Which Path Should You Choose.. If You Were Isekaid [Part 2] | Honkai Star Rail Lore

Imagine if for a second you were isekaid into the world of honkai star rail, which of the 7 main paths would be beneficial to you? Well I sort of answered this question in one of my other videos but the world of star rail is filled with a whole plethora of other choices, because of that ill talk about 5 more paths in this one and see if any of them are better than than the original 7
In this video were going to explore these additional paths and determine which path should you choose, if you were isekaid into star rails universe Part 2.
Some part of this video comes from the actual lore while others may be speculation on my part as we currently do not know the full story. As such take it with a grain of salt as the point of this video is just a deeper dive into Honkai Star Rail lore.

The downside of the Trailblaze is you have to be constantly on the move. You live on the Express, but that means you have to give up whatever other home you had. You'll meet new friends along the way, but you'd also have to leave your existing loved ones behind.

The express constantly goes back to Herta's Space Station and other worlds they've been to tho, so nothing stops you from asking to go back to your home world every once in a while, spend some time there to catch up with friends, and then leave for the stars again Not to mention, Baiheng was also a Nameless despite never even meeting the Astral Express. She traveled to thousands of star systems, but she always went back home again after the fact, so it's not that much of a downside, if at all. Not to mention you can text people between worlds, sent pictures, probably even call them if you feel like it

If you are getting isekai'd into Star Rail, you probably won't have a home to begin with, at least not until you join one of the factions

@@Cyber_Reelthe term Isekai'd means your back to being a baby with the current knowledge of the last life in another world.so you probably have a home to begin unless your parents left and that's why you don't have a home. (Didn't mean you ,I mean like that person who got Isekai'd lol)

@@ZeroNishami-kunThat's Tensei (Reincarnation), Isekai means "Another World"/Different world, an Isekai Tensei means Different World Reincarnation ie you are reincarnated in another world

Thats true, though you could always take a break from trailblazing and settle down anywhere the train decides to stop and make a life there. If im not mistaken after akivili died there were some nameless who decided to settle on different planets, I think one of them were on the herta space station though I could be misremembering. In any case the constant and somewhat nomadic life can be a downside

Another upside to the path of the Trailblaze: its pathstriders can adapt more easily to extreme environments like extreme cold and, if what March said during the start of the Xianzhou story is true, they can go for days without sleep, only when they do sleep they need to compensate for it, which seems like a nice deal. I'd personally go for this one or Rememberance that will probably be in the next video

If im not mistaken their ability to adapt is because of the path itself that protects them in extreme environments but im not sure if thats something specific to the trailblaze or any pathstrider can do that. It would be an interesting or unique trait for the trailblaze though given they travel a lot

@@Maevix3142 At the very least Dan Heng attributes it to that specific path at the start of the Jarilo-VI story, if TB says it doesn't feel that cold "Well the Trailblaze Path grant us faint power. It allows us to better adapt to harsh environments."

@@LupeFTW tbf, that is likely entirely because it is still the trailblaze they are using since, obv, they're the nameless. If the MC was picked up by any faction then it Trailblaze would likely be replaced by other paths

On the one hand, the 'You're not a main character, you're an average joe' clarification is perfectly fair. But on the other hand, we know that if your thoughts and actions align enough with a set path, you'll start actively drawing power from that path which serves to enhance you. Merely following the Path of Erudition for example would probably make you at least a little bit smarter, and the insane military might the Xianzhou has is at least partially derived from their warriors being on the Path of the Hunt. I only bring this up to say that some of the more 'challenging' paths would at the same time, potentially make you more equipped to handle those challenges, which is some food for thought.

The interesting point being overlooked imo, is that every path can have its own subjective interpretation. The path of Destruction could be seen as annihilating worlds or it could mean eliminating viruses and disease. There is a variety of interpretation where the ruling aeon is perhaps the only downside as often far removed from mortal interests their dictating influence can be as much an obstacle as those of other paths. As such paths without a ruling Aeon might be a worthwhile consideration.

I recall mentioning this somewhere in another video that the paths themselves can be intepreted in a lot of different ways and I can totally see destruction covering things like destruction of all evil for example. That said some of the Aeons seem to only follow a very specific direction or intepretation of their path. Nanook for example only concerns itself (based on what were told and ingame description) with destroying the universe since it personally thinks its a mistake despite destruction able to accomodate different views. Its very probable that the aeons arise from very strong thoughts that resonate with a particular path but not the entire path so akivili may have set out searching for the edges of the universe and became aeon of the trailblaze but the next aeon of trailblaze could ascend out of a desire to connect as many people as possible since both ideas fit within the path of trailblaze but are individually different. If that makes sense 😁

@@Maevix3142 it does make sense. In fact the Equilibrium seems to suggest the Aeons are not 100% archetypal but instead quite locked obsessively on their own agenda. As they rebalance the universe its Fate continues to unfold as does their outcomes. With new Aeons arising and old ones fading such rebalancing seems to involve even clusters of galaxies being swallowed up. No wonder the Genius Society devotes so much to their study.

I think that someone who goes far enough on a path that's already lost irs aeon just gets to replace them, but i think in terms of like. your take on \ understanding of a path, you might end up creating a new path

If Beauty at least in part includes the pursuit of moral excellence (i.e. beauty of spirit/character), I'd be inclined to follow that path. Otherwise, Trailblaze or Erudition appeal to me.

