My father and mother left London and lived in Kharagpur till they died. My mother was from County Kerry Ireland, and she met my father in London in 1950. I am their son, and now have been living in liveing in India for 15 years.
My Aunt made this her last stop in India where she lived with her five dogs... before leaving for Paradise... Go further to Kolar Gold Fields and my Great Grandfather lived with his ten children... so remote in those days he learned how to mend and make shoes for the family... I have been away from India for over fift years but I miss it .. and remember the times as it was yesterday....
I remember this aunty with her dogs and she always travels by cycle. My home was near to her house. We use to go for the Whitefield bus stop passing through her house. She was staying in borewell road..... She was so cute and energetic lady.... Her house surroundings was full of greenary and awesome..... Love this aunty...... Thanks for such a beautiful memories.......

Very very very strange 03:42 - the black and white photo with the bus, has 44 number written on it. This is still a route from Howrah to Baguihati (Calcutta) along with a tram which is behind the bus. Bangalore - Karnataka had never witnessed a Tram in 100 years. Only Calcutta West Bengal.
