"You can't attach all of your value to your career" I really felt this! As someone who was laid off at the beginning of the pandemic, it was hard for me to dissociate my value from my career. I felt so useless and worthless for a while. Thankfully, things are finally turning around for me. Anyway, this episode was full of gems I didn't know I needed to hear! Thank you Justin and Elena :)
She is such a beautiful, well rounded, beautifly grounded human being. There is a beautiful sense of calm about her. I really enjoyed listening to this conversation. Thank you for inviting her. 🙂
I’ve been watching all of your videos, and it has given me a different perspective on life. I’m so grateful I found this platform. Thank you for sharing!
Ugh, just watched this convo on my first day off & it felt so good! Have been through lots of challenges myself & did a similar inner work to Elena. Some of my fav part of this convo: « let’s not say rejection, it’s redirection », the definition of success, the tools box analogy, « you can’t pour from an empty cup », creating your own platform & saying «if I help at least one person, I won! » that’s my motto as well with my platform 🙌🏾. Thank you JD 🙏🏾
Thank you so much for the feedback! I'm glad you liked the episode and found it so helpful! *Elena is a beautiful soul and I knew she would bring a lot of value to the show & the WCR community!
I wrote down so many gems in this episode and it made me feel so inspired and understood. So many of these points she made are things I've been trying to remind myself in a world where everyone's value is so defined to their careers that arent always in alignment with what your true purpose is. Being truly in alignment takes so much self-recognition, accountability, and discipline. It was a beautiful episode, with so much knowledge, and love. Thank you
