Jonathan is the one that introduced me to Orthodoxy. Praise God. I cannot thank him enough for his wisdom over the past few years. My wife and i will begin our Catachuman process after Pascha. And I can't thank Jonathan enough. Jonathan, God bless.

Hi Jonathan and Fr. Josiah, I am a 20 year old from Australia, and I would like to thank you both for being two of the main leaders in my walk towards God, and Holy Orthodoxy. I come from a fairly atheistic background, and I am the only one in my family who goes to Church and really understands what Christianity is. I feel very blessed to have access to such useful content, yet at the same time completely over my head. I have "The Language of Creation" and I'm currently going through that and kind of going insane, because absolutely nobody in my close circle really wants anything to do with what I'm learning, and to be honest, some of my family members are completely anti-christianity that it's scary. Anyways, I did just want to thank you both for making my walk make sense. Tom.

Unfortunately I am yet to hear a person who will say that their experience has been an easy one. It's always challenging (as in narrow road), away from conveniences of the world, often times alone(unless you are in a church). However, that's a blessing for some people's perspective of Christianity. Now, listen to your heart anf prey (meditate with Jesus prayer) and you will know the truth as HE is always within the one who seeks. May God bless and all the best in your journey.

Hi Tom, I went through exactly the same thing when I was your age also in Australia. My advice is to make friends with the young people at your church - they will be your support group. It’s very important to take part in the life of the church; don’t try to go it alone. Most importantly, share any concerns, you have with the priest.

@@gauguin007 Hi mate, thank you for the little bit of encouragement and support. It actually is a little soothing having people share their similar experience. There really isn't many young people that actively attend my Church, so I am having some quite in depth conversations with really knowledgable people, which is good. The Pascha service the other night made me cry, kind of uncontrollably. I was having a realisation of the reality of Christ and that I was in the ACTUAL experience of the Church. It was quite a humbling and grounding experience. I kind of feel like I could always just burst out crying out of fear and admiration when I think of the resurrection... I kind of don't know how to think and to act now... Everything else is under that.. Anyways, thank you for responding bro. I'm from the Central Coast of NSW btw.
