I find Clarence Thomas' presence on the Supreme Court almost as much as a farce as an inauguration of Trump in 2024 given that this monstrous man has been in receipt of Billionaire largesse and given that his wife, Ginnie is and was one of the conspirators in the attempt to steal the2020 election with the false electors. He is not alone. Neil Gorsuch and Alito are likewise suborned. Fortunately we have a Supreme Court of higher integrity and intellect, but the prime minister does not get to nominate three crooks to the court as the President in the USA, If our supreme court were to be presented with the facts and the clarity of language of the 14 Amendment article3 I suspect it would take them a matter of hours to disqualify Trump Money. I cannot help thinking that millionaires pour their money down the drain in thee UK, but Brexit, public credulity, and the strange appeal to the masses of the Weird, and the peculiar do rather damage my argument .If I compare Jimmy Saville and Trump then you have cause for alarm that Popcorn Conservatism might throw up a person as absurd, mendacious and treacherous as Nigel Farage, Boris Johnson and Liz Truss and Jacob Rees-Mogg. But the most sinister destructive figure in the Anglosphere, [in Australia the USA and Australia] is Rupert Murdoch and his male brood., Murdoch has destroyed our media, by subversion, influence money, so much so that I rely on French and German newspaper for news, and prefer Jane Austen in English Fiction to the Sun ,The Mail , The Telegraph, The Express. English is such an easy language for liars, swindlers and conspirators. The scandal of Murdoch and Fox in the USA in respect to the USA election is hardly discussed in Britain but it is notorious u the USA. Mr Gove, the plausible, but sinister eminence grease in the Tory Party is a huge fan of Murdoch and ever been held to account in the UK.

Although i agree, I'm not sure how much of the general public would care unless it was waved repeatedly in front of them by the media (which is unlikely in the case of right wing newspapers).

@user-iz5kb9zn6e Actually correct for nominal GDP, which given it's ranked 50th in the USA, is pretty damning. The only caveat would be that nominal GDP is so flawed a measure, whereas PPP gives a truer picture, however can't find that data for Mississippi, but its about equivalent I think. Btw, this isn't a new revelation, as it was the FT that ran an article on it last week, which received wider attention in turn.
