Whirlpool washer door won't open!

Thank you this literally looks like exactly like mine. Solution is remove power till red led power lock light turns off then plug it in and it’s good to go. Thanks for your help!😝

I had this issue today. Had to take off the top cover/ lid then pull the little plastic manual door open. It didn't help to unplug it even over night. Still kept door locked and yet flashing light for door locked. I found a comment on another video that told me about the release pull plastic part directly behind the door handle one you get the top off. Saved me from clashing m calling a tech.

Well I looked up videos cause my washer would stop and drain and not open the door and read error and make the beeping noise every so often. I learned in video you can open the top but I didn’t do that just yet because it didn’t make sense to me when the washer is new the manufacturer is not gonna expect you to open if there’s a little problem, I will resort to that if desperate to take clothes out if nothing else works. But then I learned you can turn unplug machine for a while then plug in and it will let you open door. Did they but I continued to have locking issues afterward. Then I learned about factory reset by pressing buttons 123 123 123 which helped. But my problem is that it continues to stop and remain locked constantly more so than often. I saw on another video about tube drainage problems and the reason it locks is because it senses drainage problem, something obstructing the drainage tube and therefore locks to prevent reuse until that problem is fixed and of course to prevent water from spilling out when door is opened if it stopped mid way during cycle and didn’t drain properly. Makes sense and figured this is the problem that continues to lock my washer and will now be fixed once I clean it. Was happy however, I checked my tubes and everything is clean and perfectly fine! So HOW THE HELL am I left to wash with this new laundry when it continues to lock and stop during spin and drain cycle?!? 😭

Hi just wanted to share a potential fix that most people and repair people could look past I was getting constant errors during the drain or trying to spin. Tried to reset and it would work and then not work. After getting ready to call a repair person, I notice that the latch was a little loose on the door. I closed it while watching how it lined up where the latch goes into, and it was way off center. The latch mount has the ability to slide back and forth to line up (need square bit) I loosened it and realigned the latch to be centered and now on my 4th load without a single shut down with the "E1" "F3" error codes flashing back and forth.

What do you do if your washer says f03 e01 and the door is locked and can't get to unlocked??????😥😥😫😫😭😭😡😡 please tell if you know

Left mine unplugged all night...plugged it back in...and the door looked light started flashing and that is it..nothing else worked, no power on button...no buttons work...just the door light locked is flashing.

I did that disconnect the power 3 times nothing happens

I have the same model of washer. When I started the washing cycle. The washer door just locked and unlocked going back and forth for 3 or 4 times and then finally locked and continue the cycle. Jus wondering how can I fix it?

I think the ok’d washers n dryers are much better they’ve lasted 20 to 30 years easy usually one went they sell the other one because the wife wants a matching pair n that used one would go another ten years all this new computerized bs is nothing but problems these new ones are not making it anywhere near a third or half of the amount of time the old ones did

I have this machine, purchased it new. Worst mistake. This worked the first few times my machine locked but now it happe s all the time and I am now going to a laundry mat. If you haven't purchased this machine, dont!!!!

This doesn't solve.the problem. It's doing it for a REASON. It's like if the check engine light goes off you're telling us to reset the code but the prom is still there.
