lol i had no idea. Went through a jazz funk “phase” early 2000’s when going to college. Listened to a lot of Jamiroquai but actually had never realized they had already been around for over a decade by the time I “discovered” them for myself.😅 Very cool!
What a wonderful video. I can't thank you enough. My absolute favorite singer of all time is Jay Kay. I can't tell you just how much I love him and how he's changed my life.
I hate zoo's too! Just Leave the animals Alone, 😔 take care of our planet, be kind, be fair, be righteous. Wow, what a cool guy you are! Peace and love to to Jay Kay.
thanks to the Virtual Insanity meme and few videogames that features their song, I become an enjoyer for their a songs, whenever I'm feeling down, I will always go jam to their songs. They really cure ne a lot through the good times, high times, good vibe zones!
Seen them in London on 6th December 2018 , he was quite struggling on the stage to be honest, but understandable as he was sick already before the concert… great performance and night love Jay Kay !
Been a fan since the beginning. Remember being 16 and hearing "Too young to die" come on the radio, it sounded amazing and instantly made me stop and listen. I got the music and it got me. My subculture wasn't rave (liked it a bit) or grunge (hated it) but instead Acid Jazz and there weren't too many Liverpool teenagers into that. On my 21st birthday, I got "Cosmic Girl" played for me whilst wearing the t-shirt. I dated a Jay Kay lookalike around the same time.😂 In the 2010's I'd listen to their albums on repeat on the bus home from work. Now, I consider it to be the soundtrack of my life in retrospect and like Jay Kay have a great respect for animal rights. His abrasiveness at times due to his strong opinions also remind me a bit of myself but i don't do the drugs thing.
Thanks that was very interesting. I think it's also worth mentioning that he's a huge fan of cars. I loved watching him on those old top gear episodes.
This is awesome I love this group & Jay Kay's singing their music has a very interesting & distinctive sound & message of peace & love at the core. I can actually sense that about them
I've been listening since like 1995. I am still using the music to lift my spirits help me clean the house and get my exercise in. Beats and lyrics together get me going everytime. I'm a forever fan.
Jeremiah 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the 🏳️🌈heathen🏴☠️, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
I met him before he was famous around 1988/9 at a peace camp. I wasn't impressed with him at the time. He tried chatting me up but he wasn't my type. My friend got off with his mate. Years later, I just happened to be watching Top of the Pops and the band came on doing 'Too Young to Die' and I recognised that it was the same guy. I love the music and the overall ideology he has but I struggle with the fact that he loves collecting fast cars and luxury. It's kind of juxtaposition to his lyrics in the early songs. 🤷
I would have got off with him😂. I dated a lookalike who had a similar personality in the mid 90's (strong opinions not the drugs bit). I like a man who has strong beliefs and who isn't a pushover. Can't stand all that rescue me crap.
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. 🏴☠️ Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
High times (referencing drugs) Virtual insanity (referencing the dangers of internet) Feels just like it should (Referencing sex(?)) Somehow it depends on how people see it.
I think he's stuck in the 70s Hippie Movement..Smoking dope ruins lives...my Lil Brothers brain is absolute mush from it sadly...There music is good though...But pushing Red Neck Reefer's is not
I have been listening to their music since 2000. It was on mtv and vh1. And at the time I was a kid and didn't understand english but I loved the funky vibe. A week ago I bought their first vinyl. I'm very happy haha
Jamiroquai died when Stuart Zender and Tobby Smith left... Now it s just funky friendly easy music but the initial spirit is over... "Too young to die"...sponsored bye Ferrari What a pity... Ego trip...😢
