Gotta say Cenk in general can be a real clown but this was perhaps one of his better videos. Not even because he recommends voting for Hillary, but because he's finally having the balls to go after the stay-at-home back-seat "progressive revolutionaries" who's entire contribution to the political scene was to vote for Bernie Sanders and then insult everyone on the internet who didn't do the same. Yes, vote Hillary and then immediately march to Washington and demand she overturn Citizens United like she said. That's actually making a difference.
You fool. You think you'll force that lying sack of shit to do what you want? You vote for Hillary you are voting for corruption and abuse of power. Rest assured she will not fulfill her promises and she will make everything worse. Instead of voting against what you fear try voting for what is right. Vote for Change dammit. Vote for Jill Stein.
Titus Orelius Full disclosure - I'm socially progressive, but economically center left, so Stein doesn't do it for me. That said, yes. Absolutely, yes. The NRA only has a couple thousand members but they block every gun control measure they possibly can, in spite of big money pushing for them. Why? Because they mobilize all their members to make a huge protest and yell at their representatives until they kill the bill. Meanwhile us liberals sit on the sidelines, let it happen, and complain that our politicians didn't do all the work for us. If you want change, then *you* have to be the one to make it, instead of putting up some stooge to do it all for you every 4 years.
Titus Orelius Look, if Trump wins, investors will lose confidence in the stock market---> depreciation of dollar---> pensions tied to the stock market (most pensions) are screwed ----> US economic recession/depression---> Global recession/depression/economic collapse. Vote wisely.
I respect your center-left economic views. However, I still think you made an indefensible error by voting for Hillary Clinton in the primary. Since the political spectrum of the US is relatively right-wing, it actually makes sense to vote for a candidate whose views are to the left of your own. A progressive President would have to compromise which means the final result, in most cases, would turn out to be center-left. Furthermore, it was abundantly clear that Hillary was a drastically flawed and wounded candidate. The FBI investigation should have disqualified her from the beginning; she never should've been allowed to run in the first place. Bernie is by no means perfect, but the people trust him, he was beating Trump by double-digits, and to this day he's America's most popular Senator. A Bernie nomination would have been a blessing for the center-left because Democrats would've picked up many more seats in the House and Senate.
LastBref I actually didn't vote in the primary. Not as a matter of laziness, but because I was completely torn between my two options and decided to just get behind the winner. I go to school in VT so I've known about Bernie for a while, and while I like a lot of what he has to say, I can't help but feel that he wouldn't have the support of enough politicians to get anything done, so we'd risk another 4 years of Obama-esque stagnation. That said, I do still think he'd make a great president in his own right just by being an activist-in-chief. I also think given the state of division in our country that it wouldn't be a slam dunk for him either. Cries of socialism and "weak" foreign policies are palpable attacks this day and age, so I wouldn't think it'd be surprising if we'd be roughly where we are now, with Trump screaming that he's a communist who hates money and will die tomorrow, and a depressed political center / establishment who finds both candidates too extreme. We'll never know, but who knows what could've been found if propagandists like Roger Stone or Project Verditas dedicated all their time to digging dirt on Sanders.
tthoma12 Put this doesnt means this guy need quited being literal Robot of how its acts and say this because I this commenter did same thing three or fours times within this infamous video.
John O’Donnell, who was president of the Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino and later wrote a memoir about his experience, said Trump blamed financial difficulties partly on African American accountants. “I’ve got black accountants at Trump Castle and at Trump Plaza - black guys counting my money!” O’Donnell’s book quoted Trump as saying. “I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. Those are the kind of people I want counting my money. Nobody else. . . . Besides that, I’ve got to tell you something else. I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is; I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.”
Trump still thinks the central park five is guilty when they have been exonerated and the person that did the crime has been caught and put in jail...he's a racist period!
You must have missed where anti-Clinton protests aren't even covered by MSM. In other words, they are effectively useless. They need to be orders of magnitude larger to have any impact. Also, shit needs to be on fire for 24/hr media coverage, so I recommend that.
I'm not mad at you Cenk. I wanted to vote for Hilary, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I didn't want to be responsible for the damage she does in office so I voted Jill. I am proud of Jill but I did vote before she took a plunge in the polls.
