I'd still choose trailblaze. I get to experience many different things, and the best part is that I can use space anchors in case I get lost and I won't freeze or overheat in certain places.

Whenever I think of the Doctor's of Chaos, I just imagine a bunch of plague doctor looking people sitting around a table discussing what kind of fun family activity they're going to do to cheer up their favourite depressed black hole.

I found it funny that Nihility's faction are literally the aeon's therapist. 😭😭😭

Gonna pick the Nihility path, specifically the Doctors of Chaos faction. Although life is ultimately meaningless doesn't mean that every action that you take does not have any meaning. It depends on how you give meaning to it.

for me, the most interesting path is the Finality. it has seen the end of the world, because it flows through time backwards. that idea breaks all logic we usually have and makes a very unique character

I think there’s a distinction between the faction you choose to follow and the path your individual characteristics align with. For example, Topaz is a part of the IPC, which follows the Preservation. However, her characteristics of tenacity and determination put her on the path of the Hunt. Similar stories with Fu Xuan and Sampo. So while you can pick what faction you’re in based on benefits, you might not be able to pick the path you follow. Unless, you have a single minded focus like Gerard and scream about Preservation in every other sentence.

I’m on team Erudition lore-wise. Nous seems pretty chill to their followers, doesn’t have any enemy Aeons, and I appreciate the belief in knowledge for its own sake. Even if I never end up in the genius society, hanging out at the space station or intelligencia guild seems cool.

For playable paths I would choose Harmony as having a huge family sounds super cool, but for non playable paths I would choose Beauty because traveling around the universe like Argenti sounds awesome.

I'd sign myself in Remembrance. I love taking photos and making nostalgic memories when viewing the photos taken. A light cone is basically just an enchanted picture with notes so I guess making these would be pretty okay for me. Sure, there are also bad situations that needs to be remembered but that's just a part of the job as a historian.

Path of trailblaze is the way to go for me. Travelling the universe on a train with a fun and caring friends seems like a fun way to live

Nihility - the thing about nihility is there's basically two sides to it's concept. 1 - what people usually think of, nothing we do matters so why bother. 2 - and the second interpretation, Nothing in life matters so we're free to create meaning in whatever way we choose. This second point is basically what the doctors of chaos are trying to flip on Ix. Who's current belief is 1. But the fact that the doctors of chaos exist and actually gain power from nihility shows that it's an entirely viable path as well.

Nihility is probably the best, you get much more freedom in your actions and you dont need to "defend it at all costs!!" Like other paths. You can just be, looking at the stars with your fellow pathstriders thinking about reality, and not even being worried about it

If you wanna follow the path of Harmony, asks yourself: - Do you get sick seeing the same face, the same people for centuries? - Are you content to give up selfish desires, wishes and ambitions and live for the benefit of all? - Will you always sing with those around you, live harmoniously and give no thought of survival, fame and standing out? - Will you gave up your wealth and power for the wealth and power of all? There were once an era where humans and gods live together harmoniously. Resources were surplus, people never get bored for idle life, death was light as life was peaceful. And to think Penacony in the teaser is so advanced, Harmony does not means stagnation and no progress. We have a chance to not let conflict and Destruction drive our race forward but to live Harmoniously and build a better world together. With Harmony and Peace, one can even endure immoratality granted by Abundance. The Family will always open its arms to welcome you.

If we're talking about being a Pathstrider, I believe that we don't get to choose, or rather, we don't need to choose. Pathstriders are people who gain power from the path that they follow, which means that you will gain the power that your beliefs and capabilities are associated with. That's why Trailblazers who follow Akivili are still Pathstriders of different paths. And Luocha who wants to kill Yaoshi is on the path of Abundance. Plus, Fu Xuan also follows the path of Preservation, while being a believer of Lan, and geting blessed by Nous. In the end, your path can be pretty much determined by a personality test, and would mean that the path you will get, is the best suited for you. (I'll definitely get Nihility considering I'm lazy af)

Am pretty most players including myself would choose Elation if the other paths are included, some Hi3rd fans will obviously choose the path of Finality.

