Can you understand why Cassim left Aladdin? Let me know below! Also, if you would like to see my video about Aladdin's mother, check out that video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LGloxBrJWFI.html ! Thanks for watching and have a magical day!
Honestly, you could be on the right track about why Cassim would have left Aladdin when he was a kid having to grow up roughly as a poor "street rat". And no, because I am a real person, it is unlikely that genies would ever even exist. But if I had one, I could have three wishes like the well-done worlds of fiction like most of the Aladdin animated trilogy turning out to be really existent, for example.
Disney Theory : I think Disney remake Aladdin is about Cassim when he was young before he meet his wife and was prince of thieves! Aladdin father ( Hint 1: you had a genie did u used all 3 wishes yet) ( hint 2: and it called Street rat) I( I think genie last master was Cassim the king of thieves Cassim: You don't know what it's like to stare at the palace and know you deserve more. And be called Street Rat!

As much as Iam glad that Aladdin's father is alive and is reunited with his son, he should never have left his wife and child in the first place. The best way to survive a cruel world is by love from a family member or a love one... that actually sounds smoochy, sorry
@Wosto Videos In the Broadway play Aladdin, Cassim is one of Aladdin's thief friends. Babkak, Omar, Aladdin and Cassim (The Group of Thieves) not sure if this is accurate?
Looking at Cassim and Aladdin, they are basically the same person. Both strong skilled thieves, while determined to aid those less fortunate. Believing the rest of their family is gone they throw themselves into their work, they want to provide and be in a better world than they currently are in.
That’s funny! I was just about to ask her what the full title of the other sequel was to see if I had seen it. Personally, I didn’t like the return of Jafar quite as much, but I still thought it was pretty good :-)
Cassim reminds me of Darth Vader. Both made bad choices to help the ones they loved and both eventually realized that their sons were more important then anything else.
But Darth Vader aka Anakin Skywalker made Padme die from a broken heart, for his decision of falling to the dark side of the Force, and even chocked her before his duel with Obi-Wan on Mustafar.
@@hannahskeldon7944 It's possible that theory since Anakin was been reconstructed as the mechanical monster Darth Vader as the same time Padme was giving birth to Luke and Leia on the asteroid base Polis Massa. Maybe Palpatine sucked Padme's life force through the Force even without knowing where she was.
It's a great idea to Wotso Videos making a video telling the Iago's full story, so we can learn where he was born, and how he makes his way to the desert. The only things I know about Iago, is due his long partnership with Jafar, Iago has a vast knowledge of magic more than the Genie himself, and that Jafar purchased Iago at the marketplace of Agrabah sometime before the events of Aladdin.
I agree it would be interesting to learn more about him! That loud-mouthed parrot is one of my favorite Disney characters, and I love how the series/sequel helped to flesh out his character.
I find it funny that, because Cassim is considered the King of Thieves and thus making Aladdin a prince already, Genie technically couldn't grant his wish.....unless part of Genie's wish was to make Cassim King of Thieves then.....
I thought his title wasn't meant to be a royal thing... i mean, Cassim was the LEADER of the 40 thieves. Isn't the word "king" supposed to mean "leader"?
I think you can even earlier in the movie you can say that Kassim's lifestyle almost endangered his son. It was first the wedding raid, then the dual with Saluk. He came into the thieving world with noble intentions, but eventually he forgot his motive for why he got involved in the first place.
He didn't leave Aladdin to be living in the streets. He didn't know his wife would die, and he was trying to better their lives. One thing I didn't understand as a kid is why he left at the end of the movie, but now I get it. He could have stayed and had the lavish life his son had, but Aladdin had changed his heart. Another reason too is that watching Aladdin have that lavish life is all he'd wanted, and he set out to find a new dream.
And then, after this movie, he fights the ghost of Jafar and Hades in Greece and the Underworld with Hercules. And no I'm not making that up, the show is Hercules the Animated Series, the episode is "Hercules and the Arabian Night"
When I was a kid, I thought Aladdin was very cute and I liked him. But then I watched this movie, and for some reason I really like Aladdin's dad. Alot. Alot more than Aladdin. Way too much.
My father passed away when I was just a baby and my mother never remarried, so I grew up without a father. I was about 11 when this movie came out and I loved it! I really related to the story and wished my father could come back just like Cissim did.
