guys, you're are sleeping on petri. she is LITTERALLY a mad scientist. it was probably her! her house is a secret lab and in her description it says "she spends days alone in her house trying to make a new breakthrough, so you should bring her a snack every once in a while" my money is on her making the robots to help with her research and to help out around the various islands and whatnot.
i feel it's important to take into account their happy home paradise requests as i see it as canonical info on these guys! del wants a cabin for his sea voyage which just supports his sailor background more which isnt really new lol sprocket wants a "robo depot". did he have a hand at making some of the robot villagers or does he want to make more of them? ribbot wants a gym "full of handles" supporting his power-lifting job, but how effective is turning-handle-based exercise? & cephy is the most mysterious with "a place that reminds him of back home" or his "other home". apparently his home had gears & pipes & stuff according to his required items

I think that cephalobot is a either a robot built by aliens or an alien robot from a mechanical world, Because judging from his house from Happy Home Academy and how he wants it to "remind me of home" which gives me major in a spaceship vibes plus since his mouth moves exactly like a "normal" octo villager and I don't know any metal that can do that (but if there is let me know).
One interesting detail is that the previous robot's nurmbers only had 2 digits, but cephalobot has 3 digits,does this mean that they are being more rapidly created? Would it mean that we can expect even more robot villagers?
A new Video! Always a pleasure to see ^-^ I think Cephalobot is a general Matinence Robot for the others, isn't as new as Del, but is still the newest of the Numbered Trio. Some design aspects from Del are present on Cephalobot, and while the body is more similar to Sprocket and Ribbot, there's minor improvements noticable on its body.
This is a bit of a stretch but celhlabot is a Octobots are a group of enemies in EarthBound and Mother 3. They are extraterrestrial beings, similar to Starmen. In battle, they are capable of stealing items from party members and even inflicting Paralysis. They look very similar in design but Nintendo wouldn't have made a reference to that
theory: what if dell was supposed to be a playboy/model but got into firefighting after making a sexy fireman calendar and he was just based on real firefighting robots. and that is why he looks less sturdy and has fewer bolts because he was never meant to go out and do stuff like that. and maybe the holes are for aesthetic reasons and that is why he looks smoother than all the other robots. and also that can mean there are more robots out there but the robots that we see might be too soft and are also for other purposes for example entertainment. AND that can also explain the numbers and all the "missing robots" are just on the job
I'm pretty sure whoever created cephalobot was some star wars fan that he/she invented cephalobot to save some cool references and others from star wars
Hold on- I have a theory. What if Cephalobot... was created by The Professor from Splatoon? The professor had a thing for puns, as shown by the sunken scrolls, possibly explaining Cephalobot's name, and he wanted to cryogenically freeze himself, like Cephalo's pod, but only had enough power to freeze Judd. Commandar Tartar was created by him to pass on human knowledge to the next generation and when is CT introduced? OCTO expansion. Maybe Cephalobot was the professor's first attempt at something like Tartar in the form of an Octopus (Professor predicted Octo Expansion I guess), that stored his memories, intelligence and other things. Maybe Cephalobot tried to go to another world, hence his house theme and why on earth he's on Nook's island. None of this makes sense at all but maybe this is just my Splatoon obsessed brain writing random theories.

From what I’ve seen it looks pretty cool and the design looks really good too but the price tag on it looks a little off compared with what you get for the price point and I don’t think it will last very much in my price point as far back to what it is but it is definitely a nice looking piece of wood to be honest I would love a piece like this if I had the time and money for something that is a bit cheaper than the original one
083 does not have to mean that they are the 83 of any series. It could be informational numbers instead of a serial number, with each digit having its own meaning. We do not have enoth a sample size to figure out what the numbers actually mean, however. What do Sprocket and Cephal have in common they do not share with Ribbot? Is 0 a maybe a prototype marker while Ribbot is version 4 of themself? Who knows for now... My best for the 8 and the 3 are referencing to being a octopus and having three sockets for plugs to charge.
