Interesting looking machine now White's has a machine that can do all even in shallow water I'm curious on the price will it give the AT pro a run for the money ?
Well I know after using 4 ATpro's that they could use some upgrades. For instance a larger screen with big numbers, backlight, adjustable tones and volume control to name a few. The MXS has these features and more. It the ATpro had these extra features it would be the bomb but it doesn't. Garrett will be answering back with their upgraded version I suspect.
It's about time! No surprise as they have seen the success of the ATPro. A quick check of the specs showed it's a single frequency not sure at what MHz...maybe 14 like the rest of the MX series. At 4lbs that's not bad too, so long as that's all...no more than that with batteries. I've only found the one single frequency detector to be up to my standards on a wet salt beach (for versatility) and it's my Turkish made unit. The MX sport connectors will need O ring sealing for headphones and coils of course. If it has the quick recovery and a usable range of iron disc / adjustment that would be competitive. I hope it's a depth competitive relic machine. I need to get my hands on one to test when they become available. I'm wary of being an early adopter as a year later improvements based on field use (and failures) are often addressed or an enhanced unit is released....aka a "pro" version with a couple advanced features absent from the first iteration. Let's see when it's released how it performs.
Awesome job on the videos and info on the MX Sport! I wish you could make a video about the MX Sport's 20 TONE ID capability/demonstration! (include things like Common Clad coins, various Silver Coins, Gold Rings, & iron, etc.) Thanks White's!
Never swung a Whites detector before, but this one looks intriguing to say the least. From what I have gathered, it's packed with features exceeding the AT PRO and only just North of it in price. I'm seriously considering it!
Cool machine! I hope this is a better machine than the Garrett AT Pro. Whites does a much better job with the craftsman ship of their detectors. Built tough and not junk.
Is this meant to replace the MXT? As in go deeper, better target separation, recovery speed, etc? I am sad to see no manual settings knobs on this model considering it bears the MXT name.
Game changer? Unless it is multifrequency, has auto EMI cancellation, wireless headphones, and has fast separation so a dime can be heard next to a large iron spike, then White's does not even uno what the game is.
