Hmm... Isn’t there a chance Dell was made by Gulliver? He clearly has some technical knowledge from reassembling his communicator and once owned a literal UFO, but is also a sailor, explaining the boat inspiration.

My theory is that dell was made to rival the other bots in the market. His smooth design was for greater appeal, and his more complex brain required more air holes his unique features is why he remembers his “childhood” and can be “sick”

Now that Cephalobot has been released it supports the theory that the robot villagers were created by the canonical aliens to watch us. Because Cephalobot’s house is literally a space ship. And why would Cephalobot have space ship equipment unless he comes from a community of people who are in space.

here me out, what if the players father was the one to make the robot villagers. You rarely ever hear from the player's father while the players mother writes to you pretty regularly. The reason to the fathers lack of letters might be because he works in a medical lab, trying to work on creating robotic bodies for villagers whose organic bodies began failing. this would explain why the robot villagers can have emotions and memories. As for bow and meow, maybe they were also part of the experiment, just at a different stage of it. They might have been created as androids, to help those who were born with mental issues to teach them how to properly show emotions and communicate. The reason they are gone might be because they were unstable, and needed further testing. ribbot and sprocket look more mechanic than dell because they were early models for this emergency method of keeping the dying alive. dell was reborn in his robot form at a later time, and might have had more time before he needed the robotic body. The robot villagers can get sick, because they most likely get bacteria and stuff in their robotic bodies that their still organic minds process as being ill. the medicine is used by their body to create internal heat to kill the bacteria. the vents/windows on dell might just be solar panel modules to gain excess energy. Since the robot villagers sleep, im guessing they have some sort of internal battery that recharges by the body being shut off and all food consumed during that day gets turned into power. the openings on the chests of sprocket and ribbot might be in case they need repair.

Theory: Raddle is the brother of Ribbot. If I had to guess the story, here’s what I think happened; Raddle and Ribbot (Before he was a robot) had grown up together as children. But since Raddle is a Yellow-Banded poison dart frog , he had to stay away from Ribbot to make sure he was safe and didn’t put him into danger (which is why he probably wears a mask). But one day, Ribbot came too close to Raddle, and ended up dying from the poison. Upset, and blaming himself for Ribbots death, he had dissected Ribbot’s brain and preserved it. Then, he asked for someone to make a robotic body for Ribbot. Once it was finished, Raddle had put Ribbot’s brain into the robotic new body Ribbot had gained. Now, Raddle is studying for a vaccine/medicine to make sure nobody else dies from his poison I know the theory is REALLY over the top and really stupid. When you shook the robot villagers there seemed to be a unique rattle for all three of them, there might have been a rattle because there was something inside the robot villagers that was loose! (Screws, Frames, Broken peices, etc.) It could be anything!

I think Dell being an airplane might’ve come from the fact his “air holes” look like airplane windows and his color scheme is similar to many airlines, like Southwest

1. I think Ribbot may actually run on protein powder (considering he’s a jock) but the switch on his back is for the emergency power switch so he doesn’t run out of power nearly as often. 2. The slot is where the batteries are put and the switch is to turn him on. 3.They could even be motion detected. 4. Del seems to have a more modern design, so either he has a different maker or he was intended to be made much later. 5. I think -just like Five Nights at Freddy’s- the robots/animatronics could be possessed by the souls of children and they don’t have memories of dying or having their souls trapped but they do have memories of their families. Prediction: The new horizons dlc they were gonna release was actually an animal crossing story mode explaining all the lore so far seen in the game and the robot villagers are going to be mass produced henchmen for the antagonist to use

8:31 honestly, I really like this theory, but I think I can just a little bit to it My theory is that they were programmed with a learning AI. One that can learn speech patterns, remember things, apply newfound knowledge etc. Basically the RU-vid ad bot, but not stupid XD. So what if they had an advanced version of said AI that tries as hard as possible to behave humanly? So much so that it's programmed to refer to things like childhood, Familly, sicknesses etc to replace words like creators or "bugs" and errors... But anyway that's just my 2 cents

I have Sprocket on my island. I found it strange he always talked about his “muscles”. But eventually I just started to think he doesn’t know he’s a robot and thinks he’s a normal Ostrich. I find that to be a far funnier theory.

