The best accuracy I have ever seen in the octagon is when the largest left arm in all of west linn put itself through Anderson Silva's skull to knock him to the mat twice. 1 more for the bad guy
Let's look at the different ko's Silva had. Front kick (Belfort) knees in the clinch, jab (Forrest Griffin) reverse upward elbow (Frycklund), head kick, etc. Stop it guys. Anderson is by far the most versatile striker in the history of MMA, to the point that we were all disappointed when he didn't ko someone. He could LITERALLY dance in the cage for min on end, with a world class athlete trying to ko him, and win the fight repeatedly. There's no contest.
All I'm going to say is this: Anderson Silva wrapped his leg around Chael's neck for a few seconds and a few fights later against Chris Weidman his leg snaps in half. Can't be a coincidence.
Honestly after adesayna v Silva I wouldn’t wanna see Conor and Silva fight. Probably the only reason is for the bag silva would make but he’s not him anymore
@@theshapetv9203 It means he's significantly smaller and shorter, could be like 30+ lbs. None of those guys had that much of a height, reach, and weight advantage.
@Khabib cherrypicking Weight bully because it was a mma fight, not a muay thai/kickboxing one. He was also 38 years old by the time he fought Weidman, so despite holding the belt his physical prime was not even at its peak anymore.
I'm sure a bunch of people are going to make the same comment but Anderson Silva is just too far out of his prime to put up a competitive fight against Conor. I mean look at Siva's last 4 fights. He doesn't have "it" anymore. He's not washed up by any means but he's not Anderson "the spider" Silva anymore. No disrespect but Conor would win a fight he obviously should win and people are gonna say "Conor is officially back baby!¡!!¡!!!!¡!!!!" It just seems like the outcome is undeniable
@@Theboss-tb9nh chael isnt gsp. Chael has a great southpaw boxing stance which was able to counter silvas muay thai/taekwondo stance. But gsp is completely different. He doesnt have great defence on the feet and his boxing isnt great. Gsp would only win if he took it to the ground and even then silva had dangerous bjj
Anderson's greatest accuracy feat was that sweet jab while backing up against I think Rich Franklin. Landed right on the chin so damn beautifully and the fact that he got a knockdown from that was crazy.
it actually is opinion based. you can land a strike on an unnefective part of the body. percision is a better way of putting it. you can land 50 strikes on the cheek but it only takes 1 shot perfectly on the chin.
Anderson. The pin point right hand against James Irvin. The perfectly placed knee against Bonnar. Flying knee against bisping. The upward elbow..he's the best ever at everything
Anderson silva striking accuracy 85%, Connor Mcgregor striking accuracy 48%. Chael makes a 5 minute video to say he doesn't know, I do a 2 minute google search and get the answer.
Anderson has beat fighters who have competed at heavyweight. Conors most notable victory was the first round KO of Aldo, who is now at bantamweight. They should not meet in the Octagon even if Anderson is past his prime 🙏
Chapel you got any good Chris Leban stories? I just re watched the first season of TUF and he’s by far my favorite. I feel like you got a good training story or something else like that
not really. Anderson’s defence is pretty terrible, he just eats the shots. Obviously I know he tries to use head movement all the time. Conor rarely gets hit.
Conors accuracy far superior to anyone. Thats how he knocks people out. He doesnt even swing very hard its pure technique and focused accuracy to land precisely where conor aims
I'll shed some light on it, his hand wasn't in the glove. Pulled his fingers out during a clench or something. Why else would he punch with his wrist and his "fingers" bend back like that? Just a casuals opinion anyway.
It's not quite so simple... which fighters are harder to hit? Big guys or little guys? Anderson fights like a smaller guy.. he's quick and nimble with great reflexes.... it's not so simple.
@@chuck5185 Stephan Bonnar, Chael Sonnen, Yushin Okami, Vitor Belfort, Chael Sonnen (again) Demian Maia, Forrest Griffin, Thales Leites, Patrick Côté, James Irvin, Dan Henderson, Rich Franklin, Nate Marquardt, Travis Lutter, Rich Franklin (again), Chris Leben, Tony Fryklund.......IN A ROW ya jackass
Not even close, Conor is very precise when throwing his shots where Anderson will wing his shots to set other things up. Anderson takes more chances with unorthodox striking while Conor will wait for the opening. Chapel was able to neutralize Anderson with takedown after takedown because Anderson would just throw shots. Anderson is a legend but if you stick to the game place, you will have success. Chael in that first fight, beat the fuck out of Anderson for 24 minutes and is the uncrowned champ! Haha
So everyone who has a L from Khabib is not an elite fighter? GTFO. This unreasonable Conor hate make people come up with the weirdest logic. The other day a guy wrote "Dustin is more of a fighter than Conor because he never tapped to Khabib"...
@Mike Fessey Franklin, Damian mia, nate Marquette, vitor belfort, chael sonnen, james Irvin, dan Henderson, chris leben are bad competition right 😂😂😂. In LHW, he knocked out Forrest Griffin and Stephan bonner .What else do you wan't.
States do not mean much though, Alistar is not that good and fought heavyweight that do not move well most of his career. Actually most heavyweights do not move well.
Conor with the left hand but anderson is better at everything else knees kicks elbows you name it anderson has done it but McGregor only knocks people out with a left cross
You have to consider their opponent's.How often did Conor really hit Khabib and how often did Silva hit Weidman? To me it doesn't matter at all,i watch the sport just simply as a viewer that wants to see two well skilled fighters impose their will on the other.Silva-Conor fight will never happen unless Conor agrees at a higher weight, like idk 175 or 180.Then imo the obvious happens,Silva goes into his counter striking stance and Conor looks to load up on his left.Silva would look to use range while Conor would try to get within range.Even though Silva is kind of washed up i see him KOing Conor.
We don't really know for sure he used PEDs his whole career. Could have taken then to help heal his broken leg. it wasn't all that strict then and lots of guys were using would be dumb to get locked in a cage natural if you knew the other guy was using.
@Nicola Maxwell Conor doesn't deserve respect for his antics. Anderson Silva is a nice human being inside and outside of octagon unlike that pos . Only one wrong thing he has done is he was caught using steroids. When he was old, washed up.
This is an interesting question, McGregor has a combination of Precision and Accuracy and Silva does really unorthodox things as well as being accurate, But Chael don't judge Connor on his recent fight I think you should rate Connor overall over all his fights like you did with Silva.(Don't count his McGregor fight since it was fake). Thx uncle chael
