I wonder that same question myself because it’s like the same question about who is the mother of Goofy’s son Max and I get the impression that the 2017 Della wasn’t married and seeing the family tree that the dad looks like he was in the military due to his haircut style but if that was the case then maybe that’s why they are afraid of going to military school in the original Ducktales series episode til nephews do you part where the boys are threatened to go there and Webby goes to finishing school to be a snobby person, but I think that the dad is most likely a deadbeat which that could explain a lot as to why Donald sent them to live with Scrooge

Oh, I remember that episode. It was the one with Scrooge and his girlfriend who only wanted him for the money, right? I didn't remember that detail, though, good point, but I think that all kids would be afraid of military school. However, we can't assume that the father just left because in Al Taliaferro's story, Della and the father seemed to be together. In her letter she said that she had to sent the nephews to Donald because their father had an accident, meaning that their father was there at least for the first few years of their lives before he went to the hospital because of them. Maybe he couldn't stand his kids anymore because of how naughty they were and just left

I remember that episode too. Millionaire or Milly for short was wealthy in her own right. She only wanted to marry Scrooge for his money. Had she been successful in her plans she would've sent the nephews to military school, Webby to finishing school, and she would've fired Duckworth and Mrs. Beakley. The episode ended where Scrooge figured out Milly's true intentions, gets shot at by Goldie, his old girlfriend, while Milly chases after Glomgold after learning he is the second richest duck in Duckburg.

Well rumor on the street is Donald's sister Della married Daisy's brother.

Yes, I actually mentioned that rumor in the part where I'm talking about the father. However, I don't think that's likely. Huey, Dewey and Louie often call Daisy "aunt" and that's how this rumor started. But I think that they refer to her as their aunt just because she's Donald's fiance which makes her their step-aunt

Daisy is not related to the boys by blood. I'm not sure why they call her "Aunt Daisy" despite that she isn't married to Donald.

I was about to say that he was never created or used by Barks and that's why Rosa didn't use him in his official family tree, but now that I think about it, Fethry wasn't used by Barks either. I think he's just one of those cousins of Donald who we don't get to see so often so people don't really care about them. However, I'll ask a few Disney comics experts I know and let you know if I find out anything
