Great video. I just picked up the Glock 17 gen 5 0.43 cal replica for training purposes. So far I like it but need to put more rounds through it.

The t4e tests you did are nice i would want to see a full test. I got one and i was definitely surprises how loud it was. Pepperballs are banned to be purchased in california sadly. Most .50 and .68 less lethal if not all are banned in california. Some reason you can only buy the t4e .43 ones though. And if you did get it the seller probably isnt aware its banned in ca and newyork

FYI the Airsoft glocks he showed were both Umerex so if you search up the vfc airsoft Glock then you might not find it. Also the umerex ones can sometimes be labeled elite force the 19x he showed also has a green gas version.

great video! ive got a bunch of elite force/VFC gbb pistols. my favorite is my gen 3 19 because its as close as you can get to a g19 steel/blank. i wanted to tell you im about 95% sure you can switch mag release to left on that pistol. id check it would be be much better with left control for a leftie. ive been considering a t4e but cant to a g17, i have to run a compact pistol like a 19/polymer80 vs a 17. now ive got a half scale umarex ppq, a 1:1 umarex/vfc/e.f. walther ppq m2 i was considering the t4e model . do you know if all the t4e umarex pistols use a similiar gas system. so buying one from the other is just different body but same internals. good infoformation comes from 1st hand expirence . thank you for having comman sense and talking about realities of owning one vs. what you think or read. all video should only be posted about 1st person expirence. cheers

Thank you for the comment. You are right on some of these the mag release can be changed. I definitely feel you with the compact pistols. Regarding the internals of the T4E models I'm not 100% sure so I don't want to tell you anything wrong. One thing you should consider though is how you pierce a new Co2 cartridge. The Glock 17 does it in the most convenient way. Walther models are okay too since the allen key is stored in the grip of the pistol itself. Also not every T4E mag will fit every T4E marker. Umarex did cut some things out to reduce the weight on the T4E Glock for example.

@@RastaFishBallistics it's not written but SAPL GC27 12/50 if you hit a person from 5m distance it can be really dangerous but I think that model you need a license

It depend mainly of the gun if canon is short you get more power with adapter. I have Ekol lady with adapter mesured at 54joules. The best at the moment is the botan

I agree, there definitely are benefits in getting to know a firearm that way. But imo you should invest in sth that is as close to the original as possible. Otherwise one could develop wrong habits and/or expectations.

Was there any particular feature or reason that made you want to chose the gen 3 g17 over the Umarex gen 4 ? I'm looking into get one of these models to hopefully cure some boredom at home in my free time and wanted to ask now that you have had some time with it is the T4E gen 5 worth the price point in terms of build quality and does it take away from the experience at all by being limited to an 8 round mag capacity ?

1. (I own a G19 not G17) But no, not really.... besides a different grip pattern there shouldn't be any noticeable differences on the airsoft models. 2. It depends on how you want to use it. Since I like to shoot targets in my garden, I do prefer my g19 gen.3 because of the bio BBs they gan shoot. I don't want to shoot rubber/aluminum/steel etc into my garden. Also having a magazine capacity that is closer to the original is a plus for me. Even tho the quality of the T4E version is great I think it is a bit overpriced.

IMO the best is the Umarex G19 Gen3 CO2 .177 BB (non-blowback). Blowback is fine if you want some sort of realism, but you also get less shots per CO2 cartridge AND less power...both of which I do NOT want. I want realism, I'll just shoot my real Glocks.

If you would like the gen.4 more because of the finger grooves, then I'd suggest putting a Hogue grip on you T4E G17. It's not the same but it basically gives you finger grooves...