She had 0% chance of winning the election even before the "plunge" in the polls. Which really brings up her own judgment -- why does she think the way to achieve what she believes in is for her to run for President? Aren't there more realistic ways for her to further her cause? What did she ever do except for activism, before decided she ought to be Commander in Chief? I really can't understand all those Bernie supporters that switched to Jill Stein. Bernie Sanders has been in politics for decades, and he's done so much, first as an activist, then mayor, then congressman, then senator, before embarking on a presidential candidacy, which he came remarkably close to winning, and while doing so invigorated a progressive caucus in the Democratic Party that can potentially grow and transform that party and the whole nation. And what did Jill Stein ever do? Her supporters don't even know, because they're really just voting for a protest candidate. Your protest has been noted and will be completely forgotten the day after the election. You will achieve nothing by this.
Do some research on Hillary like you've done on Trump. Look up Assange interviews and The new clinton diaries. This is an important election for the world, do your objective and vote for yourself...not a group.
I live in California. I'm pretty sure it's not a swing state. I'm voting for Jill Stein. You can rationalize it if it makes you feel better, Cenk. I don't know of anyone who's voting Stein and thinks she's going to win. But I'm voting against war, against the TPP, and against corruption.
And Trump will become president because of that. Because the thing is, you are not going to get rid of war or corruption during this presidency. It's just not going to happen. Either Trump or Clinton will be president. That's the fact so if you don't vote for Clinton Trump could win and then what?
You may think that but if enough people think like you and don't vote for Clinton then yeah she might lose the state and then Trump will win. Is it likely that enough people don't vote for her? No she's likely win but it's not a 100% thing. Especially after FBI started looking into her emails again and lots of people on the left hating her.
Yeah I look negatively on people that still after everything Trump has done and said are still not voting for Hillary. That are willing to risk a Trump presidency because they don't like Hillary even though they know full well deep down that Hillary is not as bad as Trump and would be a better president. Even though they know that the next president is going to possibly appoint 4 supreme court justices. But no they are taking the chance that Trump could win. I don't like those people.
Chad has a point. If everyone who said that a vote for third party is a vote for Trump / Clinton voted green, then Jill would be in the lead. The two party duopoly is manipulating you. Hillary colluded with the media to get Trump where he is for the very purpose of manipulating you like this.
Benie has been texting obama to do something about the indian pipeline,.. the response obama has given bern is what you can expect from hilary. all talk and smiles but behind the smiles is the donors in charge.
I personally disagree with your choice, but I still respect you, Cenk. TYT was one of the few media stations that treated Bernie fairly, and called Hillary out on her bullshit.
John Solodovesky And voting for Hillary because you fear Trump is even worse scum thing to do. Doing something out of fear is always scum, shirtless, spineless thing to do....
i'm disappointed in cenk. i did vote like my vote matters. i voted my conscience. i voted jill stein. i want the green party to get more recognition and that will NEVER HAPPEN if every election cycle everyone gets scared into voting for 'the lesser evil.' i'm sorry. the buck stops here with me. everyone else is entitled to do what they want. but for me, this is what i'm doing. i'm using my vote to try and get green party to 5% so they can get public funding.
+sydandtaytum stick to voting your conscience. my vote will go to jill as well. im tired of falling in line and not having my voice be heard. id not like hillary and she does not represent me.
Leave these people alone. They want to get rid of corruption. But they vote for it. These people are lost, no way to educate people, that don't look at both sides and only hear what they want to hear. Remember finding proper facts is not needed anymore. Lie and get views is what TYT is all about now. Cenk is part of the media that they hate. Ironic indeed.
Whether I agree with you or not, I think it's absurd that anyone would accuse you of shilling for Clinton. Your position has always been clear and upfront and consistent with what you state here. Also, were you in any way biased in Clinton's direction, you'd hardly be broadcasting the videos that Jordan keeps making. It's possible that the understandable level of anger which some are feeling toward the egregious corruption which Clinton represents has crippled their ability to think straight at times. I'm certain that, if Clinton wins, you will do everything you can to make her become the president she pretends she wants to be instead of the one she secretly fantasizes about being.