I Understand WHY He Did It And That He Could't Possibly Know His Wife Would Die When She Did,But He DID End Up Leaving A Young Aladdin To Fend For Himself On The Streets Were Any Number Of Things Could Have Happened: He's Just Lucky That Aladdin Managed To Pick Up Some Skills As A Result Rather Then Simpy Die In The Streets.
Should've saved this for Fathers Day. But you probably have something special for that, huh? Maybe? Well, June is coming, so maybe a summer or warm related topic next time? I have no idea. Loved this video!
"A party going on now! Gotta party! Gotta party! Help me! I can't stop myself! Somebody rub the lamp! Somebody rub lamp! Ah you know I feel it! That's enough." Who else was watching Aladdin and The King of Thieves before, during or after this video was popped up
Aladdin the series had a Villian who would fit in the Hercules series. Machicales. .also the Genie Had race a much older Hercules. The song Nothing In The World.
Even if Cassim was blinded by gold fever, I truly feel that just like many parents today there are some who will go to any length to try and give their family or children better lives then they themselves once lived. No matter how poor or grand one may live. It is a parents nature to want to give all they can. This is also a great example how the Sultan did with Jasmine I feel. He only wanted what was best for her, and hence why he did the arranged marriage law to begin with.
I can't wait for the live action version of Aladdin, Aladdin has always been one of my favourite Disney movies I love how headstrong and stuburn Jasmine is. I also really like cobras.
I also like Aladdin and Jasmine. And Jasmine is one of my favorite Disney Princess, alongside Princess Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Mulan, Belle from Beauty and the Beast and Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty.
What happened in Aladdin the King of Thieves explain everything why Aladdin threw up on the streets and had to be a thief in order to survive because his father was the same remember when the captain of the guards found out he and his men smile because it explains a lot to them to like the Apple doesn't fall far from the tree sort of thing and I want to explain Aladdin father and mother in the live-action movie to.
@@marcusblackwell2372 Yes! Aladdin he's like Robin Hood, but Agrabah is not located in India, but in the Middle East, more precisely near the Jordan River in the Disney Universe!
@@marcusblackwell2372 I don't know the especifically location of Agrabah, but I saw many times in disney.fandom.com/wiki/The_Disney_Wiki, that says Agrabah is located near the Jordan River!
Because maybe pride for the Oracle, and that Aladdin felt he needed to do that on his own? Genie isn't a genie anymore, remember? He's just a magic man.
Since Aladdin is one of the figures in the 1000 Arabian Nights series of stories, as are the 40 thieves. I have to ask what I feel is an important question, where is Alibaba? The forty thieves appear a few times in the Arabian Nights series of tales, chief among them are the tales of Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp, Sinbad of the Seven Seas, and Alibaba the King of Thieves. Cassem, in Aladdin and the King of Thieves, is the King of Thieves, and at no point is Alibaba ever mentioned over the entire film, even though Alibaba in his tales is the one who carries the title "King of Thieves" and gained such a title by actually stealing the treasure of the Forty Thieves in his first tale. Honestly, I'm disappointed that Disney never tried to bring Alibaba into the mix, given the immense success that Aladdin's stories seemed to have among Disney's library. Alibaba could have been a nice sort of comparison character when held up to Aladdin, if written and presented properly. Aladdin is shown to be a nimble, streetwise, and compassionate character with the potential to be a great leader someday but lacking a lot of the social skills that could assist him in statecraft and governance after his marriage to Jasmine. Alibaba could have easily been presented as a juxtaposition, of sorts, with the same kind of cunning and compassion as Aladdin but just as skilled in socially as Aladdin is physically, he wouldn't be as physically nimble or strong but show a level of social agility that could be comparable to Aladdin's own nimble body, all with a gift for storytelling and embellishment, which would show that he tends to be a bit of a pathological liar but most people don't really notice or care because of his naturally high charisma. Alibaba, while being a pathological liar, could be shown to also be excellent at seeing through the ruses and facades others put up and be shown to have a heart of gold by giving items of immense value to those that truly require them but with the caveat that not say where they got it from and tell a little tale he spins for them to tell instead. Alibaba could be shown as someone who prefers to be one who acts heroic but chooses to have his heroic actions not be sung or praised, preferring to be one who's good deeds go unsung while portraying the facade of someone who shows little to no regard to those less fortunate than him. Alibaba could even have a very similar background to Aladdin, being that he had been forced to grow up without parents, but unlike Aladdin whom had been restricted to the streets of the well-doing Agrabah, Alibaba would have been forced to grow up on the streets in towns and cities he came across while also having spent a good portion of his early life having to grow up in the wilderness and learn survival skills on his own with no help from anyone. And all that suggestion literally just came up off the top of my head.