I still stand-by the belief that Del is actually a cyborg, an organic being at the core, with secret Imperial Japanese Navy implants after being injured in the war. He may have just been an ordinary seaman, that was seriously injured when his ship was sunk, and was selected for testing battle implants by IJN leadership. For one, his body shows only minimal mechanical aspects, in contrast with Ribbot and Sprockett. He has less joints, and no panels, with the joints he has being where he might have lost body parts in the war and had implants attached. Every other joint looks attached organically, including his jaw, and the base of his tail and his legs (and possibly his arms). The inside of his mouth also looks organic. The vents on his back and face could be something, but they could also just be a scale pattern. As I previously mentioned in regard to his personality, he is a cranky villager, which are basically old men. What could especially make him cranky is having to live with mechanical implants for decades, especially if they are the same ones from the 1940s. Previously being a sailor is also supported by fire-fighting (which ALL sailors learn), his nautical appearance, his picture, and, recently, I have encountered dialogue where he talks about sailing.

In the 2.0 update, there's a new robot villager, Cephalobot. I thought of a theory about who made him because of Petri, who is a scientist and also one of the new villagers added in the update. So my theory is that Petri made Cephalobot for some reason. Maybe he'll be a rival to Ribbot because both of them have the same looks.

Theory: Del is the creator of Sprocket and Ribbot my reasoning for this is, Del was a normal villager and he got into robotics with his sibling and or friend. They both wanted to improve the world from entertainment and space travel. After many failed attempts 2 survived model (4 and 59) After a while they were in their lab and while Del's friend was making a drink he dropped some on a new model they were working on and it started a fire. Del and the two models made it out but sadly Del's friend did not. Del was so upset he let model 4 and 59 go into the world and Del decided to experiment on himself so he could be a firefighter in honor of his fallen friend. That is why Del can remember as a child because he was a normal alligator and he destroyed his records. (P.S he has not been in all games) I thought of this theory in the shower it may be a bit extra but I like it and think it makes scene. Hope you agree it could be true.

Theory: Del built the villagers before he was a possible cyborg. But while making either Sprocket or Ribbot, there was an explosion causing Del to get extremely injured. So he built himself robot parts to replace his wounded body parts. But since Sprocket and Ribbot were introduced in the first game, I think that Del then went in hiding and chose not to show himself until later games

After testing all my amiibo cards and residents, all i found was isabelle's bell rings when you move her around. My theory for why they have memories is because they used to real animal and they got into some kind of accident and then became cyborgs ( like penny in kindergaten 2)

I saw this theory that I think is pretty good that actually covers most of the villagers in animal crossing (probably other than the robot ones, go figures) that basically goes like this: The reason villagers are half humanoid half animal creatures while there are still normal animals (birds on the notice board, hamster cages, etc.) is because someone was experimenting on those normal animals and turned them into the humanoid villagers, who basically created their own society after it got out of hand. Pretty simple theory, and I would love to see you talk about it as well :)

I think that they built each other because they have memories. Maybe they got hurt when they were kids and maybe del was like really smart and he like prosteticlly repaired them or something and eventually be made bow and meow as like a project as he got older and maybe he went insane and tried to improve himself by turning into a robot and maybe he's a cranky villager because he went mad.

Cobb being the creator does strike me as highly possible. He is a JOCK personality. You can argue he is more on the medical side but the fact he still had the 'science' items even when fitting hospital items existed at the time (ACNL). Maybe it's just me but seeing a 'green' pig character with past items of oil barrels and science equipment, with medical/educational know how is giving me Dr. Frankenstein vibes.

Theory: All of the robot villagers were made by the player, OK OK BEFORE YOU COME AT ME LIKE “OH HOW THOUGH” Here is how : So like the video says “Bow and Meow are based on real objects” and because the real world has them, not in the game, that’s why they aren’t in New horizons, and the other games because then, they technically wouldn’t be based off anything so the player got rid of them, THEN made the current 3 robot villagers that are in NH (somewhere, I can’t remember where they sell like those weird talking stuffed animals) and because with the winter update you have the dog (the moving one, not Mom’s plushie.) that could be based off the robot villagers. Then the players that have them would know how to make them, so then the players would have there own, then the numbers would me what copy it is. But for Del, I think he’s based off a boat. But that’s all.