+DickonSowerboy007: I understand this indignation but I really can't agree. There's no cowardice involved here. Cenk keeps insisting that the urgent thing is to eliminate the apocalyptic menace of Trump before it will be safe to really attack Clinton and bring her to heel. I'd be more critical if Clinton was likely to win in a landslide and therefore be free to believe that she's got away with it again and suckered us all while she further lines her coffers with stolen loot, but this is far from the case. She is struggling frantically against the most abysmal candidate the US has probably ever seen. She knows what a wretched failure her campaign has actually been and that more and more of her buried secrets will continue to be excavated. She knows she'll be held accountable for every thing she says and does as president and that she'll be challenged every step of the way by everyone who grudgingly voted for her. This is not the triumph she dreamed of and her reign will not be easy. I think we should begin making plans to get her out after four years of a miserable stay in the white house. Once Trump is vanquished there will be no need for restraint.
Just think that you'll still have a democratic country with all the tools in place to fight for your rights if she wins, but not if her opponent wins. I know is not comfort but it is unfortunately the likely scenario of Trump presidency
Having read your post, I'm more relieved than ever that I don't live in Norway. If I had to encounter someone like you on a daily basis I'd be delighted to be euthanized..
You must be a Trump supporter. If you're not, then listen up. It's the day after the election, and Trump won. Cenk's vote counted against Trump. Other progressives, thinking they knew something we didn't, voted 3rd party. Read below to see the effect of those 3rd party votes. www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/third-party-voters-played-key-role-election-results#break
Hillary wants war, Trump does not. also yes, leaving Iraq early was a mistake. If you educated yourself AT ALL on the matter, you'd know that the only reason why ISIS exists as they are now is because America left before there was a solid infrastructure and the power vacuum was filled because it had to be.
We will never change the cycle of 2 parties if people think like this guy... NEVER. Its time to vote considering this and break free. They are using "divide and conquer" and apparently "smart" people still does not get it in XXI
Milo is a troll. I don't mean that in a cutsie way too. He makes his living by forming arguments designed to get a reaction out of emotionally vulnerable people, which he then uses in turn to generalize all liberals, feminists, BLM, etc. If it wasn't for the reactions he solicits, he'd whither and die. At least go to someone like Ben Shapiro.
We have always been here...California, New Mexico,Floridad, Nevada, Texas, Arizona, San diego, Los Angeles, Orlando, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Sacramento and the list is long. Latinos have been in America for centuries and we DO NOT GET welfare or any aid from the goverment, we pay taxes and we fought in all the American wars from the first and second world, the Vietnam war to the Irak war. The percentage of Latinos in the USA Army is higher than white America, WE HAVE ALWAYS MADE AMERICA GREAT EVERYDAY !!!
Zeke m My vote will never go to someone I think is a vile human being ever again. Flawed- OK. VILE HUMAN BEING- No. If that makes me simplistic, I'd rather be simplistic than sick to my stomach when I put the x in the box.
cenk 02:23 : "you don't want to watch the show anymore because you don't like facts"... dude I can't believe you said that with a straight face! hahaha :D
+quaxk And what sources do you have to disprove their "facts"? I'm not saying you're wrong, I'd just like access to whatever sources are telling you TYT is lying. And don't give me any Alex Jones or David Duke, unless it can be proven with sources. I'll wait.
What did he say is a lie? He talked about polls and the position of third party candidates right now. You can disagree with his final decision on who to vote but he didn't lie about anything.
@omar merlos. Man I'm right with you here, I here this so much in the comments like "HA TYT, facts, ironic ha ha ha" and I'm like, ok what's the proof. Give me FACTS and their VALIDITY, and if you give me those, I'll be the first to fall behind calling TYT wrong.
I blame Cenk and everyone who thinks alike for this. People who dislike her and still vote for her are the reason that the DNC dared to nominate Clinton. These are the people they calculated with and the reason why they thought they wouldnt need a decent candidate and could just nominate their favorite. "Trump is so disliked they will vote for her anyway, we dont need Bernie." People who think like that are responsible for this mess. NeverHillary, NeverTrump.
I voted for Donald Trump not because I agree with his political policies, but because I'm a Bernie Sanders supporter and I hope my one vote will help stop Hillary Clinton from becoming POTUS. During the Democratic Primaries and after hearing about the recent Wiki DNC Emails I have been so disappointed in the Democratic Party and their shenanigans in screwing Bernie Sanders. "BERNIE OR BUST!"
