Gobert is average, great shot blocker but that’s about it, gobert would be amazing in the 90s or earlier tho, bam is a smarter and more mobile gobert with a little bit less shot blocking but being mobile is the most important part of defense in todays league with all the spacing

Adebayo has skills to his game (passing, setting picks) that Wemby doesn’t have yet. Defensively Wemby is obviously a better shot-blocker, but Bam has better intangibles. Wemby has the shooting range though. It’s probably even, but by the end of next year Wemby should definitely be better
Wembanyama has better intangibles. Hes 20 years old and already showing impeccable maturity and conscientiousness for his age. He’s tasked with leading a franchise something that has not been asked of Bam to this point. Bam wasn’t thrown into a fire like this. I agree with you that Bam is very disciplined and a consonant professional. He’s a great player, but I think Wemby has impeccable intangibles. Bam is way better offensively than Gobert lol. Right now Bam is a 5 time All Defense. Probably will finish his career as a 10-12 time All Defensive player.

Draymond green is the 3rd/4th option on his team. He is a good player with good passing, good defense & good leadership but hes not a scorer (less than 10 pts most seasons) and not a great shot blocker (never had more than 1,4 blocks per game in a season) . He won ships cuz warriors had Curry/Klay the 2 best 3 pt shooters of all time. He was important to win but rookie Wemby is better than prime Green.
Chet had a one for one season with wemby and wemby did better, gobert got outclassed as a defender by wemby this year and isn’t a scorer so wemby, draymond is a role player not really a superstar talent and bam is the first one mentioned that can score and play defense with hyper athleticism so it’s definitely he barely gets the nod
