I was starting to think Lydia was into Aaliyah for how much she was gravitating towards her or jealous but didn’t expect the Uche connection 😭 also Johnie definitely was playing the game and I was happy Chris stood up for himself

I think Aliyah should have distanced herself from Lydia, she didn't go there to make friends especially the fact that Lydia seems to have gotten close because she didn't want Uche to be with someone else. Smh

when Lydia was making weird comments to Aaliyah prior to Aaliyah finding out about them .. I was like “ 👀👀👀” like this is weird as hell 😂 damn . I’m glad aaliyah left because that ending was too much smh

Izzy wants to be everyone's #1. He wanted to have choices. Uche was so judgmental & was withholding info from "the one". Lydia wants anyone that wants her & she is a crappy friend. I liked Johni til she was caught lying. Chris was amazing so far. When Aaliyah left, I laughed. Everyone needs therapy.

Also, omg I lovedddd Chris, I was fist pumping when he chose himself. Johnie... is a character I can't quite put a finger on but I can't disagree when she said Izzy and Stacy wouldn't work out - I don't think they'll make it...

The way Lydia sells herself to Milton is horrifying. It could be anybody.

Lydia was a major 👀. I could totally see her act being “fake” and her getting close to Aaliyah so she can be close to Uche in a weird way. Almost like some fatal attraction ish or something 😂. I do also want to acknowledge that sometimes people date similar people to their exes so it’s pooosssibble they could have naturally get along.

I think people need to go to therapy first before going on reality TV😅

When I watch the show now and think "OH!!! Can't wait for the reunion!" I stop and realize "oh... this is one of the biggest questions the fans will have. That means Nick and Vanessa will not touch it with a 10 foot pole. Instead they will play the newlywed game." UGH!!

Johnie is the true villain I’m glad she ended up alone and her voice is horrible

I really didn't think the Lydia Uche drama was that big of a deal. Like they all live in Houston. Lydia was cringe but from Uche side I didn't think he did anything wrong. That wouldn't of been a deal breaker for me at all.

I know this isn’t supposed to be a “game”. However I don’t think any woman should cut off a connection BEFORE she’s proposed to. Nobody want to feel like a second choice.

Producers were wrong to keep secret the connection between usher and lydia. I think Lydia came to that show to get back with Uche. Aaliyah and Milton didn't deserve to discover it so late.

Why is Houston giving love is messy ??

I think about the Uche / Lydia relationship they were a couple for a few months back in 2020 and then he broke up. I’m guessing since then they have hooked up a couple of times, last one being 3 months prior to LIB. Which is also when Lydia ended the hooking up with Uche for good (because she probably had feelings for him and he very clearly doesn’t). That’s my interpretation of why she told Milton she ended it 3 months ago.

Lydia is the geologist, not Milton Milton seemed excited about Lydia in the beginning but I think at this point he’s beginning to realize he’s not ready for marriage. Lydia wants to marry ANYONE. I did not like Johnnie at all, since the beginning, but I did like Stacy, she wasn’t messy at all. Izzy was playing the game and wanted all his options open and he wants constant validation and he scares easily Soooo happy Chris left and super duper surprised Aaliyah left, I really want her and Uche to work.

Sounds like LIB meets Ultimatum. Also, this reads like the IMDB for an '80s daytime soap. "You remind me of me" comes off as Chekhov's Gun foreshadowing in a horror or thriller flick. Aliyah left before becoming a Final Girl. Lots of professional white collar Blacks and Hispanics in TX, and Houston is petrochemical capital of usa, so makes sense that they would bring on the science. Only 3 possible weddings/altars? All other seasons have 4. They'll have to manufacturer a couple, like bringing back one or both of the people who left already. If there will always be 1 safe couple (obv from the start) each season, that's sus. Maybe they will resort to plants.

Milton isn't a geologist lol he's an engineer. I'm a geologist and there is a lot of overlap. He probably wanted to be a geologist but became an engineer and kept geology as a hobby instead.

I have done so much deep diving with girl friends on this. I'm wondering if Lydia and Uche really did sleep together 3 months ago. Call me crazy but Lydia's voice is incredibly distinct. If they slept together three months ago, and dated since 2020, you would think Uche would recognize her voice the second she entered the pods...

I think Lydia is a nice girl. i even think that the friendship to Alya is real. But Lydia is sooooo desparate to be loved, she is willing to compromise on pretty much anything. I think Uche broke up with her because he wasn‘t feeling it, but was still open for booty calls. Three months ago is when Lydia finally realized that sex is all there is and decided for herself to „end“ it. As in not be available for just hook ups anymore. I think that is why they have different versions of who „ended“ it. Either way, Lydia is NOT ready for a relationship and no matter how much she says she loves herself, she does not.