The Laughing Man Although we don't know each other I appreciate you, and the one thing that makes you and I family, brothers, etc...is that we're both AMERICANS. And like me I know you love this nation just as much as I or any other American. And this election cycle has pained me to no end with all of the corruption. We are in need of a arsonist and hopefully our one vote can help. Thank you for the kind words in your previous post.
Dromaeosauridae Gaming I will have you know sir that I caucused for Bernie Sanders here in Las Vegas NV, I and hundreds of thousands of Bernie Sanders supporters stood in line for hours in 110' degree heat, and then sat in small rooms that were not air-conditioned debating with Hillary Clinton supporters on which Democrat Nevada should nominate. And since Bernie Sanders has been campaigning for Hillary Clinton I DON'T AGREE WITH ANYTHING HE SAYS. I would be a hypocrite if I were to cast my general election vote for a corrupt establishment Democrat such as Hillary Clinton. I said "Bernie or BUST!" and I ment it. "FEEL THE BURN"
Michael McClelland From the get-go, Bernie was anti Bernie or Bust. He was always saying "ANYONE but Trump!" They share none of the same policies. if you think Donald Trump is right for America, you only liked Bernie because he was anti-establishment.
Drinkandrive4fun wrong. I've been keeping up with the election since all the candidates announced their race for president. Don't worry. It's not a proud vote. But I have friends that are black, Muslim, Jewish, Mexican, and women that I deeply care about. If this racist becomes president...who's gonna stop him if he allows mass murder on our own people because he felt that he was disrespected? I know his supporters wouldn't because they can't even condemn him for sexual assault. I'm not taking that risk. Voting for trump isn't the way to stop the establishment. Passing an amendment is the way to stop legal corruption in politics.
Drinkandrive4fun she said she was thinking about it , if she found that it could lead to war or it was to risky she would not do so. She will actually sit down with people and listen to them and we have a chance to have our voices heard . Trump will listen to know one but trump and in his words will "bomb the shit out of Isis" w/e the hell that means , will bring back Toture even though it's been proven to NOt work and is a big reason why everyone hates us and there is an Isis to being with! He will also kill whole families who live in terriorist countries , how do you think Isis will react to that , they will have a legit reason to attack us. Isis has already stated if trump wins they will wage holy war on America and you can excited 9/11 times 100. Nations we rely on have said they will refuse to work with the US under a trump presidency where did you think that gets us ? WAR that's where it gets us. Clinton has said over and over again she doesn't want war , she will try everything possible , trump has just said he will bomb every thing and to go ahead let everyone WMDs . Maybe they country needs to elect trump and have is go down the damn toilet and be laughed at by the world and become the weakest nation since a POTUS trump cries like a baby anytime some one says anything negotiate about him and he wages all out war against them. Well he can't sue countries so what do think he will do?
Julio Real I did, and I have no reason to trust cenk. And if you're poor and need some health care i understand that you don't care if cenk's family cant visit him for 4 years
I agree with you Cenk. I'm right there with you. I voted for Bernie in Primaries, wanted Jill Stein, but am realist. HILLARY will be my choice only so that Bernie begin to pressure a progressive agenda he promised to do. DOn't feel bad dude. I am 100% with you Bro!
@ W OD She's not f-king Harry Potter, she's a f-king human being. As if it's impossible to keep people accountable. Bernie Sanders already has a plan in motion to "move on her like a bitch". Joke. You must not be a minority, native american offended by Trump's racist Pocahontas, Rapist comments, that your willing to overlook that he would rewind our society by legitimizing racism as if we were back in 1950's. It's hopeless to try to make you reason on how dangerous Trump is vs how H-Clinton [is simply a typical politician] who is by nature establishment. Establishment VS DANGEROUS to minorities, muslims, and anyone thats not like him or does not agree with him. IF your white, yeah you probably dont give a shit about minorities, native americans, but I do. SO, f-k emails, Im voting for Hillary. Bernie will at least pressure her as much as he can. Those are our only 2 realistic outcomes, the other outcome with trump is UNACCEPTABLE to take us back to racist 1950's immigrants out, blacks out, minorities out. OF course, if your white, I can see why it's not a big f-king deal. Im not African American, nor do I look like a minority, Im not muslim, but Im standing up for those would be discriminated against by religion, race, or who just happen to not look that white. Thanks for caring about your fellow man. Get a back bone and stand up for someone other than yourself!
