull and AMR are the only realistic options for Sainz.

@@temporalsoliton The 'drama' with both entourages is 9 years ago when both drivers were still somewhat adolecent. Now both dtivers know what they want and their entourages act accordingly. After the death of Dietrich Mateschitz Marko was redundant for the GmbH and the Thai. Max made clear to both parties Marko is important. Both parties like winning very much so the dust settles. Since Max has spoken firmly about the importance of Marko to him the rumoers died down.

@@henkormel5610 Maybe. The entourage factor could change but it's not like they (their group) are much more mature even though the drivers are. It's a factor still in my mind. As much as they try to say the right thing to the press, clear #1 drivers don't like competition within the team and the drama of the outspoken entourages is a headache for Red Bull. Just Jos alone is tiresome.

@@temporalsoliton The entourages speak and act to gain an advantage for the driver they represent. In this light seen it is not wise to take those quotes after being handed down by the press to littetairy. The press thrives on controversy and the entourages use this sometimes. Jos is just like Marko an old grumpy dog and he uses his image to say the things Max can't. Raymond Vermeulen (manager Max) hss spoken privetly with the Thai to (probally) emfisise the importance of Marko for Max. The rumours about that conversation were that Horner had to go. I don't think that's the case. Max wants every main player keeps doing what he or she is doing succesfully.

@@henkormel5610 Exactly why entourages are often detrimental to team goals. We'll see though. It will be interesting to see where Carlos lands. He seems like a good guy and i personally think he'll land at Merc (leaning here) or AM. Have a good weekend.

Daniel Ricciardo is the most charismatic drivers in F1 by far. If his 'character' was forged out of the same steel, he would be 'stainless', unfortunately his 'cosmetic' vanity, besides having cost a lot of money, spread through too many teams for true champions, it should mean that it is time to retire... and consider that remaining in a sport where they are not enough cars to entertain the hiring of true talents, is a rather vulgar egotistical way to exploit your looks.

BS!!! The Mercedes team can easily resolve this problem if they gave LH a better team mate. Why!!! For any F1 team to succeed, they must focus on 1 goal only. "Winning WDC &WCC championships" only. Since joining the Mercedes team, GR has undermined the teams focus and is incapable of changing.