A few months ago, I made a fanmade robot character named Revor, a robotic version of Rover. Here's his story I made for him: As we know, Rover loves to travel, but one day, he gets sad and wants to travel with a friend. He asks many villagers to travel with him, but they all sadly decline Rover's offer. He feels depressed, thinking that he will never find a travel buddy. He begs Tom Nook and Isabelle for help. Tom Nook tells Rover that if he wants a travel buddy, he's going to have to make one himself. Rover decides that Sprocket, Ribbot and Del wound be great help, so he turns to them for advice on how to make a traveling robot that can keep track of time and can be Rover's GPS. The creation of Revor has begun. Sprocket, Ribbot, Del and Rover work on Revor for many months. It is May, now and Rover was told by Tom Nook that he must host the May Day Event. Rover tells the robots that he will be leaving and that he will rely on them to finish Revor by the end of May. When Rover returns, Sprocket happily announces that Revor is complete. Rover is thrilled! He hugs his new robotic companion and thanks Sprocket, Ribbot and Del for there hard work. Revor is programmed to know a lot of things. (How to read a map, use a compass, locate nearby train stations and airports ext.) Together, Rover and Revor travel the world and discover lots of new things. This is probably going to sound like a very stupid fan fiction, but I just felt like typing for some reason.

I just thought of backstorys for all of the villagers. A advanced tech company designed and created almost a hundred different robots to use for profit. One day the factory where all the robots were being kept burned down in a mysterious fire. Sprocket and Ribbot were the only survivors. Ribbot fakes having a mom in order to hide his true past. By random chance, an employee that had died in the fire had left plans for a robot alligator in their home office. After their death, the employee’s family left their office untouched for a long time. Eventually, a curious visiting grandchild discovered the plans and pocketed them. Years later, when they became an engineer, they created an improved version of the blueprints they discovered in their childhood. They named their creation Del, and raised him as their own. An inventor had a child with a severe immune system disorder. When the inventor heard about living robots, they decided to build some to be friends with their child, since their child could rarely be exposed to other children. The inventor built Meow and Bow. When their child passed away, the inventor blamed Meow and Bow. Hearing of the inventor’s plans to destroy them, Meow and Bow ran away before eventually being hunted down and destroyed by the deranged inventor.

My personal head cannon is that Tom Nook hired some of the other villagers, such as Doc, to design and construct a robot body, and had Cobb bring them to life. Unfortunately, this doesn’t work by conventional scientific means, turning to darker arts in the form of magic, to imbue them with a soul or emotions, as a form of connection between the robot body and life. The numbers on the backs of their heads is simply how many attempts have taken place. There may have been 8 attempts before a successful Sprocket was completed, and a whopping 54 (?) attempts before Ribbot was completed for his “working conditions”. The effects of lower gravity and extreme temperatures may have forced them to make several bodies, and the Island Getaway is an attempt to continue funding this endeavor by sending people off to an island, and stealing their money, but keeping up the illusion of bells, which have no real value anywhere else, and can only be converted through Nook Inc. Additionally, this could provide a safe testing area for the new bots, and if something goes wrong, then the villagers can’t contact the outside world as a means of shutting them down. If that somehow doesn’t keep them down, then they could simply be considered a fresh soul to place in a hollow shell. With the addition of Dream Islands, we can assume that it is being integrated into their lives, so that the villagers can become accustomed to the idea of being alive, but not in their own body. This could be used as a trap, instead of returning to your own body, they place your conscience into a robot. Or maybe not, it’s food for thought.

As we know, Raddle is based off a poisonous type of frog (not sure what it’s called but it’s irrelevant) but the problem with the theory that he created them, his goal/career is a doctor. If you’ve ever taken a look at the interior of his home, he has a very doctor-looking place, including a sink, anatomical model and skeleton. He managed to live out his aspirations but something was missing. Now obviously as a poisonous frog, it’d be very difficult for him to make friends, and he probably wouldn’t be able to build robots, considering he is trained in medicine, not engendering. So one day he enlists the help of Cob or another one of the mad scientist type villagers and requests they build him a pair of friends (Ribbot and sprocket) who would never be at risk by his toxins. After some time, he leaves them behind because he knows they aren’t real. And now they’re all off in other places (your island, mystery islands) as for dell, I’m not too sure if or where he fits into this theory but it explains Ribbot and sprocket