Given that Clara wants to treat everyone who is kind to her as family while still on the path destruction makes her so interressing. And the path it seems wasn't chosen by Clara but by Svrog and that Clara acts as a safety switch to Svrog to prevent him from destroying everything while both of them don't seem to realized it and just see eachother and treat each other as family. Hook's path on destruction is also interresing because she destroys just to show off or to show who is boss in a dangerous place and nothing more than that. I believe that the path system kinda works in diffirent ways depending on if you are on the edge of that path or complelety in the middle of that path and also depending on the desires of the one that walks that path, I think that he/she can also decide to double dip into two paths at the same time as long as you stay on the edges of it. HSR path system is simple yet suprisigly complex and love it!

Something you did fail to mention about the erudition is how to achieve knowledge itself. Ruan Mei, for example, is one who will go against all ethics in the pursuit of knowledge and with it her goals. That's why in college, when you pursue science, you may be required to take an ethics class because we often fail to realize how moral we are for the pursuit of knowledge. It's an extreme to consider when deciding what path to follow.

I want to choose Erudition, discovering more about the Imaginary power and the origin of everything that comes to be and hopefully not turn evil with that knowledge or something lmao But realistically I would probably be a Trailblazer

If we were talking about game mechanics, I'd say abundance or preservation are the ones that would suit me the best, because I personally like supportive skills. I'd rather have the power to protect the ones I care for than to beat someone else up. If we're talking personality, though, I'd probably line up with nihility. I'm literally too depressed and aware that we're stuck in a cosmic ball of dirt to plan my own life. But then again, I'm rarely motivated to do things for my own sake, meaning that I'd rather do things to help other people instead, which could, again, kick me towards the paths of abundance or preservation... but I'm really _not_ motivated by corporate schticks like the IPC, so all that's left is abundance. Oh, trailblaze sounds interesting, too. Show up, help people in moments of crisis, peace out and move on to the next world. No strings attached, not a care for the fact that nothing really matters much in the grand scheme of things. Would I still be depressed if I lived in an universe where I could simply board the astral express if it ever stopped by my homeplanet? If I were a pathstrider, would I still feel powerless for being just one human between billions? Tougher to answer than I expected. Yes, I'm overthinking this, but only cause I got nothing better to do and the concept is interesting

Had this discussion in our friend group of HSR players. Personally, I'd choose the path of destruction, because I interpret Nanook differently. You see, stagnation, calcification, lethargy or however one chooses to call it, is inherently anti-life. Life aims to procreate, expand and occupy any niche possible. But if things exist for too long they lose their vigor, become stagnant, lazy and set in their ways which probably have become obsolete with time. As a follower of destruction it is your duty the keep the universe virile and life-affirming by making sure that entrenched entities and ways are regularily purged. Like controlled burning old shrub and underwood to enable the growth of fresh plnts and to prevent bigger forest fires. Or in other words: You keep constant low-burn conflict simmering to prevent a big conflict. Compare it historically f.e. to the time before WW1. Basically, for the paths of preservation, harmony and abundance not to become toxic, you need the destruction to counterbalance.

I'd probably do the Path of Beauty because Beauty is subjective and it can take any form that someone considers beautiful. Although one concern about this is what if there is something considered beautiful even if its bad? I'd still follow it though because if you consider good to be beautiful then the opposite shouldn't be.

Hunt will get you enslaved at best and killed at worst. Elation will get you universally hated. Preservation is boring. Destruction will get you killed. Remembrance is boring. Nihility is stupid. Harmony will get you enslaved. Judging from Argenti, all the Knights of Beauty are full of themselves, even if at least Argenti has earned it. The Genius Society people are also full of themselves, other than Sserkal and the robot dude, and maybe Ruan Mei. Yaoshi is hot. I think I know my answer.

I would definitely follow the remembrance: your only enemy is the enigmata and their followers and the path is (inherently) peaceful. I like nostalgia and reliving past experiences and I don't want to miss out on other experiences. 2 things can happen to me: 1. I stay human, I have a lot of memories and I help the universe (assuming that Fuli is a "good" aeon) 2. I become a memokeeper, I have more experiences and I help the universe

I think I’d possibly be a mix of Nihility and Elation. It’s a combo that fits perfectly with my life philosophy.

Destruction could also be linked to revolutions and people looking to change something or abolish a system. I think I would be Harmony with some Nihility-adjacent passives or side-effects. I've been thinking about this ever since the game came out, heh.