Theres zero logic in your point. When 2 people are the only probable winners. You have to make that choice, and others will make it for you if you dont. So how is your logic not stupid? Grow up!
Noah Bromarf Of course progressives will vote for Hillary. The only other option is promising to repeal Paris climate change agreement, to get rid of EPA, and he's openly racist. Progressives will vote for Hillary, unless they're idiot.
anyone who votes for someone who pushes to bomb kids in syria, iraq, libya and yemen because the other canadite said something they didn't like is the worst scum on the earth
This video illustrates why I hate Cenk as a person. Cenk Uygur: Touts the show is independent -- 5:45 Says he just reports whats in the news. Then he says this 18:25 3:45 Says your vote matters -- 4:00 Belittles the importance of voting. Then 10:54 Promotes civil disobedience as opposed to political action. 6:15 Acknowledges he's voting for systemic corruption -- 10:30 condemns Trump's condemnation of systemic corruption 7:09 Suggests protesting Clinton's negative positions -- 11:58 Assumes no such ability for Trumps positions to change 16:33 Hypothesizes about a Trump war when Clinton is the obvious war Hawk and Putin has cemented this. 17:47 Repeats Donald Trump's main campaign argument word for word and claims it as his own. Only in the Clinton campaign have I seem more flagrant hypocrisy. Without ever judging Cenk's political views, I can safely say he shows no interest in pursing the truth. I can only wonder what his motives for producing this show actually are - but they are not to inform the people, nor are they to help the people drawn they're own conclusions.
I cant help but notice the irony in the picture that he's put up: "Hill or high water" A play on an old cliche which offers two ill situations, with high water being the lesser of the two...
Somehow you ignored the main point of his video. The point of voting Hillary is to prevent a Trump precidency. All of your other points does not have anything to do with that. To vote Jill Stein or Gary Johnson instead of Hillary would then be making Trump more likely to win, that's all it actually would accomplish.
Chopchopchop He took out his backbone for the lesser of two evils and look where it got him. Nowhere. The irony is funny. So not only does he have it on his conscious, but he miscalculated all the polls and numbers to believe Hillary had the best chance when she didn't. At least third party can stand back with their heads high knowing they didn't fall victim to Democrat fear tactics and now can say that the votes were better spent building a movement rather than partaking in one that's going to sink soon.
In my view voting for either Clinton or T-rump is choosing to stay within the existing structure rather than choosing change. I cannot do that. I can and will vote for Jill Stein.
Ironsides Voting for T-Rump, the butt of a T-Rex, would be voting for change within the system. A system that gives us two bad choices is broken and needs to be changed.
He, Bernie or other caviar leftist hypocrites reveal their missing moral integrity. The most Africans expect to get better life by subscribing and watching the lies this fat Turkish prig.
Bernie Sanders should've endorse Jill Stein or the other third party candidate tyt should've endorsed them long time ago when Bernie lost Bernie Alex Jones should've endorsed the third party all of you people have a big influence you shouldve set your difference aside and not let trump and clinton the only choices
he's really saying us voting Jill Stein means nothing. smdh Rome wasn't built over night cenk. voting Jill Stein not only counts for this election cenk but the next ones to come. so now I know why all the stupid Donald segments you were doing.
Brandon MP at least voting for Jill Stein I'm won't be regretting anything or rather end up protesting against the same person I'm voting for. how stupid is that. again "rome wasn't built in a day."
The Clintons created the institutional racism that sent people of color to prison and left them starving without food aid and made it more difficult to get financial aid for college then profited off of that suffering through private prison investments and campaign donations. I don't think either Trump or Clinton is going to be an acceptable option. Jill Stein is all we really have left as an option that is neither silence nor supporting evil.
Stu Bur The Clinton's didn't create institutional racism. Institutional racism has been in the United States since the first white settler came here. We are now seeing racism because Trump has bought it out of the shadows, but for people of color we always knew it was there.