my theory: Tom Nook ran a large corporation called NookCorp in a world different from animal crossing, but with the same kind of people to Tom Nook and the villagers. He created pocket dimension creating technology and used it for a service called "Happy Home", where you would get your own little world to go to. Sadly, people were getting lost and losing their keys out of the "Happy Homes". There were so many people using the service that there were 414 people who were trapped before the company was forced to close down. He and a few of the trapped villagers created the last 8, those being Del, Sprocket, Ribbot, Bow, Meow, Stitches, Coco, and Hopkins. He cloned all the trapped villagers, along with the manmade(or animal made I guess?) villagers, and inserted chips in their brains to forget about Happy Home, and also to allow him to control them. He created the player as an android to gain him profit, and keeps the bells you give him along with selling your items to earn money. The new villagers added in later versions are Tom Nook continuing to clone and brainwash the lost patients. There have been 422 villagers total, 10 missing in the latest game. The missing villagers have managed to override the chips, and so they were removed from the animal crossing world money-making machine thing. People like Isabelle and Blathers are former higher-ups in NookCorp who were not able to be hired anywhere, so they volunteered to be cloned in order to have a way to make money. Tom Nook cloned himself 3 times per island, but 2/island he would not let fully mature. that was a long freakin theory wait just watched latest video and I agree with theory and copholobot was the one who built sprocket and del and ribbot and bow and meow was one of the original ones trapped in happy home and previously was manning Nook's machines but has now been cloned finally.

From what I can tell, all robo villagers are cyborgs: they all have one thing in common, that they have a patch of strangely organic material. sprocket's is below is his waist, like you mentioned, del's is pretty much his entire torso and lower head, and ribbot's is his back and part of his crotch region. As for bow and meow, I haven't seen enough of them to tell. So my guess, is that they all got in some accident: ribbot's being the most severe, likely needing a mechanical device to keep himself from instantly falling asleep, being operated by the switch. My guess is also that he needed the switch too, by extension, to sleep at all. Sprocket has a good amount left comparatively, and del has even more. Plus, we have almost definitive proof del is a veteran. It's likely that they were helped by someone, not created. Therefore, it would have to be someone who is smart enough, and is focused on helping people.

I agree with the theory that Del used to be in the navy before he was injured and turned into a cyborg (but has since retired) I also think Del can shoot water out his nose so he can put out fires. I think the others were made for the purposes stated in the video (Ribbot for space travel, Sprocket for music. Cephalobot is interesting because while his house is space themed...he has the play hobby. I think he was created for keeping astronauts company on long, lonely missions. Which could easily translate to keeping lonely people company in general. He is also Smug, who are friendly if a bit arrogant) As for who made them? Del was made by Cobb, a reference to Frankenstein, but the others were made by someone...unknown

I think Tom Nook made ALL the villagers for are player character with the help of Isabelle and Timmy and Tommy and Robot villager’s (also I’m gonna say that the robot villagers are earlier versions. And the numbers on the robots are when they we made. I forgot when I typed this). But for stuff like Hopkins I think like some one of the magical characters in animal crossing gave life to them to be villagers for Tom Nook

dell wall originally meant to be the one to bring you too your island but it had a malfunction and you went on a plane with him and thats why he is a common starter and Hopkins sounds normal cuz i have him and coco is normal aswell

Are there different textures for sleeping villagers? You could check to see if Ribbot’s switch is off when he’s asleep.

I know this video is a couple of years old, so I'm not sure if you'll see this, but here's my very long theory... I believe that all the villagers and the staff members like Tom Nook are toys, and we are a child playing with them. Hear me out, for starters...Stitch and Biskit are obviously Stuff-animals because of their design with the different colors stitch together, but there's more proof. Peaches and Cube have odd-looking eyes that are shaped like a plus-sign ORR how you would make eyes for a stuff-animal, Tia is literally a tea-pot, Hopkins is a balloon of some kind, and all the sheep look too fluffy to be an actual sheep. Not to mention how all these "animals" have different unnatural patterns and colors, plus there's unicorns and wooly mammoths! And probably the reason why we don't see the old characters back into New Horizons is most likely because those toys don't exist anymore, like with Meow and Bow, and all robots in the game are probably toys as well, like transformers or something. The reason why we might see the same villager at someone else's island is probably because they have the same toy, and it might be like two kids playing with one another. Maybe your character is trying to escape the real world with toys? After all, there are countless situations where the characters seem aware, or like K.K Slider in the beginning of the game, talking to the screen, and how Kapp'n says that this might be all a dream. As for what the character is escaping from...it might be a lost from a love-one since we have Coco, maybe the kid is playing with it as if they're playing with the person who died, and maybe the kid is getting help from a therapist, who may that be you ask? Luna! In my opinion, besides from her animal-like features, she looks more human-like, too! Yes, I know that I just stated how these animals are probably toys, buut Luna looks more like a nurse of some kind, plus her body figure and her hairdo is un-animal and un-toy like...at least for a kid. Sill, don't believe me? Welllllll did you know there's an Animal Crossing Movie?! It's called Gekijōban Dōbutsu no Mori and was made in 2006 in Japan and is about AI who's a 11-year-old girl! Technically there was a somewhat mechanical villager you left out named Nidori, an ostrich villager, who’s design is a reference from the Nintendo game cube, you could only recieve him you subscribed to Nintendo’s Japan exclusive magazine which would send you his eCard for the original Animal Crossing

In Animal Crossing Pocket Camp there's some information about some sort of crane character that I can't remember the name of. Its says: "He's so dedicated to a slacker life, he spent weeks designing a machine that would get him a soda" or something like that.

