The Felco Model 8 is a more ergonomic version of the model 2. Notice the angle of the blade and curvature of the handles. The downward angled blade reduces the need to turn your wrist when pruning and the handles offer a more secure grip that fits beautifully into your hand. This really helps with muscle fatigue when you're making lots of cuts.

If you're using secateurs professionally or just very frequently as a super keen gardener then you should consider the model 7. It’s virtually identical to the model 8 but has an ingenious rotating handle.