Fun fact about Aladdin and the King of Thieves: the original pitch for this movie was to explore the relationship between Aladdin and Mozenrath from the Aladdin tv show. When that voice actor was unavailable, they decided to refocus the movie onto Aladdin's father, Cassim.
Aladdin and Mozenrath were also meant to be twin brothers, but as well as the voice actor being unavailable, the team wanted to distance the tv series away from the film series (even though King of Thieves was the sequel and finale to the tv show). Another theory is that Mozenrath is Jafar's son, due to the similarities, but that is unlikely as it was never implied in the first two movies that Jafar had a child, or wife of his own, and Mozenrath's similarities to Aladdin in age would not spurn from being fathered by Jafar.
Kanyanta Mwansa, I actually didn’t know the tv show served as a midquel between return of Jafar and King of thieves until maybe five years ago. I had thought the show took place after king of thieves. But then my roommate, who I was moving in with at the time, had told me
I never knew that Aladdin had a father at first. But in the original story his father passed away and he lives with his mother. Aladdain had never had a real family but when he meat Jasmine she is his family now and for ever
I think Cassim left Agrabah with the idea of looking Midas' hand even before meeting or creating the 40 thieves, the dagger has the symbol of Midas' hand.
Did Casim get promoted to "King of Theives" the day Aladdin wished to be a Prince? If so, the Sultan technicaly didnt need to change the law at the end of the movie, nor was Aladdin himself lying about being a prince.
I don't think was the exact same day Aladdin wished to Genie to become a Prince. I think it was sometime before or after the events of the first Aladdin. And I think "King of Thieves" isn't a royal status acceptable.
The cost was too high and the King of thrives (Cassim) left his family. So no I do not understand why he left. Your family is the most precious thing on earth and yes more precious then gold.
I always loved this movie due to the father-son connection, since it was out, it became my favorite movie and I love the story more the original Aladdin although I love the original movie and The Return if Jafar but this one is the best sequels for Aladdin movies.
Did you know that Cassim was supposed to be voiced by Sean Connery (he's modeled after him) but since Connery didn't have time they casted John Rhys-Davies (Gimli) instead and asked him to sound like Sean Connery 🤔😃
I would think that when Aladdin became Sultan he probably pardoned his father and he came back, although I never understood why the Sultan didn't do it himself?
@@hannahskeldon7944 Because the Sultan was badly influenced by Captain Razoul, who always wanted to somehow ruin Aladdin's life, because he never changed his mind about Aladdin even after Aladdin saved Agrabah twice from Jafar's tyranny, and he doesn't believe that Aladdin truly loves Jasmine, even when he is proven wrong.
I'm 27 with gray hair coming in lol I want to age as great as Cassim because apparently there is a surprisingly large number of ladies who love this guy haha #HairGoals
i would like to see a sequel to the live-action film, loosely based on _Aladdin and the King of Thieves_ , with some elements from _The Return of Jafar_ .
He just wanted his family to live a happy life. He was willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of his family. Even if it was a bad choice made to leave them behind, he still did it out of love to resure his own and his family a healthy and good future.
I only found the challenge and musical number embarrassing in film and didn't watch those parts. And Cassim is clearly voiced by Macbeth from Disney Gargoyles. I recognize that voice anywhere! I'm very good at recognizing voice actors. I took a one night class on voice acting and they said I was one of the most naturally talented people they ever heard! So I know voices when I hear them!
The tales of the Arabian Nights have been told in so many ways, and Disney did very well, when the made the animated trilogy in the 90s, as well as the series. Cassim was a fascinating character in the movie, and thanks for telling us more about him, Isaac.
Idk why but to me your thumbnails look just like Super Carlin Bros' thumbnails. I thought this was one of their videos lol. Sorry, Wotso! Still love you! This was such a good video.
Here a plothole: If aladdin father was the king of thieves does that not make him a prince? Making the first wish of the genie not possible because he already is one.