Lydia was seriously desperate towards Izzy. The reaction to the rejection made me think she's crazy. Her advice to Aaliyah was even more weird now I see why....she's manipulative.

my bf and i instantly got so many red flags from lydia. at first we were annoyed with her loud obnoxious personality but she just got worse! she is a terrible friend and insanely desperate. also, i think stacy is very nice and pretty but her makeup is terrible im sorry. like she would be so much prettier with just some better blending and lighter eyebrows. again, i like her! somebody please just fix her makeup!

This is most definitely off-topic, but is anyone else morbidly curious and slightly freaked out by whatever the hell it is Miriam does for a living .... The way she described it and how nervous and weird she was well stroke in your own skin make me think that for some reason maybe she's opening a clinic that does medically-induced blackface.... The entire scenario was so weird and I'm not going to be okay until I know the truth!!!

I don’t see how Johnie can be crying her eyes out when Izzy and Stacy got engaged, but was still trying to get Chris back. You don’t need to get engaged or married on this show.

Honestly I think that a Queer version of "Love is Blind" would be way more interesting.

The Lachays probably have an ironclad contract with the production company. And a few unfortunate baby comments would not void the contract. Fave couple was Uche and Aaliyah but, the couple which will most likely make it to the altar are Taylor and JP. Lydia is very concerning. If Uche’s description of how they broke up is accurate, Lydia has a problem with listening and/or processing why things go wrong. How Lydia describes the breakup is so different, she broke up, then blocked him… is interesting. She has a super weird fixation on Aaliyah. So I’m curious on what her endgame will be once she’s at the resort. I can absolutely see Izzy and Stacey. Izzy doesn’t want complicated. He wants to make up for all the things he missed in his JW childhood.

I REALLY appreciated all the time in the pods even the mentioning of who other cast member are dating 👌 Uche is coming off manipulative. He says his biggest red flag is dishonesty and then proceeds to not be honest with Aaliyah and then berate her for what she was honest with him about. Okay Uche 🙄 think I dont like Uche and I think I love Aalyiah and I'm pretty suspicious of Lydia too. And now that I talk about it I wonder if Uche and Lydia are trying to pull one over on us. I need so much more info though this season is super dynamic not just typical villians and couples to root for. Milton is about to go through it with Lydia. Johnnie fucked up by sleeping on Chris hes a good guy. I think Stacy is a Roxanne type she didnt come on here for marriage. As soon as I watched Uche telling Aaliyah he use to date Lydia, i knew instantly thats why lydia has this weird best friend kinda relationship going on with Aaliyah. All her comments about "we're the same" all the while knowing her ex was in the pods are so creepy. She got close to Aaliyah BECAUSE she still wants Uche. What aaliyah doesn't know is lydia wanted him back in the pods. But he doesnt want her. If i was aaliyah, i would either drop them both or be straight with Lydia and stop being so nice, and just stay away from her whilst getting to know Uche. I dont trust Lydia in this scenario.

I'm sorry, i'm no longer falling for the okie doke with Love is Blind. It is now clear to me that there are a couple of actors and actresses thrown upon the mix with a scripted storyline to add drama to the show. It's so obvious at this point.

In terms of love… I think this season will be a wash. Maybe Uche and Aaliyah can redeem their love story but it’s a long road. But for drama the season going well.

I think it was selfish for both Lydia and Uche to stay in the experiment once it was revealed about their past. They had to know that the revelation of this information was going to effect either of the relationships they formed. This also was a waste of time for Aaliyah because in order for her to fully enjoy the experiment, she would have had to eat this information and pretend that it didn't matter or try to make another connection after so many days had passed and she was already in love with Uche. I honestly feel that when she returned to the pod after the "made up" and talked about wedding rings, that Lydia started oversharing again and Aaliyah said that's it, I'm out!! Uche probably wanted to honest with her but I can imagine the producers saying they couldn't say anything and maybe after he revealed he wanted to propose then they gave him permission to tell her. He had to know that this could end things and I imagine in a way this was hard for him because it sounds like Lydia was just a fling with benefits that came back to haunt him and ultimately bite him in the a$$ and cause him to lose Aaliyah! Also did you notice that Uche was trying to warn Milton on the sly by saying "hey you don't you DON'T have to propose to anyone". But Milton was already too far gone with his nose wide open for Lydia's love bombing on him!
