That's because positive male role models have vanished. When I was growing up I had positive real male role models, my father and my uncles, my school teachers and my coaches. What's more, the television and the movie industry, almost, I'm going to say 85% of the males depicted, were positive role models. Why are men being killed vs. women? Is it because of gang involvement? Why are women being killed? Is it because of domestic abuse? Important to consider, not simply statistics.
I think one statistic that can point to the reasoning behind your statement is the fact that the vast majority of homeless people are men. Everytime I serve a homeless person on my way to church, they're all men. So why is it getting to that point for men? Something is clearly failing men in society that they have to turn to prison, being homeless, or gangs to survive. The world is incredibly dangerous, for men and women. Men are naturally targets because of their strength.

Well a lot of those men are being killed because of scandalous women. Men do most of the killing, but women create most of the conditions that make it happen. Even men who commit crime to make money do it because women care about money a lot. Most of the crazy things men do in mass is for female validation. And since women become increasingly unrealistic with time, men will commit more crimes to keep up. Women may be able to raise their standards as they wish, but men can't just think their prosperity into existence in the same way. They have to make it happen or nothing will happen for them. And the most efficient way to get there is underhanded practices. As the saying goes, "the only way to win in life is to be faster, be smarter, or cheat". Women don't comprehend this because they don't have to compete to succeed in life. Even men who don't commit illegal crimes to impress women will put their morals and ethics in jeopardy to impress a woman. It creates a lot of problems. Interestingly, places with arranged marriages or wife buying have less fraud and gang wars.

Men need to go their own way. Live for themselves and build a life for themselves that brings them purpose and happiness outside of what society desires. There are other ways to self actualization outside of traditional family structures and romance. I'm 78 and a high school dropout. I've always been an avid reader on a variety of topics. I have more knowledge and understanding of history than most college "educated " people. Most don't know who won the Civil War or WWII. Have no idea of the participants of or who won WWII. Some of their answers to questions I could answer in the 4th grade are frightening . I made a good career for. myself in sales and sales management and operations management without a degree. It's just a piece of paper for many. Fortunately my granddaughter is an exception. She has a degree from an excellent college and is building a career in the medical field. She's a CMT and studying to be an RN with an eye toward being a pediatric nurse. Too many students have useless degrees in subjects that have little to no chance of providing a well paying job.

Males have been going into trades and incurring less debt while women are getting degrees in useless studies. The jobs that keep this world running require hard labor and skills in engineering all of which men excel in. They spend so much time in school learning bs while men are upkeeping the infrastructure.

Boys are regularly instructed by society, by grown women, to not show their emotions. Then when they grow older they end up not knowing how to convey emotions nor be emotionally mature nor how to communicate their emotions. Boys are regularly bullied at school by girls yet they are seen as the bullies. Sexual assault cases where a boy is harrasesed by a female teacher are less likely to be taken seriously, because "guys can't be raped" somehow.

The homicide rate for El Salvador is 52.02 and the US is 4.96. people forget that the US is a very populous country. The US has around 20,000 murders every year but a population of 330+ million. Look some of these murders are truly tragedies but it's no where near the problem you think it is.
