When she said: “People ask, ‘What are you going to do when hip-hop goes out of style?’ I say, ‘Hip-hop‘s in here, hip-hop is a style... ...So it can go out.’”, that hurt
@@musicsweet2833 Yeah you’re right, she said “can’t”. As in like, hip hop is right here, in your heart, so it can never die... or go out (of style). Her cringe inducing almost painful earnestness makes her the weirdest combination of embarrassing and lovable. But, such is the nature of being a mom I suppose?
OMG!!!! Bobs Burgers did a show where he took a dance class to impress Linda and THIS LADY had to have been what inspired the episode! Hilarious parody 😝 “And that’s Hip Hop”
Lmaoo I can’t my stomach hurts right now. I’m just imagining all the white people looking at her back then like man she knows her stuff and they say white people can’t dance you go girl
This lady is 1000% the inspiration behind that bobs burgers episode when bob takes dance lessons and the lady’s explanation for everything is “CUZ THATS HOP HOP!” Lol love it
I bet this is how everyone of THEM "Professor of African-American Studies" started out EDIT: Tbh I wasn't sure if anyone would get it but over 777 of y'all? Lol wow thanks! EDIT EDIT: 1.2k? See now y'all are just tripping at this point. Again wow thanks!
@@lifeisthedash Wouldn’t say she’s fake she just realized how crazy she was looking. 😂 Unless you’re said she was faking it I don’t see a problem. People grow out of stuff all the time.
Kudos to this chick for staying true to herself & teaching hip hop to her community & sharing the love. Now providing some much needed entertainment during lockdown. 💖
“People always ask me what are you going to do when hip hop goes out? Hip hop is an attitude- it’s right here it’s how you it’s a style so it can’t go out”
They go from “don’t know” to study and analyze what you “do know” so eventually they can learn what you “know” and not give you proper credit while acting like they “knew” all along.
@@superiorpanda6449I knew the comments would be lit but yours was so spot on and I wasn't ready...I really needed that laugh. It's so fitting...her name is Dena Rizzo. She's always at dance demos...tries to dance and it's always terrible and everyone encourages her. Your comment is everyone's inside thoughts 🙃🤣
That video is probably about 30 years old. I had a teacher AT SCHOOL GYM CLASS who taught us “hip hop dance” and it was exactly like this. It was super cringe then, too, in the mid 90’s, in the eyes of us 100% white students.
Oh lordt lol. Well thats still better than my gym teacher in the 90s who made us do the YMCA 😅😂. I'm just now realizing homie took the easy way out lol
That jacket removal pushed me over the edge!! And the fact that a hip-hop dance learning app was the intro ad...featuring no persons of darker melanin shade....made this even better! Too funny!
"I give them the BAH! They look at me like I'm crazy but then they know this right here is me" said the lady trying to convince everyone she's down with the hip hop culture. Then she gives them the peace out🤣🥴😬
WHEN SHE SAID "I'm into points alot but there not your average points" I can never get past tht part of the video, like what does Hip-hop have to do with points. LMAO!
Most people dont relize those were different times. Alot of her moves are from late 80s. And during that time she was super progressive in her thoughts.
About four years ago when my husband and I were dating, I did this same thing to that same "hip-hop" video😂 I kept it on private though and sent it to him. I mean, we're married so I'm sure that's what sealed the deal😄
Now I finally get Hip Hop. I can now stop doing the Carlton and start looking fly when I go to the clubs. Thank you middle age looking white lady. Thank you for your hip hop attitude and for keeping it real.
