Lewandowski has scored 11 goals in 63 chances so far this season... Mandžukić has scored 10 goals in 36 chances... Lewandowski simply shoots a lot more than Mandžukić, it doesn't mean he is better. Bayern's goals come from the wingers and the midfielders a lot more frequently than they do at BVB. In spite of merely being one among such a strong and diverse Bayern attack, Mandžo has almost the same amount of goals on far, far few chances. Not to mention he is better in the air, more of a team player, etc. Mandžukić is a more modern centre forward than Lewandowski, and a more complete player overall. Period.

To defend Mandzukic is a nightmare for Defenders , I don't thing Lewandowski will be able to take his place unless Guardiola plays the traditional 4-4-2 with two strikers .

They are both very good. Mario is a hardworking striker that drops back and helps the team more and has a more physical presence inside the box while Robert is more of a cherry picker with more dribbling skill Still say Mario is better

This season Mandzukic is proving that he is better. He is again the top scorer of Bundesliga. Maybe Lewondowski is good with his feet. But Mandzukic can be deadly in the air and he is a great finisher !

They are both good players but with very different play stile. Lewa played 2533 min in Bundundesliga and socred 18 goals (4 from penaltys), and Mando played 1953 min and scored 18 goals (0 from penalty). Mando have best head play in world atm, and his work rate is rly impressive.

Both fantastic players and scorers with similar technique, but my voice would go to Super Mario due to fact that he scores in most important matches for club and country and he rarely disappoints.

There's no question - Lewandowski is better - Bayern approves. That's why they hired him instead of Mandzukić.

Robert Lewandowski ponieważ w tym filmie pokazano było jak strzelił gola z piętki i jak strzelił gola przewrotką w reprezentacji. Natomiast Mandzukić nie strzelił ani razu w tym filmiku pięknej bramki. Ani z piętki ani z przewrotki. Więc Robert po prostu jest lepszy.

Lewandowski is a more skillful player, no doubt about that, he scores more spectacular, different goals, but he is not half of a fighter that Mandzukic is. Lew's performance is measured by goals and goals only, while Mandzukic puts huge pressure on oppositions back line, like no other player. Lew doesn't even score more goals. Mandzukic is underrated, he doesn't "look" "strikerish" but look at the statistics.... Someone said that Primera is much weaker league than Bundesliga. What?

I am Croat and I think that Mario is physically stronger, an dynamic potent player that makes holes in defence of opposing team, and when defending very active - Mourinho's type of player. Lewanodwski is type of player that I like with fantastic tehnique, great passes - a player more suitable for Guardiola. I think Mario will find himself in Chelsea where he will be treated as he deserves - like a king...

It's really hard to tell. Both of them are not only scoring goals, just doing alot of good work in reception, and playmaking. For the benefit of Mario is that he plays in Bayern for some time already, and he didn't disappoint but I would prefer to wait how does it gonna look like in June. Alot of people say that Mandukic is a perfect player for this position in Bayern. But if management thinks the same they wont but Robert. My answer is that Robert is a better player

For me every goal in that match he scores was brilliant , he shows lots of skills and striker masterart in that game , he s got first tuch , calm , he knows how to play on a opponent defense line he got fantastic shot , no defender can push him around he totaly rape Pepe psyhical and i am sure he will show he can play on counter attack in Madrid , Reus and Piszczek had a brilliant game too .

In my eyes Mario is more of a poacher type player, aggressive, good positioning, on rebounds, good finisher and Great aerial positioning and header, Lewa good finisher with cheeky goals chip goals, decent foot work, alright dribbling, decent headers, positioning is alright as well, Lewandoski more complete, Mario better positioning and header thats all

I'm not a Bayern fan and i know it's not likely but it would be sick if they would manage to keep both of them. Bayern plays a lot of games after all-bundesliga, champions league, the german cup, they'd both get a lot of playtime and maybe even a formation where Lewandowski would play as a CF and Mandzukic as a ST would be succesful, that would be intense

lewandowski has better technique - mandžukić is stronger, better in duel (stamina). Both are good goalgeters, maybe lewandowski scores more a bit. Both are great with head, maybe mandžukić is a bit better and jumps higher

He was voted Bundesliga's best player of the year by fellow pros. Of course he's not Ronaldinho, they're nothing alike... He is special because of how he can control games. His link-up, intelligence, movement, hold-up, etc, are all at the very top. He's one of the best CFs in Europe, playing consistently for the last 2 seasons. Mandzukic is very similar, but no sane person would say he's the better than Lewy atm.

Mandzukic is incredibly hard working forward. There is no other forward that runs and helps his own team defensively more than him. I've also read that statistically he is the most effective player using his head. He scored the highest percentage of goals with his head...more than the retired Jan Koller who was 6ft8 (202cm). Lewandowski is a more classical striker, great goalscorer. He is more of a target man/poacher. I think it's quite unfair to compare them...to both.

mario is warrior, when he has the ball he steps for teammates, and if he doesnt have it he will fight for it, mean while lewi wants to team serves him a goal. so for me mario is much better then lewi

There are lots of people that like him but it's not even close to Mandžukić. To me,they are both great players and same but why I think that Mandžukić is better,it is because he runs like crazy and helps in defense and offense,he leaves his heart on the ground every time he plays. There isn't many players like that. Last player I know that gave his heart on the ground was Ronaldinho when he was playing in Barca.

No,Mandžukić leaves his heart on the ground every game,he helps defence and score goals,Borussia can play without Lewandowski but Bayern can't play without Mandžukić. Bayern is so empty without him,and besides being a great player he is a great person and everyone love him,that's something Lewandowski isn't.

I think they'd play good together. Judging by current form, Mandzukic is better. He simply scores every game.