I wish there was a path for enlightenment. Not like erudition's, but spiritual peace and enlightenment. I feel like it'll be pretty popular a path in that world. Other than that, I respect the Knights of Beauty and Elation. They go about alone and do what they want, that's cool!

Elation, Erudition or Nihility are the only ones I see myself following! Every other path does not fit me! Nihility because you can guess Erudition if I can luck out on Isekaied genetics to have enough intelligence to male the society, I'm smart asl but rn I'm not that level of genius to compare with fictional geniuses so unless my luck travels there into my genetics I may not be a genius society member Elation: The ideology of living for your own pleasure and displeasure, willing to plot so you can feel the joy in a long term scheme instead of immediately. It'd be fun being an emanator of these except Nihility cus there are no emanators

I'd choose Trailblaze. It's fun to go on an endless journey with the Express crew, helping humans in need and making friends.

if this applies to all (currently) known aeon to exist (even the absorbed ones) i think i'd choose Order (Ena), Remembrance (Fuli), or the Voracity (Ouroboros). i find the concept of "Order" or "Equllibrium" (since ena got absorbed into Ho-oh) fascinating. maybe i can get reality bending powers, capable of "balancing" things.

Being a scientist in Belobog would be awesome,and probably a safe and peaceful life to live,boring or not,so i'd say Preservation

I think im harmony and nihility combination. I like helping people suporting people and bringing the joy but i dont like to get cut tied and sometimes i get drowned and re thinking all that and like that cosmic hole IX. its like im supporting but i also have my own individuality.

I would choose Nihility or Abundance, and here’s why: Nihility: I’d choose this path not for the reason many people would expect. I personally believe there is no reason for our existence. My actions or life may not mean anything in grand scheme of things, but why do they have to? I find comfort in knowing my life is but a droplet in the infinite cosmic ocean. There are no expectations of me. That doesn’t make me sad or gloomy, it actually makes me happy. lol Abundance: I’m a nurturing person by nature so I can see myself gravitating towards this path as well. Taking care of people and making others feel good brings me a lot of happiness. The thought of being able to heal others (via Yaoshi) seems pretty cool to me. Also immortality sounds cool too. lol

Equilibrium is perfect for me. (I like everything balanced). The hunt comes a close second, I'd love being pretty-

I kinda see Trailblazing as a jack of all trades type of path, leaving some room for variety. It's definitely not a boring or serious route to take. But if I could make my own path, I would call it Absurdity. It could be a mix of Nihility and Elation depending on how you look at it. Whether life has meaning or not, it doesn't mean you can't have fun and meaningful moments. What matters is how you feel about it, which kind of has a hint optimism to it.

I could be wrong about this, but surely the idea behind the Erudition is the collection of knowledge, right? To me, it seems more likely that you dont need to be a once in a million genius to walk the path, only someone who seeks to learn and understand, which...honestly sounds more appealing to a deity whos goal is to gather knowledge. Whats more impressive, a genius who understands and can figure out complex things easily, or a humble man who simply wishes to learn and better himself? Regardless of whether thats right or not, the Erudition is probably the one I'd go for. I love learning. Aside from that, probably Nihility since I'm technically a nihilist already, albeit a positive one.

I think depend on your point of view maybe we can twist the concept of a path for example the trailblazer or mc did whenever they gain new power.

I'd like to live with the path of Trailblaze and Preservation at the same time. To be in an adventure while preserving our friends along the way is a kind of life i want to live in. It's not always need to be the adventure going everywhere life, but life itself is already an adventure, and when we make friends cultures and friends, thats what i want to preserve.

For fun I wanna list off a few paths to see where my potential Isekai priorities lie. First I want to play Devil's Advocate for the path of destruction. I think it's very possible that you can elect not to destroy the entire universe and everything in it while following the path, I think most followers of Nanook who aren't in the antimatter legion are just people who like Nanook see a system or thing wrong in the world and wish to eliminate it to make their world an overall better place. After all Hook and Clara two of the purest characters in Star Rail and children as well don't seem capable of destroying a cute tiny robot let alone existence itself (actually maybe we need to check back in on Pitch-Dark Hook the Great for that 😅) As for the path I'd like to be on. I'd say Abundance. I like to heal and aid people just part of who I am. Ik the situation on the Xianzhou can lead people to believe Yaoshi is evil but I honestly think they just have a strong and perhaps misguided love for all life and want to support it like a mother supports their child. Unfortunately mother doesn't always know best. I think one can climb the ranks of the Abundance as it were and come out the other side the same if not better for it. There are different kinds of "long lives" like say the Foxians who just seem to be People+ with no real caveats. The path I'd realistically be on is Preservation. My desire to aid by healing is only surpassed by the urge to ensure no harm comes towards that which I love in the first place. If I was in Star Rail I could honestly see myself as that one guy on the streets of Belobog constantly preaching the good word of Qlipoth in my spare time. Probably work as a Silvermane Guard as well.