Beauty seems to be highly subjective to the person so I wouldnt be surprised if it included some form of that falling under its umbrella of what could be considered beautiful

I think an interesting concept for the followers of the Voracity could be the unending hunger to hoard or the hunger to expand to become more wealthy and powerful which on second thought sounds a lot like the IPC. For me I’d say Voracity under the assumption that the Path can be interpreted to be something other than unadulterated hunger for food.

I did consider that though the problem is there arent any factions introduced for voracity that acted in those ways, it does make sense though hunger for something can go beyond just base needs so perhaps given enough time maybe such factions would exist. What I find interesting about this idea is that I bet some in the IPC would fall in this category for sure

In the Vidyhara trailer, it vaguely stated what Long discovered about the Permanence of the Universe. The universe is ever changing, so the Permanence of the universe is that there is nothing set in stone, the truth that will never change. This is my Path, as I don't believe there is a fixed answer to life, as the answer always changes.

Right now I just curious that if Aha meet Noux and he tell Noux that they're just a character in the game and this universe is just a game setting, I really want to know how Noux will react. LOL Joke aside maybe why Noux stop finding the answer of the universe was because of Aha tell something to him

Nous probably already knows, or at least considers it as a likely possibility with a generally high likelihood of truth. However, Nous is far too careful to just decide on that fact without exhaustive study. Main downside of Nous really

Based on my personality, I will choose to follow the path of preservation. I don't like moving or condition that change so often. I am cancer and introverted. I focused more on people that I love and valued them highly.

From what we have seen in game the paths in star rail feels like religion You can choose what path you want to follow (the mc at the start of the game go with the nameless and follow the trailblaze) or you can be born into it (im sure the majority of the people of the xianzhou follow the hunt because everyone on the xianzhou did) You can choose to dedicated yourself on pursueing the path or just follow the path just because (compare the IPC who always brag about following the preservation to the people on jarilo VI who follow the preservation but isnt as zealot as the IPC) People on the same path can have different interpretation of their path (the genius society and the intelegentia guild both follow the erudition but have different philosophy and view on what erudition mean) You can also not follow any path (as far as we can tell the stelaron hunter didnt follow a specific path)

I am definitely down to join the path of the Trailblaze even tho I am more of a shut in, just because if i was to get isekaid into the honkai star rail world I feel like just going on that journey with the crew would be so fun even if the end of that journey leads us to defeat the aeon of destruction which is pretty scary but if overall it being just a fun group of people exploring the universe I am down

Elation, or Harmony. I vibe well with these two paths based on my personality. Remembrance would be a safety third if the former two don't work out. Also, Elation doesn't have to be all about EXTREME fun. You can find fun in OTHER forms that doesn't involve reckless endangerment. After all, I don't think Aha would be foolish enough to risk endangering his followers if it meant hindering their ability to carry out his antics. Harmony, and Remembrance are straightforward. Live life out in peace, or leave a mark to be remembered by.

For me I think I will follow the path of beauty cause I do like arts and craft and decorating as person i like to see the beauty in things I experience so it is very subjective but I do think I will follow that path BUT if we are talking about Idrilla gone missing and I don't really want to search for Idrilla I will actually be Nihillity cause I do tends to have understanding to the thesis, ideology and theory of Nihilism. I do really like the quote of Franz Kafka who has a lot of Nihilistic view and theory but also does quote such words like : "Youth is happy because it has the capability to see beauty. Anyone who is able to see beauty never grows old" this quote I think really does resonate with me as a person

I would follow the paths of Destruction (because I've somehow would find away to break some got my hands on in my younger years but it would be more that the Aeon would notice that than me choosing that), Harmony (because of my able to see other side and generally being the one that brings friends together this would be the path that I would actively choose), and Trail blades (because I have a love for adventurer and deeply value friendships and ever making when I can so I would naturally follow this path)

To be honest being powerful in the current can be solved in some time, people always stay on the express, and you literally have a guy with decades of experience of combat, that can make anything it understands , and different planets with different combat styles and strong people that normally consider you either heroes if a crisis happen or legends if it's a planet with interestelar connections Considering how adventurous in the nameless take nearly a week, time between adventures isn't a problem, you can only be fodder if you decide to be lazy for the rest of your adventures.

I would follow the Path of The Trailblaze and since you can follow a second path based on how March, Dan Heng, Himeko and so on all all Trailblazers yet follow a second path alonhside it. With that said, the second path I would tread would be preservation.

Beauty is quite a good path to follow, you see the beauty of the universe, having a positive look on life, and you search for the most beautiful god of all, who might reward you. Oh and obviously, it also means self-love and self-care so you might be as healthy, strong and beautiful as Argenti which is a good way to live.

In my opinion Perseverance and permanence are similar. The difference is ... Lets say there is a vase. Perseverance will try to make sure it won't break. Permanence will make sure that even if it breaks a new one will take its place.

@@ieatwalnut9088 There is not such thing as "safe" Path, of all them are equally dangerous, even if there's no battle involded. And their Aeons that represent those ideals are basically cosmic eldritch beings that don't care about humanity, so there's no point in focusing about something that won't bat an eye at your life. Xipe is a hive mind that wants to erase people's indivualities. Lan kills his own followers without a care and barely any progress in chasing his down his prey. Nous is endless questioning but never answers. Terminus knows hundress of endings that cannot be changed even you have a strong will to change it.

@@Maevix3142 Would that sounds interesing, even if I created a new Path and Ideology, I would still refuse Aeonhood. Because it hinted that Aeons cannot function outside the concepts and their will is bound to the Astral Plane.