What if the people who made the robots was lonely, or insane, needed friends and made them, when the creator/creators died they went places and became multiplied from a phenomenon, and for Del he was probably was based off the ship, cuz his creator or creators wanted to be sailers and made him to help there dream. They might’ve made him to be able to transform into a boat (Transformer vibes) and they died off and he sailed off to islands as his boat form and started to blend in and started making up memory’s to just blend in and not be out of the ordinary. He could be planning to continues his creators dreams and is slowly planning to set sail. For bow and meow, they probably got dismantled from how old there design is and how there’s many malfunctions with them from how the worlds adapted and is now, I’ve gotten a head of myself but look at it, in the future there could be the big reveal and our ideas might be wrong, it could be a villager or they were from a failed experiment or put in a deep sleep and woke up this time. Theory (I know I am late): Roswell and Nindori (an old villager that isn’t in recent games) are robot villagers. For Roswell he could be the newest model as his eyes are screws but nothing else look very robotic on him. As for Nindori he could be a step up from Del as he has the same windows on his head as Del. Nindori could also be an early model of Del but is gone from other games because he kept falling apart so they needed to be more robotic on the outside. That is all I can say about them but Nindori could run on protein powder as he is a jock villager. As for Del, Ribbot, and Sprocket, the word del means an operator used in vector analysis so he could have been used for math stuff. Ribbot I don’t have a lot to say about but he could do space stuff. Maybe he was sent to space as using real villagers was too risky so he was used. I have nothing to say about Sprocket because I am too lazy to think about anything. For Bow and Meow I think your the theories about them were correct ( 10:35 ) but I have more things to ad. After the BowLingual and the MeowLingual were not being very successful bigger ones were made (Bow and Meow) but they were very expensive and the people making them were getting lots of villagers being very mad at how expensive and terrible they were so they stopped making them. About the newest Robot villager, Cephelabot (Yes I know he made a video on him) I think that he was made with Ribbot and Sprocket but wasn’t produced for a long time as they made fancier robots but after a while they decided to finally put him out there to remind villagers that there are still new and new robots being made as the fancier ones convinced the villagers they were not being produced anymore so their creators release Cephelabot. For how the villagers remember things from their ‘past’ I believe their creators inputted memories of their childhood into their robots. I keep saying they (representing their creators) because I think there are multiple working together and that is why some have diffrent personalities because their creators put diffrent memories in and that is why some of them say the same things and have the same personality. For some of them they had a jock villager put their memories in and that made them act like a jock villager. As for them getting sick it could be a malfunction in their system that they can’t fix but the player can by giving them medicine but the medicine could be something that fixes them. Why it works on other villagers I don’t know. For their creators I think it is Tom Nook and some business partners. Why Tom Nook you ask? Well I think he wanted to make them to show villagers he is smart so more villagers come and buy his stuff to see the cool things like robots. It also could be to boost the villager count. I can’t pin point who exactly worked with him but I think Graham put his memories into Cephelabot as they have the same personality. Cobb is a jock villager (according to a google search) So he could have put his memories into Sprocket, Ribbot, and Nindori. As for one for Del i don’t know yet and Roswell is complex. He has changed personality from Lazy to Smug. Earlier versions of him could have had memories from Doc but later on Doc was booted from the team and later ones had memories from Graham. I don’t want to make this super long so I won’t say why Doc was booted (not like I have any ideas anyways)

So tom nook could've requested cog to build the robot villagers for his business rise and in order to build them maybe they would need actual animals life forms to create life to them that's why cog needed the lab and lab equipment.

Theory: They aren't robots. They are villagers who were involved in terrible accidents, leading to them having to be put in robot suits. Or maybe, they ARE robots but with human brains implemented inside.

Del could be the creator of them and then he was on the verge of death because you know old age. Robot creation seems like it would take time to get working robots. Which explains Ribbots 59, he could be the 59th try (and first actual success), and then got better at them and made Sprocket on his 4th try.. Which ALSO explains why he talks about his childhood memories and can be sick, he wasn't always a robot. ALSO, if my theory is true, because robot creation is so long to getting perfect working robots, that seems angering. Del is a cranky villager, the anger from trying to get working robots scarred him to be forever a cranky villager. (But I think he didn't make Meow and Bow).