Honestly if I was isekai’d into the hsr verse I would either seek the path of the trailblaze or just let fate decide for me.

Me personally: -Hunt (Galaxy Rangers), similar benefits to path of trailblaze but with more freedom. Travel alone, sleep in the wilderness of space, fight for justice, and gain an IPC bounty, sounds like a great way to live a life. -Enigmata (History Fictionologists) Because I personally agree with their Path. The unkown is what pushes living things towards adventure, research, and investigate. If the Erudition and Remembrance remove the unkown, then that spark will be gone. It is up to the followers of Enigmata to protext that unkown.

I'd choose the intelligentsia guild, as long as you are willing to learn and better yourself, you are welcome to join - also they're not as pretentious as the Genius Society.

What about propagation, the path of breeding

Path of destruction. Everyday I always feel I should not exist but at the same time I am afraid of death. I feel like a hypocrite for feeling this. I like the straightforward approach of Destruction. To destroy everything and one’s self. To be free of these emotions.

Being a therapist for an aeon does sound fun though

Knowing myself, Elation - Masked Fools. Specifically, a Masked Fool who tells the truth, regardless of whether or not it hurts people (like the opposite of a History Fictionologist).

Id probably be some fusion of Destruction and Harmony. Gameplay wise i imagine: Skill boosting personal damage stacking with every use up to 3 but loosing it when you stop using skill. Ult advancing forward 1 ally based on said stacks. With 3 stacks - 100% advance forward. But with no stacks advance forward 25% and gain 3 stacks. And talent that at certain condition may give back sp.

I think the best path to be in would be Elation, you do whatever you want with a great power as long as you're mischievous and impartial.

Nihility is my path for sure. People are under the impression that nihilism is a singularly depressing philosophy, but it's not necessarily. While it argues that all of our ambitions, relationships, etc are ultimately meaningless in the grand scale, that doesn't disregard personal short term fulfillment. The path of nihility is in large part taking life at face value and not taking life too seriously. Combat-wise, nihility is often a support on the team, and that's where I belong, watching someone else take the reins of combat themselves.

What path you use in combat probably depends on your mindset while which one you follow is more like your political alignment. This is why there are characters like luchoa who have powers like nihility yet ultimately help others

Preservation or Harmony for me please, with increased chances of becoming part of the Express and Herta's space station crew later on if things work well for me it means i would not have to worry about money, food and more importantly fighting alone in a universe full of dangers also this would later give me a chance to set the foundation of pursuing other goals and as such pursue other paths if necesary!

Tbh i can see myself following either 18 Paths. As my alignment is, Situational Chaotic-Random. Yes, even including the swarm(propagation)

Somewhat late, but there are a few paths that would be interesting. Including the other ones that werent mentioned, i think remembrance would be really interesting, but as they are the halfway between erudition and preservation, that would be my other choices

Would probably end up with Aha, The Elation. It's also kinda nihilistic, but instead of depression you decide to enjoy whatever you can however you can disregarding consequences. "There is no greater meaning or purpose in life, so why not just have fun while you can, since you were given the opportunity"?

Idk but the path of eating(Oroboros, i made the path up) is looking good

I would choose the path of erudition, having a better understanding of the universe around me would help me figure out what I want to do in life as I discover the unknown. I would also be a Trailblazer, beacuse how are you supposed to know how to have fun if you just discover, but not experience? That is the only real thing I want to do with such a knowledge, figure out how to have fun while making the universe a better place.

well if we only get to truely walk 1, trailblaze, but since we're going with the playable(im going to include the sim universe ones, but NOT propogation) ones, probably alongside the benifets of trailblaze, id go for elation tbh.