I don't like Hillary and I can name a million things i hate about her.. but Trump is a different kind of monster.. not only is his rhetoric dangerous, his ignorance on global warming is absolutely mind blowing.. on that issue alone he has proven to be unfit for office
Wait is there some sort of inside joke here that im missing? Or do some autists really think its the 28th. For my faith in humanity. Im betting on the former.
I'm with you Cenk. I'm a FL voter, I was rooting for Johnson earlier in the election season, but like you said in your video now is not the time to vote third party. As much as it pains me to do it I too voted for Hillary Clinton. Sign me up for your protests, lets do better in 2020.
Rebecca Booth I will say if you know anyone please tell them vote for Hillary now. I am a moderate Republican and I support John Kasich. However, we can't afford Trump to be our president. He asked about why USA can't use nuclear weapons before. Can't you imagine Trump get in office, anytime he gets anger maybe start a nuclear war. Hillary at least will have way more temperament than Trump. I have family, I just want to protect my next generation.
Titus Orelius he's not wrong. You have too be in extraordinary position to safely vote third party. Much like myself. My state is 14.583% democratic. Therefore I voted for Jill.
lol Passively investing into mutual funds is not the same thing as actively investing in oil companies. Unless you actively constrain your mutual fund investments daily, you're going to have some exposure to oil funds.
Will you own up to what you helped create if she wins? That you'll take ownership of the wars, the TPP, the deregulations, the fracking, the drilling, the pipelines, etc? After all, you actively just helped her get into power. You are culpable because of it. not solely, not largely, but still culpable. What do you plan to do to make amends? And don't give me "I'll fight her every day" bs. That "hold their feet" or "fight them" shit didn't work with Obama (he still did everything Bush did and enhanced it, other than torture), it won't work with Hillary. So what will you do to see the suffering you helped create?
Cenk, as a former "Bernie or bust" follower.. I completely understand and respect your decision. for me, what's important are women's rights, gay rights and immigration reform. I was going to write in Bernie in my state as a protest vote... but after watching the polls and seeing that he's got a chance to actually win and potentially nominate supreme Court justices, I've painfully come to the decision to support Hillary Clinton as well, I can't jeopardize our future and basic human rights. you have earned my respect, Cenk. thank you.
First they came for the Latinos, and I did not speak, because I am not latino. Then they came for the Muslims, and I did not speak, because I am not a Muslim. Then they came for "the blacks", and I did not speak, because I am not black. THEN THEY CAME FOR ME AND THERE WAS NO ONE TO SPEAK FOR ME.
You are doing the grown up thing, Cenk. I get it, I was with Bernie too, but while Hillary is very flawed, Trump is a monster. If Clinton wins, we'll survive to fight another day, if Trump does... I can't really say that. And you might say I'm overreacting, but I don't want to take that chance: with Trump, I can't take anything off the table.
I agree with Jimmy Dore and other progressives here. Trump is NOT worse than Hillary, as she has already done what we fear Trump might do. Also, I agree with Jill Stein, that it is time to stop voting out of fear but to vote for your beliefs. Im Jill all the way guys.
The point isn't that a third party candidate cannot win today. The point is to stop continuing to feed this insanity of a political system by continuing to do the same thing, which is supporting a 2 party system, and expecting a different result. Insanity. We deserve what we get.
NeoFunk Did you imagine that every wrong thing would be learned and we'd be facing the same or even worse scenario heading into 2020? Ppl are even more entrenched in the binary system now than they were in 2016. Shameful.
Whipper Keep this comment in your notification when you want to come back and tell me I told you so even tho it's never gonna happen. She's not going to jail
Everyone knows Hillary will win. If Trump didn't say dumb shit than he could've had a chance. Surprised how he won over Kasich and Hillary over Bernie.
And that fear will lead to worse coming. TPP, deregulations, war, fracking, drilling, etc. It will lead to a massive democratic loss in 2018 and 2020. It will lead to a worse person than Trump coming around (someone ACTUALLY a fascist and smarter). Face it, fear based voting has only ever made a nation (any nation) worse.
In hindsight, you should have voted green party. At least you could have given them the momentum for the next election. Don't vote against candidates. Vote on principles.
