Petition for JD to come back with the podcast. I prepared my breakfast today listening to this episode and realized how I much I’ve missed y’all.

😂 I appreciate you! But it’s not even about petitioning for me to come back- it’s more about petitioning finding a team for me to come back 🤣. It’s just too much for little ol me to run everything by myself 😢

You think you won but you didnt. It worked. It reflected back to you who you are so you know what to work on.

Didn’t you keep the Ayahuasca duet prior to the ceremony? That is crucial.

Ego vs SOUL 🙏 keep going.. Also,b Being under the influence of any psychedelic is actually so bonding, and can break more walls down in an instant than being sober can a lot of the time. Blessings and may you continue to journey inward 🫂💞

My first episode I listened to and it was kindof painful to hear you say, its not always like this.. because I thought it was great, you opened up. Maybe not so much in the ceremony but you did here. That takes courage and that is the healing doing its work trough uou with you by you. Going ro see if you posted your second experience aswell. By the way 4/5 hours is very short ! Mine took about 11 hours.

Learning to surrender the ego is key. You learned so much about your ego in your 1st experience. I hope with this new knowledge, you have been able to go back for another ceremony. New openings await you. Much love, brother.

Really felt that when you said youre 35 and time is going too fast. Im 35 myself and battling with chronic fatigue syndrome caused by a flu. I wanna do so many thing but my body isnt cooperating. Im bedbound most of the time. Missed 3 years of my precious 30s. Its frustrating and stressing me out so bad. I wanna do the ayahuasca this year becaus I feel like I have energy blockages and trauma which is preventing me to heal

Just found your video and for someone who is extremely spiritual, I want to let you know that your ego didn’t win. Ayahuasca did. She showed you the biggest obstacle - your EGO. There are layers to this. By you saying that your ego won is exactly what she is trying to PROVE to you, stop feeding your ego. Work on it, this is not a race and always find the balance between the light and shadow. Thank you for your story 🙏🏼

This was so raw and vulnerable, even more so than some of the stories of personal experiences I’ve heard from women. You are much less of a rock than you think. Emotional intelligence at a powerful level.

The fact that you struggled with your ego, and told yourself you won, but could feel what it felt like to win, and the desire to not win was your experience. Your ego became completely separate from you and you engaged with it outside of yourself. The ego maintained control by observing people, the room, the noises, allowing you to see how damaging ego has been. FYI: you did win. Your addressed your vulnerability and the ego doesn’t have to be broken. Now go back and rescue the little boy with the, “CAVEMAN,” who rescued your wife.

Hmm, I'm not one to call people out on the internet, but you kind of lost me at the conversation with your inner child. Psychedelic trips, while obviously vastly different for everyone, usually manifest far more abstractly, even more so than dreams. Your experience was surprisingly literal, almost disingenuously (dare I say, unimaginatively) so... And when you refrained from unpacking more details of your trip to avoid spoiling the experience for anyone else, my heart just sank. I don't think it works that way, dude. I'm very curious to hear how Shay's trip went though, so I'll check that out next. Congratulations on "winning," discovering your inner protector and delivering the subtlest humble brag I've ever had the pleasure of watching. PS: I'd probably be furious if I had to "snap out" of a once in a lifetime trip to take care of my partner with a perfectly qualified shaman on standby, but you're obviously a far better (and younger) man than me. 😁😉

This is my first time to visit your channel and I'm glad I found it. Thank you for sharing and being so genuine and vulnerable. I stopped and prayed for you. I know you're on the right path. It's a process, and I understand when u feel like the clock is ticking /time is running out, but I promise everything is on perfect timing. Keep doing the work and be patient with the process as God unravels things. Ask and u will receive, Seek and you will find.❤ God bless

Peace Bredren. If you dont yet know.. slow deep diaphragmatic breathing as with meditation, in which you fill your self up with the breath from the belly. As you do you send it or guide a bit of it up to your brain where you feel the pain. If you can sit in that state for upwards of 12 - 15 strong steady minutes you will heal yourself of these head ache forever (I did). You'll also develop the skill of meditation and trance to help you with all aspects of your life. Peace.

25:12 I totally agree with Shay's point of when we have a strong need for something in a relationship that was triggered by our past experiences, our traumas, our childhoods, etc. It can be very pressuring to the other to demand or expect them to fill that need for us but not doing any reflection on where that need is coming from and wheather it is maybe disproportionate to place all the responsibility for our feelings on the other. Especially if in past relationships the other partner adapted and gave you what you needed without questions. It can be hard to look at it and pick our need apart and how we might have to step up and take more of a role in solving it than we think
