My husband won his asylum case and applied for a green car. I was approved to be added to his case and now I am filling out the form to apply for a green car. Should I select derivative or principal applicant in Part 2?
so let's say, my husband who is the legal resident is filing for his two sons. (not my sons) on the form i-485 would the son be the principal applicant on the applications? we've already filed the forms i-130?
Do the derivatives have to be named in the application? For instance a US citizen is petitioning for a sibling, does he need to name the sibling's kids on the application as well?

Hi, I am currently on J1 visa and residing in US. I want to apply for j2 visa for my wife and kid. Now, while filling up the DS-160 form, they have asked to mentioned the name of Principal applicant, so in this case I will be be the principal applicant, right?

I am a US citizen. My brother is under 21 and I have applied for my mother and him. After doing more research I found out that I can not file for him if he is under 21 and I am guessing it will be denied. However, under his application, section 5, it did ask if I am applying for other family members and I did mention my mother. Once my mother is here, can she apply for him? How long will it take if he is still a minor. Additionally, do you suggest I withdraw my application or wait for denial? I have only applied 3 days ago.

Can a derivative applicant a spouse of an asylum after became a permanent resident for five years, apply as a SOLO for naturalization even before the principal applicant applies, and hide the whole naturalization file information from the spouse which was the principal asylum applicant?