Awe Cenk, I'll watch you because I like what you do. You are free to vote for whom you want. I don't watch your show because I agree with everything you say. On Tuesday, I will not vote so that 'my team' will win. I'm voting for #JillStein2016 because I believe in her and her platform. Because it's the right and moral thing to do. I will walk away from the booth and feel great, unlike the other groups which I suspect will be in fear and anguish. Lol But, one thing for sure, it will all be over. Hahaha.
jeanjoel spatafora I couldn't have said it better myself! Great points you mentioned; and don't forget that Jill getting 5% qualifies for federal funding and puts the Green Party on the ballot in all fifty states! Building a solid party we can believe in!
To whoever wants to vote for Trump, I think you should ask yourself one question and one question only : just how much do you think Trump cares about you? Not sure? Do a little research about what he has done to help people during his long business career. And please do not consider "giving a job to someone", because you cannot run a sizable business without employees, so it's pretty hard to say which jobs were given out of compassion vs pure necessity. A more appropriate research would be about how he treats those employees. Just look it up and make up your mind. I think I would vote for whoever is more likely to care more about me, an average citizen part of the 99%. And if you establish after looking this up that he may not care about you at all, then maybe you should think about voting for someone that does. (And I'm not implying Hillary or anyone else to be clear)
Regardless of however much Trump cares, it is 1000x more so than Hillary. Regardless, if we were talking about caring, we'd ask how much you care about people in the south-western states who don't want people flooding over the border, or people in the rust-belt states who want industry to come back, or people in the inner cities who want law and order, or the people across the country to have masses of people that you were killing 10 years ago suddenly transplanted into their communities especially after the disaster in Europe. If you don't like the guy, and you personally aren't getting any help from his policies, you're at least voting for policies that will help people. With Hillary as well as getting someone you hate, you're also getting someone that helps no one. At least have the courtesy of not voting for anybody at that point.
Warzone W I just disagree. To breach her security clearance is a crime for everyone else except her. Her judgement is careless, and because she didn't intend for anything bad to happen she gets off???
I live in California and I want my vote to matter. That's why I'm voting for Stein. If I were in a swing state, yes, I would vote Hillary. So I understand were your coming from Cenk. However, I feel to make my vote count I want to show Hillary that yes you need to sway left. And the proof is look how many votes Stein got!
I'm with Bernie, he's with her, I'm with them. The fight continues after this election and I will help Bernie and Elizabeth pressure Clinton to serve the people.
I'm voting 3rd party, Jill Stein to be specific. If I can add to the number of votes AGAINST the 2 party system, I will gladly do so. I know I won't win, but I will show my discontent with this election and these 2 candidates.
Jacqueline I'm right there with you; but I will add that anytime you vote for a candidate you believe in--it is a win! Jill getting 5% of the vote enables the Green Party to get federal funds, puts the Green Party on the ballots in all fifty states, and is the strong foundation for the future of a party we can believe in!
ImRightYoureWrong5 I actually see the same troll usernames on here pretending to be liberals. Its really not hard to notice when they post on every tyt video
sstteevveenn77 Not all. But that is absolutely true. Anonymity makes it easy to be agents of division. These cuntservatives are trying to divide progressives. it won't work.
Well said Cenk, well said. You echoed my exact feelings about this election, Trump is just too dangerous to risk despite how much I hate Hilary. I know I'm not saying much in this comment, but I think it's important to give my honest feedback in the comment section no matter how simple it may be so that content creators can actually get an accurate depiction of how people felt about the video outside of Likes/Dislikes.
But don't you see that he's hurting the future for 3rd parties by trying to persuade people to vote for Hillary? And Cenk doesn't even need to vote for her here in CA. His vote would be much more valuable going to Stein. More valuable to our future!
Lisa, I love Jill Stein and I love the idea of the 3rd parties. If it was Ted Cruz, Rubio, Romney, anyone else, I'd vote Stein. But i know too many Muslims and I have too many immigrants in my life to not vote for Hillary Clinton. Trump can and would deport them and he is a real danger because of his incompetency. November 9th, i fight for Wolf-PAC and then ranked choice voting so greens can win next time around.
Thomas Webster Okay, I understand hating Trump, he is a pig. But Hillary is such a traitor and war monger....such a... eh can't even go on. I just wish we had better choices!