If I had to choose it would be three way tie between abundance, preservation and beauty. I would just follow the three of them as they rarely go against each other.

i`d choose the abundance- the death of the world are meant to be prevented and the curse of mindless immortality are the punishment that will be cast upon the sinners Having immortality will numb your mind for the better and guide the people by your actions and not the unjust feelings of the unwise

the problem is taking a path that already have an aeon that is still much alive or not fully confirm dead is not worth it if you aiming to reach aeon level of power as your end goal, meaning you want to walk to end of the path. The reason why is very simple if you understand how aeon and path work, you will know each path is unique so there can only be 1 aeon of that path at any given time and by walking on same path of a currently alive/half alive aeon, you r basically walking into a dead end. While yes it is possible for you to somehow replace the aeon of the path you chosen and become the new aeon of it but that would be very much impossible unless the aeon want to die and let you do so. It is so difficult and so impossible that you would have a better chance of becoming an aeon of a new path or a currently empty path than trying to kill an aeon and replacing them i would also like to add that not all path name really represent what the path true core nature and ideology of it is and it is more complex than you think, it is not a straight forward as you said in the video, why is important to understand path true nature coz it will let you know what kind of power the aeon of that path have and to what extend can they do

I would most likely take The Erudition path. I don't need to be a genius since joining the Intelligensia Guild developing technology and discussing weird theories as well as finding something interesting to research sounds like a place I would actually enjoy.

Beauty, for me, is the best. I loooove eye candy, be it other faction members, relics or scenery.

I will be just a path strider, i like and hate them all at the same time, but avoid harmony because sheesh the family faction is something else and the aeon themselves is abit a creepy.

The Trailblaze sounds like a cool path and it would be an interesting choice. Yet i think i would be either on the Destruction or Harmony path. I don't want to destroy the universe, destroying limits or norms or just hindrances is also Destruction. Qnd Harmony is very good to achieve, harmonizibg your body and balancing everything. Mayve even a bit Preservation, preservibg ancient items and structures an example and protect people that matter.

I would like to follow erudition, perhaps a bit because of the specific idea of getting isekai'd into the game. I have questions the game can never answer as a game. the space station is literally just the scp foundation I love it. physics have got to make a little more sense in a video game though I do know that the hsr multiverse employs real quantum physics. I'm not a fan of quantum physics but that could just be from me not getting around to learning it in the right order. also I read wiki for fun

If I do get into this world, I will pick the path of preservation is safer, and makes more sense than the other path but if I have learned more about the path of abundance, I will pick that for learning how to heal and not to prolong my life or other

Personally from the playable paths,the harmony and preservation sound the safest. However,2 paths which are unplayable but completely possible for the average person is the path of elation which characters have been shown to gain the ability to fool others for the sake of their own enjoyment(such as sparkle's hallucinations and sampo presence in every planet) or the path of remembrance where you get to literally control others memories and go through walls,their only goal is to collect memories. So you would live your life, happily.

Call me basic, but the Trailblaze would be my preferred path because it offers the most freedom to its followers.

My problem is my indecisiveness. I dont know how well ill do. I feel like Akiaveli or the Trailblaze speeks the most to me because for me I like to wonder. I follow my wim's and do what I want. Im definitely no hero though like how March sees things. I dont want to save everyone but I also dont want to kill anything. However the Trailblazing path isn't really playable... I think personally wise I'd probably be Harmony, or Erodtion as despite being more likely to follow my wims I also like exploring and being in nature. I feel like I'd be out exploring nature and observing animals. Although I definitely dont think i'll be an outlier of any faction. Im just a space zoologist bro!

If I could CHOOSE my Path? Trailbalze. No question. Even if I died i the endeavour, just being able to see the galaxy and maybe make a difference, even a tiny insignificant one in the grand scheme of things, would satisfy me.

Not all thé hunt followers are located in the xiaozho , look AT thé Galaxy rangers they actually follow thé patch of thé hunt aswell , they are a rightfull faction ans thier main goal focus On helping peoples. So i think thé best path on m'y point of view IS thé hunt

Choosing the Aeon is mostly for beliefs as they're seen as deities especially since the aeons aren't exclusive giving their blessings of their respective paths. The Fu Xuan companion mission confirms that Nous gave her preservation blessing and not Lan or the Amber Lord. This in mind I'll pick preservation or elation.
