Select 4 cup preset water amount, set quart jar in area then you won’t need to stand there pushing glass in to fill. Empty repeat about 8 times to get clear water.
This model does not have a serviceable air filter that I am aware of. Check your model number on Whirlpool's website to verify if yours has one: www.whirlpool.com/services/manuals.html
Do you know how to reset just the "order filter" alarm? Not time to change the filter yet, but it keeps beeping to order new filters and I want to turn off just that setting
Very odd. You can turn off the water to the house or move the fridge out to shut off the supply to the fridge. If you shut off the main, drain some of the water out at a nearby faucet so less water will come out of the filter housing. Shutting off the water is your best bet.
I've done this a bunch of times. This time it's leaking where the filter connects to the assembly. I can't remember if it's supposed to snap in when I turn it or not. Any ideas?
It just rotates in but I’m guess there’s an oring that seals the connection between the two so I’d check to see if there is a oring on the fridge or inside the filter. I’ll check when I get home too.
@@learnsavediyI replaced the filter with the bypass plug to make sure the issue wasn't the fridge. No leaks. I ordered two new filters to see if that fixed the issue. There aren't any O-rings on these filters, just on the fridge. .