Thomas Webster It's because the big banks own everything and everyone. They will determine who wins this election and it will be Hillary, their most useful puppet. They would have let Trump win but he's too unreliable.
I'm pretty sure he was very clear about opposing trump, which means voting for the lesser of the evils, aka Clinton. Not voting means you are indifferent, which he clearly isn't.
xertris not voting does not mean you don't care. There are plenty of politically aware people who does not like either who won't take part in this bullshit.
Then you are a leaf in fall, letting the shifting wind determine your fate. If you are happy with this then keep on floating. I only hope you don't land us in an incinerator.
I wouldn't vote for Johnson. Not because I think it would be a waist of a vote, but because he's clueless when it comes to most of the issues a President should be fluent in. If he were running for Congress. I might vote for him. But not President.
Every Jill Stein voter on here keeps saying, "oh but Hillary is going to win anyway". If you lived in Florida, you wouldn't be saying that. So keep denying and denying that Trump has a chance of winning, because he does. He certainly does
That is called Democracy. If his voters are majority, then he will win, like it or not. Don't blame others. The electoral system is also sh*t, but if Clinton or Trump wins people are going to need to be in the streets to prevent them from dong right-wing stuff anyway.
I don't want Hillary to win. I want Jill to win. I won't ever vote for Clinton. I vote for the person that I would like to win regardless of their chances of actually doing so. If nothing else it keeps that option alive for future elections and might even grow. I want both Trump and Clinton to lose and I won't vote for either of them even when I know one of them is likely to win. I hate them both.
steve0793 I will not put them in office because I will not vote for them. I will not vote for Clinton ever and have said so since before she even announced her candidacy. She did manage to destroy the last of my confidence in the Democratic Party however so I will be reluctant to support other Democrats in the future. Withholding support for the corrupt Democrats does not support the Republicans in any way because the alternative for me is to stay home or write in an independent. I am not a Democrat so don't expect me to vote for a Democrat.
steve0793 I would still support a third party but it would still not take any votes away from Clinton that she would have had otherwise. Trump is a threat but in terms of threat to democracy Clinton is an even greater threat. A horrible candidate that wins justly is preferable to any other candidate that wins by rigging elections. This is because rigging the election completely destroys the foundation of democracy and makes it meaningless. People should get the leader they elect, not the one some group chooses to install because they think they know better. That is just covert dictatorship and if overt dictatorship is the only other option then that would be preferred because it is easier to rally support to fight against. But in the real world we don't have to choose either and can support small party candidates. A real alternative to a corrupt establishment is worth having and sustaining even if they are at a severe disadvantage.
I voted for Stein and I'm not disillusioned that she might win. In fact Trump will probably win my state. But like you USED TO SAY, don't give into the extorsion of the two-party system, it just reinforces that system
shut up. tyt lets everyone say what their opinion is. it's why jimmy is there and why jordan is there. jordan is at the pipeline right now- which to me is more pressing news, because they are beating those protesters down LITERALLY.
Rob Robberson it is edited yes, full unedited videos should be released, butbthey themselves are spilling the beans, they wouldn't have lost their jobs if it was just edited somehow ,it'd be the world's best editing I'll tell ya what
I live in Utah and I voted early for Jill stein. not because I thought she would win, but because I wanted to make it clear that her ideals had some support. however, after the third debate I wished i had voted for clinton because it made me realise how smart she is. even though I voted for jill, I really hope hill wins. I hope that most people didn't do what I did. I hope most people voted for hillary. she does what she has to to further her career, but she does this with an ultimate goal of gender equality at mind and I truly believe she will make an excellent president. please people, vote for hillary!
I'm Voting for Jill Stein. I don't care if she isn't gonna win. At least I'll be able to sleep at night, and that's worth more to me than voting for someone simply because they are less evil then someone else. Vote for whoever you want, just make sure you can sleep at night. If you can sleep at night voting for hillary or trump fine. I can't, so i am not going to.
Dont expect to win if you dont play the game. Elect the Democratic candidate and keep her in check. She will probably do whatever it takes to not anger millenials, progressives, minorities and women if she wants to be re elected. Vote BLUE!
