I am near Downey, CA (605 and 5 fwys). Best city for Chinese food is Monterey Park and best city for Vietnamese is Westminster. If you have not visit those cities, do it when you are here.

Yes, I've been through Monterrey when I drive. When I ride, we tend to stay on the quiet twisties roads so smaller towns