People were saying Del might be a boat because there's the DAL (Dodo air lines), and they do have a boat. Maybe Del worked for the Dodo air lines before!!! MAYBE He had the company named AAL (Alligator air lines) before? And then a Dodo took over and changed it? Or maybe It was called Del Air Lines before and they just changed it to Dodo. He also look like he has DAL uniform on the sailor picture....

After watching, I have something. So. Maybe it wasn't Tom, it wasn't Cobb, it wasn't any one of those animals. It was Isabelle! Because, she singlehandedly handles everything in the WHOLE game. In EVERY game. ALL the time. She may have needed help around there. But then, her plan backfired and when she made Sprocket and RIbbot, they didn't wanna help! So, she made Bow and Meow. Bow and Meow were clones of Rosie and Goldie. But Bow was too lazy and Meow was too sassy. So Isabelle pulled the trigger. (K1lled them.) So she had nowhere else to go. She took an alligator and made a deal with him to help. He'd pretend he was a bot. the real gator went missing. Dumb theory, but seriously, did no one else realize the similarity between Bow and Goldie, Rosie and Meow?

Theory: I think del is a suit hear me out.I think the creators of del wanted a suit to protect others from fire,heavy items and extreme tempetures or weather. And the windows are breathing holes so they can breath more easily. But that's just a theory A GAME THEORY!

Methinks Doc. I have him in my village and since he arrived everyone who never read a book started to act like they were doing it the entire time. Like a reprogram. He might be another self aware villager and he has gained access to the games code and made it so all of his new friends will always read

I think when robot villagers get sick they get a short circuit, when they talk about family they are talking about their creator, and when they talk about memories they are false, only to show to them that they are equal to others.

my money is on petri being the one who built them seeing as she is canonically a mad scientist and whatnot

maybe the reason del remembered being a kid is because he used to be a regular alligator but got into an accident or something and had to get some parts replaced and stuff

9:43 Well, in new leaf there's a feature where if your villager moves to another town and you visit that town they'll remember you. Also, if you repeatedly hit them with a net they'll say something slightly negative to the mayor in their new town. But, if you were really good friends with that villager and talk to them, they'll say something positive. I really only know because of playing online with my siblings and dad.

Perhaps if you remove the red panel on del’s torso you’ll see an on and off switch

My Theory : I think that Del made the robots but a mistake happened which he had to go get robot parts to live so that’s why he is a cyborg and finished making Ribbot and Sprocket

Ok so what if Meow and Bow got hurt and the face and was replaced with a robotic face? Or maybe one of the robot villagers got really hurt like in a plane crash when flying to islands and Raddle decided to help them out with robot parts. Maybe Sprocket and Ribbot had a peremant memory loss so somebody replaced their memory with a chip that make you only think about sports. Well, Sprocket never stops talking to me about muscles and fitness! Well, some other villagers who are not robots never stop talking about muscles and fitness.... so... But, I also think that when a robot villager gets sick, ITS probably just a bug or a large glitch, and they were programmed to be cured with medicine? So... yeah... Also what if Zipper T made the villagers and the zipper is hiding a crazy robot made by aliens who makes robots?! Omg I think I'm onto somthing

My personal headcanon is that the creator of Ribbot and Sprocket is Cobb. He seems to be a scientist and he's a jock just like them.

I think Orville and Wilbur made the animatronic residents. They created Del based off of a ship because they had always had the dream of sailing. They built Del as their own test for themselves to see how good they will be at making a ship or a plane. Or del could have been to control the ship/plane automatically. They traveled places with a prototype plane with Del and let him catch bugs or fish as they explored the island they landed on. Someday they found a suitable island to abandon Del as they finally achieved their dream! From there Del got lonely and built more robots. Bow and Meow only lasted a while as their screens were smashed easily and they had to be thrown in the dump (sorry Bow and Meow lovers). But the others had a stable build. One day Cobb found these Robots and thought they were interesting. He watched for hours. Analyzing their movements. So he could build multiple copies of his own.

This gives me in a way of the flashbacks of five nights on Freddie's cuz I mean like the frog and bird bots are kinda like ectoskeletons by itself and the alligator bot is kinda like the jumpsuit animatronic itself (I mean I could be wrong,wait so...meaning the creator was William Afton XD) JK JK sorry Luv ur theory btw
